Sturdy and easy to install. We were having issues with our old toilet seat constantly having to be tightened down. Also the plastic was beginning to crack underneath the seat. This toilet seat is much sturdier and so far is staying in place with the original install.

Needed to replace and these are exactly like the ones Ryan Homes have installed in their new builds. Wish the glaze over the seat was put on alittle heavier. Starts to rub off over time. But nothing is made like they used to. Recommend them if need identical match.

I bought four of these seats to replace the Ridgewood model seats I bought with the toilets in 2018. The finish was coming off in places on two of the original Ridgewood seats which is a little disappointing given that they were only five years old, but I figured the other two were likely to have the same problem eventually, so I better replace them now before the molded wooden seats were completely discontinued. I refuse to use the plastic seats that come with the toilets.

When we bought this toilet in 2005 it came with a plastic seat which really surprised me. I ordered the new one and love it! The color matches perfectly. What I really love is that it is wood and so solid!!

The charcoal filter does work - I'm not sure about the scents as I can't smell them but it does the job. I don't know if they need to be stronger! We had gotten the new seats when we had to replace our Kohler original toilets from construction and that's when we got the new toilet seats. For my husband, the small plastic connecting plate broke twice so I finally had to replace the complete seat. Because my husband died in January, that toilet is not used much.

Bought the seat without quiet close for $20 less. I’m the only user so doesn’t get closed much. The sturdiness and appearance make it a great value. ordered almond and it looks perfect. Most impressive was the box that had ruler on side to encourage you to measure before unpacking. Box also had window to see if color matched. I just set box on toilet rim and matched screw holes and made sure new seat came to front of toilet. Very easy to install—recommends phillips head screwdriver.

I greatly like the Kohler Stonewood Toilet Seat I bought 11 years ago at a good price at local Home Depot. This molded wood toilet seat was sturdy, and stable (snugged up nicely to the mounting holes by toilet bowl), and it got lots of daily use. Though it's warranted for 1 year, it lasted *11 years* before one of the plastic hinges finally broke. Needless to say I will now order another 4647 seat, though it's only available online now. HD still has the best price.

Our toilet is 32 years old, so it was a little challenging to find an exact color match for our Kohler "biscuit" color toilet. I actually took my old seat into the store to try to get an exact match, but they only had a "biscuit" colored plastic seat on display, seemed to match. However, ordered a compressed wood seat with an enamel coating and the biscuit color in this style was just a tad brighter than the plastic seat on display. This lid is not a quiet close model, but that's okay. We're all trained this stage in life not to slam the seat. I also ordered (online, from a different company) a well researched slim line bidet attachment that works well with this seat and did not require any modifications to the seat itself to keep it level. Now I'm happy! Home Depot nails it every time with their shipping speed too! I ordered this on Wednesday, it arrived on Thursday.

The quality is great. The two seats fit my KOHLER toilets perfectly. But it took a while to get them because of the slowness of the shipping company.

My toilet seat cracked when sat upon. Now there’s a wake up call! Too much weight on it or plastic fatigue? After a trip to the local hardware store I discovered oblong seats in the hard to find category at that location. Easy to order online from Home Depot and pick up at the store. The seat is much better quality than the builder grade seat I replaced and for a very reasonable price. The color is perfect and the heavier seat gave the toilet an upgrade!

Purchased in December online sale. Would purchase again if were on sale. Only one thought, the "scent" is so very mild we cannot tell if it is even working. The light however if just perfect for our visits at night. Overall well made, comfortable, good purchase.
