I have this one, it's the exact same thing. my cousin has the pop n go I have this brand and we compared them. we like the bend river one better... to answer your questions the netting is all the way around the top and comes with an attachable cover. don't get the inflatable mat not worth it but get this instead if you want to. it's machine washable.

Positive recommendation for GEIYATOI playpen as outdoor solution
This is the one we have and it's awesome. So much space, easy up and down. Big enough for multiple kids. We used it to keep chicks in at one point too. I will say it's not the easiest to fold up but there is an art to it. Watch the YouTube video. We originally got a California Beach Co tent and returned it. This is better and less expensive. We kept 6 chickens at the ages of a few days to a few weeks in here.
