I bought my first Radian in 2011. It's been used nearly continuously since then (we have 4 kids). The seat is still going strong. We have 2 others we bought used (2013 models). They've been outstanding seats. I've been very impressed with them.

I HATE installing this seat. I work with people to get car seats installed correctly and this is one of the more difficult seats to install. The seat belt path is tricky. It's heavy and big. The belt often gets caught on the back of the seat.

Diono 3R highback booster seat install in Honda Prologue
I can install it just fine with the latch system. But when using it as a high back booster, the seat belt is nearly impossible to buckle. It does not freely give slack so as soon as you let go, it retracts and makes it nearly impossible to buckle.

I have the Diono Radian 3R. It's great for fitting 3 across in my backseat. We also have a Graco SlimFit3 LX which we like as well. I'd say the install was a pain in the butt but once it's in, it's solid.
