Would be lost without it!
Can I buy just the two older sized buffer pads??? The younger pads will go to waste :(
Need to fix refill issue
This thing is great but like others say wish we could get the refills in multipacks of each grit type vs variety pack.
Replacement Pads
No need to sell replacement pads in varying levels of grit. Buying replacement pads to discard 3/4 of them isn't economical or environmentally friendly either. Product works great though
Love but more options please!
Love these but please start to offer them in single got packs. I have no use for the 3 lighter grits so I am effectively spending $10 on one pad.
What a waste.
Irritating that it only comes in the variety pack. I don’t need the first two files since my daughter is 8.5 months so half the pack is a waste. They need to be sold in separate 4 packs by grit so you can buy the ones you actually need.
Need more options on replacement parts
Love these but please start to offer replacement pads in single grit packs. I have no use for the 3 lighter grits so I am constantly spending $10 on one pad. Its very frustrating.
pads wear down supper quick
bought this buffer two months ago and the pads are worn out. not worth the money.
Love this nail buffer but we only need ultra grit
Love the nail buffer, it works amazing! I would have given 5 stars except the only downside is they don’t sell the refills in single grit options. Now that our child is using the ultra gritty sand paper, it wears down quickly. We would like a four pack of just the ultra gritty refills please. We have no need for a complete pack for newborns. Option to purchase just one type of grit would be better.
Beware of replacement head price trap.
Very good product when used with a new pad. Unfortunately, we only have use for the course pad (blue). Once that wore down, we realized we should have purchased another brand because Frida only sells replacement heads in a variety pack. This essentially forces one to pay $10 for one pad!!! Literally, every review on this site voices the same frustration. Yet, the seller shows no intention to offer single color packs to meet customer demand. Either the company is oblivious of their market or they intentionally designed a strategy to gouge their unsuspecting customers. I will be buying a new filer from another company that offers multi same grit packs. Fortunately, there are plenty to chose from.
More individual packs of buffer sizes.
Wish I could buy packs of specific roughness. Hardly used the 0-3, 3-6, 6-9. Used the 12 month since she was like 6 months and it’s used up. Looks like everyone else is getting the same answer. No option for this. Having to purchase a different buffer/electric nail filer. Sad, I really like this one, due to wasting money of buying items I wouldn’t use, probably wouldn’t recommend to a friend or would warn them to get a different one. Which is sad cause it is a great product. Hopefully Frida is working on fixing this. Sounds like they would profit from making this.
Please sell in packs of color.
Please sell them in packs by color. I only need the ultra gritty so the other three will go to waste.
Replacement options limited
It’s very odd to not be able to purchase a set of pads for specific age-range. We don’t need more 0-3, 3-6 etc. why would we only be able to buy a pack that includes those? Disappointed, hope you listen to feedback!
NEED DIFFERENT REPLACEMENT OPTIONS
Great product but as others have mentioned, we NEED an option to purchase a whole pack of the heaviest grit. Absolutely ridiculous they clearly refuse to offer this. Would not recommend to new moms as you will switch to the 12+ month grit around 6-8 months and then you will have to keep purchasing the whole variety pack.
New mom must have!
This is a life saver. It allows for you to trim babies nails quick and easy with out fear of clipping to short or hurting them
Good product, needs a new product line though
The only reason why I give this item four instead of five stars is that the replacement pack contains all four levels of roughness pad when all I need is the 12 month+ pad, or pads if they made a pack of just those (they do not).
Love product, but no need for it after 12 months.
As has been stated, I can't just get 12+ month replacement pads? I don't need the variety because my kid is 18 months now. I'll have to buy a different brand even though I prefer Frida.
Need more purchase options
These are awesome. I'm not sure I trust any other nail buffer product. However, as others have stated, the inability to buy only the replacement grit that you need is wasteful and unnecessary. There has to be another solution that the company can offer that would allow for buying only the grit you need. I spend x amount of dollars just to use one grit and the rest are unusable. You are taking advantage of parents/caretakers by not offering an alternative and that is really unfair to your customers.
Good quality but bad marketing/sales options
The buffer and pads are nicely made, better than some of those generic brands on other sites. But, the pads should be sold in packs and also single grit packs. As others have pointed out, if our kid doesn’t require the less grit pads anymore, we have no choice but to buy the whole variety pack and toss 2 or 3 away. They are also pretty much proprietary. The spindle size is not the same as those generic ones and the hole doesn’t allow you put the generic pads on, forcing you to buy these pads. And because the spindle size is slightly different, you can’t use Fridababy’s pads on other brand tools.
Need packs for each age/grit
Like many others said, they need to offer replacement packs with several of the same file type. My son is 20 months so it is insane to spend $10 for one single pad each time it needs to be replaced and throw out the remaining 3. It’s more cost effective for me to purchase an entirely new file from a different brand that offers multipacks of each file than it is to continue to buy these replacements.
Frida baby is completely overpriced crap
I am literally buying an entire new buffer because you don’t sell them in ultra grit only. Your products are completely over hyped
Replacement pads
My only wish is that you sold them in sets by color/roughness. It’s sad to spend money when 3/4 won’t be used.
Great product-Needs better replacement parts.
Love this product, but for 2 years, people have been asking to get replacement pads individually instead of as a set. How is this still not an option? Now I only need the older/rougher ones replaced, but it feels wasteful to order a whole new set. I would recommend to new moms to look for a similar product but maybe see if another brand has better replacement part options.
Good but wasteful
Great that you can get replacement pads but a waste because you have to get replacements for all different versions. I just wanted one but needed to buy four. Would love to be able to get a pack of just one version.
Stupid buffer replacement options
I love this tool but you can’t just buy 12 month buffer replacement. You have to keep buying the whole set. It’s so stupid.
Waste of money. Do not recommend this brand
Don’t you know babies grow up? It has non sense a pack of the 4 levels when once babies grow up, they don’t need firts levels anymore. Do not recommend this brand for future moms/dads
Who is this for?
Not sure what the point of a replacement set of all of the pads is for. By the time my kid is 6+ months old I don't need some of these anymore, I just need refills of a particular type. If I want to get 4 more medium grit for 6-12 months I have to buy 4 packs of these and throw away the ones for newborns? That's incredibly wasteful. Probably should just have bought a hakaa.
Need an option to buy replacements by grit levels
So frustrating and wasteful that this only comes in a set of all of the grit levels. If this came in a pack that allowed buying the age appropriate grit levels separately it would be great, but it doesn’t.

Discussion on buffer pad longevity and replacement frequency
The replacement pads are a must have, but they wear down fast. I go through one every 3-4 weeks with weekly use. They're not cheap either. Some people say the off-brand ones don't fit as well.

Troubleshooting common issues with the Frida nail buffer
I love how safe it is for my newborn, but I'm having trouble getting it to actually file the nail. It seems like the pad doesn't touch the nail properly. But others say it works perfectly for them. The LED light is a nice touch.

Electric nail files as registry essentials and general recommendations
I registered for the Frida one and it's been a lifesaver. No more accidental cuts. My baby doesn't mind it at all. Highly recommend for anxious first-time parents.

Comparison between Frida and Momcozy nail care products
I have both Frida and Momcozy. I actually prefer Momcozy because the replacement heads are cheaper and seem to last longer. Frida's case is nicer though, and the LED is handy.

Discussion on whether electric nail files are worth it for multiples
Worth every penny when you have twins. I used the Haakaa at first but switched to Frida because it was gentler. The replacement pads are the only downside—they dull faster than I'd like. I bought a multi-pack on Amazon to save.
