The Toddleroo by North States Supergate Ergo is a 2‑in‑1 child safety gate (baby/pet gate) designed to block doorways, hallways and stairways; it is 26 in tall, made of durable American‑made plastic with a diamond‑lattice mesh panel, and fits openings 26–42 in wide. It installs as a no‑drill pressure‑mounted gate using wall cups or converts to a hardware‑mounted walk‑through swing gate for top‑of‑stair use (pre‑assembled gate, casement and gate hinges, wall cups, tape pads, screws and instructions included). The gate is Baby Safety Alliance/ASTM/JPMA‑certified, must be hardware‑mounted when used at the top of stairs, and pressure mounts can slip on smooth floors if not properly tensioned.

We have the Toddleroo Supergate Ergo and it's been great for our hallway. Pressure mounted, no screws, and it's held up well even with our large dog leaning on it. Only downside is it can slide a bit on our hardwood if not tightened enough.

Ended up going with the Toddleroo Supergate Ergo. It's sturdy, easy to use with one hand, and the pressure mount is solid. Much better than the retractable one we tried which kept sagging.
