We got the DaVinci Kalani mini crib and the conversion kit to turn it into a toddler bed. It worked well in our small nursery. The quality is good for the price. My only hesitation is that the mini crib mattress is smaller, and the toddler bed is still pretty low to the ground and small. If we had more space, I might have just gone with a full-size crib. But it served its purpose for the first 2 years.

I have the DaVinci Autumn crib and it's held up great for 2 kids. I haven't needed the conversion kit yet but I like that it's an option. Solid wood, no issues with chipping or wobbling.
