What size machine bolt will fit through the eye of these anchors?

I live in an area with hard pack dirt and a lot of rock. Is there an alternate anchoring system that would work better in my area?

Do they make this with a longer shaft? Like 5 ft. I use it to anchor my boat lift If it was longer I won't have to get in the water.

Hi, I'm interested using the 30" auger earth anchors and would like to know the pin loop measurements as I may have something fabricated for them. Specifically what is the outer diameter and thickness. Thanks.
Hello Lindsey, The outer diameter is about 1.625”, and the shaft diameter is 0.4375”. If you are going to make a socket fit over the anchor please ensure that is it used manually. The added torque of using an impact driver or something similar can cause the auger to fail. Thank you
My ground is glacial sand with small rocks.....will these anchors go into this type of ground? I’ve had trouble with 12 “ tent pegs, but I’m wondering if the ‘screw’ mechanism would work to push rocks away.
Hello, If you have had trouble with a 12" tent peg its possible you would have trouble with these also however the screw mechanism should help to turn the anchor down easier. Thank you

Are these possible to use in the sand? How long are the "poles?" Do you recommend any other anchoring system for the sand? Will be using our slant leg pop up canopy at the beach with a fair amount of wind. Thank you
Hi Tedd, Yes you can use the auger anchors to anchor into sand. They are approximately 30" long. Another option for anchoring a pop up canopy at the beach would be using our canopy anchor bags. These can be filled with 30lbs of sand or other filler which makes them easy to use at the beach. I have included a link to this product below. What is the load rating for the varies ankers?
Hello, Unfortunately we can not provide a load rating as there are many variables that would affect the load rating such as what type of soil the anchor is being used in.
