We have this and the infant insert that came with it has the baby laying at like a 45 degree angle, there's no way he could slip out of the sling. My baby was too big for the sling around 10 weeks, but that insert thing is perfect for him now. He loves his baths. I think that insert is the main feature for us, so I'd keep it for that. ... We used the newborn sling like 2 times and our baby hated it. He likes the little seat thing way better. He just chills and kicks his feet.

PSA: Mold can grow inside Fisher-Price 4-in-1 tub
My LO got a terrible rash all of a sudden... We notice mold growing inside the seat! To clarify the plastic sling part is a hard plastic but hollow inside. There is no way to open it. Water had somehow gotten in through a small air hole in the back of the seat and mold was growing. I couldn't get it clean. I soaked it in bleach, I scrubbed with a straw cleaner, pipe cleaner, q-tip, and toothbrush for days and nothing got it clean. ... I threw mine away when I found mold in between the hard plastic layers.
