I have 3 across, using the Diono 3R car seats, all fit perfectly... There's a Diono model that's approved for air travel that folds and isn't awful to carry. We had one, both my son and I loved it... It's got a good steel frame to it, which apparently not all car seats have. It's all also rated to last 10 years or until your child is 120 lbs...

Mixed experiences with Diono Radian 3R's installation and build
I have this car seat, and while it's true that it is difficult to install, I really like it. It's easy to get my kid in and out of the seat, there isn't a bunch of things in the way. It's got a good steel frame to it... It's all also rated to last 10 years or until your child is 120 lbs... Harness is super easy to tighten and release...

Diono Radian recommended for three-across and travel but not for newborns
We have a travel car seat - the diono r3 - and you can buy straps for it that effectively make it into a backpack. We've used it domestically and internationally and it fits on coach seats (front facing) and then you can use it rear facing for the car once you get where you're going... I have three boosters in my ‘24 and it is tight... To get the fit you have to buy special slim seats and I’ll second the mentioned Diono brand.

Frustration with Diono Radian 3R installed rear-facing in a Honda Civic
Very unhappy with Diono car seat as rear facing... It's definitely not a feature I’d normally look for in a car seat for a Civic... For a Civic, I’d probably look at a Graco Extend2Fit. It’s a bit wide but it’s fairly compact front-to-back... Diono is the only one that comes to mind that hasn’t been discontinued yet, but it’s too much of a space hog to use in a side seat in a Civic. It *might* fit in the center... It can be a kinda finicky car seat for installation.

Comfort issues and comparison with Clek in a Honda Prologue
Just received mine. Pro’s It’s significantly less bulky than the Clek Fllo it’s replacing. Very easy to fit 3 car seats in my Model Y... Low profile lower base so it much easier for a kid to climb in by themselves... Con’s No head support. The child’s head will fall over when they go to sleep. Harness straps are really close together cutting into the kids neck... This is not for an infant IMO, you use an infant carrier for that phase.
