Graco Extend2Fit 2-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (Gotham 2.0)

I bought two of these a month ago and my daughter loves it. I love that the recline adjusts and that it’s not too bulky front to back. This car sear fits good in both cars and someone can still sit in the passenger seat. We think it fits better than the slim fit we have as well!

I keep buying this car seat again and again for multiple kids & cars. The extendable leg feature helps my very tall 2 year old can stay rear-facing longer.

We bought this a month ago and it adjusts into the car perfectly. It is sturdy and very comfortable.

I finally bought this new car seat for my baby. She turned 1 in February and it was long overdue for a new one beyond the infant car seat. It’s very durable and comfortable and my baby loves it. I feel like she’s safe in this seat.

This is the second Extend2Fit we’ve purchased and they are great! Easily adjustable and comfy for the kids.

I wish there was an option to have a canopy or sun shade for our son. He went from an infant car seat that included a canopy shade for 6 months to now having this seat (Extend to Fit) with no shade. So it is open to the bright sun. It took some adjusting but he tolerated being in the seat for a 6 hour car ride (with a couple stops) his first time using it. Overall its good but I think he is still adjusting to it as he usually falls asleep within 20 minutes of us being in the car and now it takes him close to an hour.

I love that this car seat is extended rear facing and will fit my child for years to come. It’s a great price for how long it will be used for!

The seat looks comfortable and is easy to install. The toddlers fit in it easily and seem to enjoy riding in it.

This seat is my family's favorite. We've had a few seats from Graco and other brands but as of right now both toddlers are in this seat (different colors). They are easy to setup and install with an easy to read manual.

We had four now, we got our first when our now three year old grew out of his first carseat. We got our second when our now two year old grew out of her first carseat. We ended having yo buy two new ones after a car accident. We really love these carseats due to how easy they are to use, and how comfortable our children seem in them. They fit nicely in our car and are easy to take out and put back in when needed. Highly recommend these carseats!

We love our Graco car seat. It was easy to install, it's easy to use, and we know it's keeping our little one safe. We especially appreciate the little pockets to keep the straps out of the way when you're putting the kid in.

Fantastic car seat, my daughter loves it, it’s comfortable and safe. A little clunky and doesn’t have all the gadgets that some high end models do, but it is sturdy, affordable, and seems like it will last.

We were just blessed with another grandchild,hence another car seat for grandpa and grandma. The other car seat we have(another brand) is very heavy and cumbersome but extremely Safe and Sold. The main differences between the two; Extend2fit is much lighter Extend2fit has 2 cup holders which is awesome Extend2fit has two small seat belt holders which makes it super easy to tug away The Quality of the Extend2fit seems to be equal to the higher priced brands.

This car came exactly as described. I appreciate the 2 instructions booklets and I also appreciate all the safety features of this seat. The explanations for installation are clearly written with appropriate pictures to accompany each step.

After extensively reviewing car seats, I decided to go with the Graco Extend2Fit. We valued rear facing weight limit over something meant to last “forever”. Easy install. My kiddo seems content in it. The only thing I don’t like is that the button to loosen the harness is buried inside the seat.. I’m not sure who doesn’t loosen and tighten the harness straps when buckling your child in..so this has been a slight inconvenience and annoying at times with a kicking toddler. Just wish it was more easily accessible.

We’ve been using the Graco Extend2Fit for our 10-month-old (21 lbs, 29”) for the past two months, and it’s already a game-changer. Installation: Super easy with the InRight LATCH system—took me less than 5 minutes to get a tight, wobble-free fit in our Ford Expedition. The level indicator is clear and reassuring. Comfort: This seat is so soft. The plush padding and infant insert cradle our baby perfectly, and he falls asleep within minutes on every car ride (even short trips!). Our baby is happy, we’re stress-free, and we won’t need another seat until he’s in a booster. Highly recommend!

It’s awesome that the anchor clips have been updated from a different graco seat that we have (always had trouble securing it). This one will grown with our 12 month old for a good long time. The kid LOVES the cup holders too.

Decent. A little hard to install securely with LATCH. The 3-in-1 somehow fits better in my car than the 2-in-1.

Switched to this seat from the snugride when my son was about 8 months old. He had started hating the car so much but since switching to the extend2fit, he’s a happy rider!! Having him more upright seems to work really well.

Great car seat all around! I can see why it is so well recommended. It fits well in our tiny hatchback car, and I can tell our toddler is going to fit rear facing for a while which is great. My two very small complaints, why are the cup holders square? and I wish they had made the shoulder strap pads a little better, they keep popping off.

Love the look of the car seat, love that it has cup holders. Unfortunately the instructions were a little confusing on how to install but a YouTube video was able to help me. I feel once installed it is a little tricky with the straps but hoping with more use they will get better.

This is a great seat overall. The cushions look very comfortable and installation was easy. The only downside is the latch to loosen the seatbelt is tucked away and really hard to get to so we have to keep the existing setting while putting our baby in and taking him out.

Our 18-month-old baby is >99% in both height and weight. She would refuse to stand and walk when we took her out of her car seat. We finally realized it was because her legs were falling asleep in her rear facing car seat because they were bent up to her neck. When we saw the Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat with the extended leg rest, it was like God heard our prayers. Now she sits like a Princess in her Graco throne.

We chose this car seat for our Hyundai Tucson because it allows my husband and I to fit in the car with the car seat behind either seat. We ar both tall and this was not possible with our previous rear facing seat. It’s comfortable and clean looking for our daughter. It’s incredibly easy to install. Comfortable seat that’s lightweight and easy to install. I loved the extension for leg room for my toddler. He’s in the 90th percentile for height but is able to safely sit rear facing a little longer.

I love this seat. My toddler is very comfy in it. My only complaint is that the straps don't always tighten evenly so sometimes I have to loosen it a bit on one side and then tighten the entire thing back down.

This is a really excellent car seat at a great price. It fits well in our small car (Prius c), and actually leaves more room than our infant car seat did! I appreciate the adjustability and knowing it’ll grow with our daughter for years to come. Our daughter seems comfortable in it and it’s easy to buckle her in/take her out.

This is a good car seat but it is large and bulky. inlike that it can be rear facing for so much longer for larger babies, in particular. However, it is not for a small car as I had to have my passenger seat all the way forward in my sedan. Easy enough to install and adjust actually. Great for the price and good safety ratings.

I love this car seat! When my baby started to outgrow her infant car seat, I knew we had to get a new one. This is perfect, as it will grow with my child. Not too hard to install, but if you travel often or friends pick you up with your child, you may want to get an additional car seat for travel and leave this one in the car.

It’s quite complicated until you figure out how simple it is. Online video very helpful to get it set up. The instruction manual is terrible to figure out.

Fantastic! Great quality and our baby isn't screaming whenever we put him in the car now! Plenty of room, and cushions for long rides. He's comfy and riding in style. For our car, it currently isn't too tall as it's at one of the lowest settings, but it doesn't appear it will really fit in our car as he gets taller. But for now, it's a great car seat. Just what we wanted and needed!

This is the best car seat ever and my toddler loves it. I love how you can extend it so you can keep your little rear facing until they hit the maximum requirement to switch to front facing. My toddler falls asleep in it it’s so comfortable. He can keep his legs stretched out and I can tell he’s happier with this car seat vs our old one and it’s better for his body. Fantastic buckle system so I know he’s completely safe. Extremely durable.

I bought this to use for our grandson. It is very easy to install and move between cars if necessary. It is easy to adjust and fit exactly to his size and appears that it will be easy to use as he grows. The only complaint, if any, is when it is empty it rattles if driving on rougher roads. But would recommend.

I recently got this car seat for my 2.5 year old and he is so much less squished and more comfortable backward facing than in his prior car seat. It was pretty easy to install and I also like the little pockets to put the latches in so he doesn't sit on them when he's getting in.

I love the fact it grows with your child. I own three and it’s nice they all fit side by side in our large SUV in the second row even with cup holders. It seems when they outgrow the body pads (20Ibs) per the manual they aren’t as comfortable and my oldest toddler said she wants them back it. Their heads are slightly pushed fwd without the body pads and just look uncomfortable but seem to tolerate rides okay.

Overall the car seat is great. It’s easy to install with clear instructions. The latch straps are easy to use and to remove with the release button and their storage points are great for when you’re not using them. It’s easy to adjust the height of the headrest to find the right height. The pockets for storing the harness buckles are extremely useful. The fabric is soft and easy to clean. It’s a little challenging to remove/install the seat covers as some of it is attached with elastics threaded through openings and hooked to small eyelet hooks. This could be a bit of a challenge if you lack dexterity. I’m happy to have a car seat the will continue to grown with my little one through the years and provides the ability to keep them rear facing longer.

We bought this seat for our toddler who is growing older now and needed something safer than the Safety 1st seat that lasted us for three years but then its styrofoam broke. However, maybe it's a feature of carseats in general but the harnesses have been a pain, especially to tighten the seat.

I used this convertible car seat with both of my girls from birth to nearly 4 years old. It is easy to take apart and clean as well. We never worried about safety with our babies in this seat.

Being able to rear face for as long as possible has been a goal of mine since pregnancy. Even with the older generation being so pushy about front facing ASAP because “kids get squished” rear facing. Thankfully I have nothing to fear using this car seat. The foot rest extends to give more visible leg room as well as the head rest goes vertical for even more growth. As always installation was an Olympic sport, however it is because Graco makes these things to last and protect.

My 2.5 year old daughter constantly complains that her back hurts while in this car seat. I’ve tried everything to fix the problem, I even tried to make it forward facing instead and she still cries that her back hurts. At this point I’m thinking of getting her a different car seat.. it really sucks considering how pricey this one was. I wish I knew that so many other have tbis issue with this car seat before purchasing.

Alright, I love Graco products but the extend to fit is absolutely horrible. It is impossible to tighten the straps. I thought this was normal until I used a slim to fit and had no troubles tightening the straps. I contacted Graco and they are saying I had the straps positioned wrong in correlation to my child’s shoulders. In fact, I do NOT. No matter what position they are in, I have to use all my strength to tighten the straps. Completely unacceptable and un-safe. Graco will be losing my business due to this!

Contacted Graco Customer Service as the user manual suggests and they say there are no replacement straps available for the Extend2Fit car seat we bought 7 months ago. This is ridiculous, I will tell every new parent I know not to buy Graco.

We love this car seat. It’s the perfect size, not too big and bulky and not too small. We love the versatility and the grow with baby features. Our son seems super comfortable in it. It’s very easy to install and even un-install! Sometimes I feel car seats can be so complicated to remove but this was easy to take out when needed. The safety features on this car seat are unmatched and our son can stay rear facing longer. We love this car seat so much we bought 2. We have not washed ours yet, but it seems easy to take the cushions off and wash which is a plus! Truly no complaints.

We got this for my son (whose 3 now) when he was 3 or 4 months old. The head part is styrofoam and the first one had cracked which graco said it cannot be used. They sent us a new one and it cracked in the same part. The first one I assumed was something g we did wrong but now I’m not so sure since it’s in the same place.

We’ve been using this car seat for about a year now. I really like it and our granddaughter seems quite comfortable in it. The only problem we see with it is that the cupholders are square and round cups don’t fit in them very well. I can’t understand why they would’ve made square cupholders when they don’t make square cups. If you need to take it apart to wash the cover, it is not easy to take apart and reassemble.

The seat itself is fine to install but I am beyond livid at how hard it is to take the cover on and off. I don’t think anyone at graco has any idea at how often you have to clean the cover and it is wayyyy to hard to take off and clean and get back on. You have to completely undo the straps and cram butter knifes to even get the straps in the right spot. The tiny little hooks they give you my fingers can’t even reach and I’m a petite woman. Absolutely furious at how difficult the cover is especially when the older model of the same car seat was wayyy easier. I feel like they went out of their way to make the car seat worse. Thanks graco for making it easy for me to go with a different brand. Also not to mention my kids neck is always cranked forward even when I recline them.

I absolutely hated this car seat. I purchased two of them, one for my car one for my husbands. We had issues from the start, we could not get the harness to release correctly, and it wouldn’t pull tight enough on the baby for the pinch test, I could still get my arm inbetween the baby and the harness. This also happened to one we purchased for our first baby about 3 years ago. I really wanted to like it but it was the worst car seat I’ve ever used

The car seat was just ok. The seat felt extremely deep so my toddler never felt quite secure in it. The seatbelt also would loosen during the rides, it would be tight when we left and then slightly loose when I went to take her out again. The fabric was also just not as soft as others. Also the “extend” feature seems impossible to use as there is no room to slide the foot extension out without leaning her back a ton and she’d be riding essentially lying down. This may be user error but it just didn’t seem functional. She also complained about the straps being uncomfortable which she never did before

Purchased the 2.0 version thinking it was the same car seat that has come highly recommended; however, I have since realized the headrest has been changed between the original and 2.0 models. It is now more curved in and has a smaller space for infants head and shoulders. We have found it nearly impossible to have the harness at or below our child’s shoulders while in rear facing without their shoulders being pressed up right under the headrest or shoved forward and in from being inside the headrest. I’m disappointed in the 2.0 model, as we thought it would be the better version.

Good quality, my son seems very comfy, and I love the high weight limit for rear facing use.

Setup is easy enough (including cupholders - I don't know what people are upset about there. With a little bit of force they click right in). But the straps are IMPOSSIBLE to use on the daily. My son is rear facing and I have to reach to the back of the carseat and pull from there in order to then tighten the strap at his feet. Not at all a smooth process and feels like they're too loose still EVERY time. I don't know how it'll work when he's forward facing since I'd have to wedge my had behind the back of the carseat to do the same routine. We'll see.

The car seat is good but your instructions are bad to say the least and it takes up so much room that the front seat has to be all the way forward to make room for the car seat and I drive a TX5 Cadillac. Not a small car.
