Gave it as a gift and my godson love this! Brings its with him in the car and pretends to drive as well!

I was surprised by how easily a one year old could manipulate and enjoy the dashboard.

Our toddlers love the variety of moving parts and sounds. I would like to hear 4 complete songs instead of just snippets. I'd also like more than 1 GPS route to follow.

It is perfect for a 3 yr old little boy. He plays with it constantly. I had purchased your ice cream parlor earlier and he loves it so much he sleeps with it.

Purchased for a 3-year old. He loved it! And the 5 and 6-year old couldn't keep their hands off it. A big hit all around.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She is 20 months and LOVES cars, and loves to pretend to drive the cars in Nana and Papa's garage. I was hoping this would be a toy to entertain her with all it's buttons and sounds, and hope she will still love it in the next couple years as she better understands everything this toy has to offer. She loves it, and wants to play with it each time she goes to Nana and Papa's. (Which is 2-3 times a week, while mom and dad work.)

My son received this for Christmas and it worked until we needed to replace the battery. New batteries and it still doesn’t work. Seems to be a common issue. Too bad company won’t do anything about it.

I gave this to my two year old granddaughter for her birthday. She was super excited to 'open in' after tearing the birthday wrap off. Unfortunately, the 'to empty' timer broke within a day and the strap attached to the ignition key broke within a day. I think the ignition sound is good, but the radio music is too loud. Haha spoken like a grandma who doesn't turn her car radio on loudly. I too feel it would be nice to have more than one GPS route to steer on. Other than being a little pricy for what you get, the ordering process was great and it was shipped timely and accurately as well.

I want to buy again, grandson loves it but it won't work anymore! Replaced batteries & still won't work. I'm torn!

Kids love this. It really is fun for them. However the horn never worked. I asked my daughter after realizing it myself and she told me it never worked. Everything seems to work fine. Cute toy!

It worked for 10 min. Then it stopped working. I replaced the batteries, and then it worked for another minute. My 2 yo son was super excited, then I had to explain to him that it's broken. What's going on, Melissa and Doug? I can't trust your brand any more.

My 3 year old son got this toy as a gift and was so excited! He loves to sit in a big suitcase we have with a fake steering wheel (a bucket) and pretends to drive all over the place so this looked like the perfect gift for him. He quickly got himself all situated in his new ride (the suitcase) and was having a blast joy riding for about 30 minutes before the components started to fail on him. He couldn't get the radio to turn on which frustrated him but he could still drive safely so he continued on his way. A car pulled out in front of him though and the horn failed to work so he had to swerve to miss them and nearly lost control of the vehicle. He really started to get concerned about the safety at this point thinking there must be something wrong with the computer or wiring. About this time he was a couple towns over and the GPS failed so he had no idea where he was or how to get back home. He had to pull over to try use the phone and call for help but it wasn't working either! Fortunately, he was able to find a service station by asking some friendly locals for directions. They replaced his battery but the car still wasn't working properly. He was able to borrow their phone to call AAA and get a tow back to the house. You should've seen his face, he was so bummed having to park his brand new ride in the corner of the yard by the old shed. He still likes to sit out in his car though and imagine he's going places but we still haven't been able to figure out the problem. We've had Dad and Papaw check it out and they're stumped too. I found a Paw Patrol version I'm thinking of surprising him with and we're hoping it works better than this car. We're absolutely obsessed with everything Melissa & Doug, I suppose this time we were just unlucky and got a lemon. Drive careful guys and maybe make sure you keep all the packaging and receipts for this ride if you're thinking of buying one.

My 4 year old was given this for her birthday from a great aunt after hearing her talk about it almost nonstop a few months ago. Our daughter ran to play with it in every store that had it for sale. But when she opened the package and started to take us all for an imaginary "drive," it worked. The next day, it completely stopped turning on. Most details seem to require the dashboard to turn on. Our daughter is broken-hearted about this. We changed batteries, reread directions, all with no luck. Since the boxes had been recycled by the next day, and since we have no idea where it was purchased, we are stuck with a broken toy instead of the fun pretend driving toy our girl had hoped for. Such a disappointment.

My child's grandma got this toy our daughter for her birthday. The sounds doesn't work. We was so disappointed. To pay this amount of money and the toy doesn't even play sound. We couldn't return it because we got it as a gift.

Returned it after a week, everything kept breaking on it. This toy was a total disappointment...AVOID by ALL MEANS !!!

Bought this car dashboard for our grandson this past Christmas and he loves it. Plays with it every day. It's a wonderful toy of good quality, but some of the buttons stopped working after 2.5 months (the radio buttons, which he loved). Not sure if there is anything we can do if other buttons fail to work (open it up and check for dust on connections). Still love the toy, but wish everything was working.

My son is autistic and is currently obsessed with cars so this was the perfect toy to get him. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues. The first issue was, we couldn't get the battery cover to open, the screw just wouldn't come out so I had to pry it open and broke the cover. Everything worked fine until the next day and the starter and navigation stopped working. I love the idea behind the toy but I'm very disappointed that not all parts work, especially the best part of the toy.

My 2 year old daughter loves everything about this toy and I'm very glad I bought it. However, the only reason I can't give this five stars is because the screw to open the battery case is so small and hard to open - so much so that I considered returning the toy. After trying two or three different sized screwdrivers we finally dug up an old tiny one from a glasses repair kit and that opened it up. I also oiled the screw a little to see if it would loosen up, since it seemed to be stuck and wouldn't budge initially. It would have been nice if a screwdriver was included that fit the screw or else maybe consider making the screw larger. Other than that, the sounds and features are just what I was hoping for.

Is there a catch my son opened up for Christmas and then it don't work put batteries on and nothing

This toy was a huge hit for Christmas and my kids love it. Unfortunately after a few months I thought the battery died but new batteries did not turn it back on. I'm not sure how to tell my kids it is broken (and not just dead batteries) because I know they will be so upset! I don't want to replace it at that $$ especially if it could just randomly break again. Otherwise this toy rocks. I don't think my kids were especially rough with this but who knows.

My son got this toy last year for Christmas. He loves it and the road stopped moving. He wad just starting to use it in his own.

Great toy, my son loves it! The only thing I would say is "bad" (in review terms,Good vs Bad) is the steering wheel has maybe an 1/8 in amount of play in it, but it's a toy so you're supposed to "play" with it! xD Still a very sturdy toy, I definitely recommend it!

Everyone loves it from my 10 month old to my teenagers. The GPS is awesome! Great Quality toy!

He just became a big brother to 2 month old sister , it's winter and no daycare is open , too cold outside and mom busy with new born, so my daughter was concerned about too many movies and screen time in general This was just perfect He goes for this every day ! If your child is obsessed with cars like mine is, don't even think twice about purchasing this toy... Just buy it. I thought at first this was expensive, but once we opened it and played with it, I quickly realized this was a worthwhile investment. So many little details, just like a real car, that kept my son entertained and happy.

Our little loves this toy!! It's so realistic!! All the buttons, knobs, and sliding doors have a realist function with realistic sounds. So fun fun to watch our little enjoy this so mush!!

Bought the toy for my 3 year old but my 1 and 5 year old have enjoyed it as well. I enjoy that it's not too loud and that my 3 year old carries it around the house to play. I gave it one less star because the timer broke easily since my 3 year old turned the dial too much.

It was great and engaging as my grand daughter often referred to my car and driving when she was engaged with the Vroom & Zoom!

Can't get GPS to work. Grandson isn't interested in playing with it . It doesn't do anything to keep kids interested.

I just bought this for my nephew's birthday, and opened it to put batteries in to test it. "GPS" feature doesn't work. He probably won't notice, but still. I was going to replace it, but after reading the reviews, I am worried I would get one in worse shape. This was at the top of my budget so it is disappointing to not have it fully functioning. I agree with another review that the battery screw is too small, and even with the correct size driver, the screw stripped quickly. I would recommend if it worked as it should, but for the price I wouldn't , considering these issues. He has MANY Melissa & Doug toys, so I was very surprised by the issues.

The four "radio station" buttons do not play any music. There is no reaction at all when you press it. All the other buttons work except those four. The car key is also very difficult to remove. There is no anti-slippery pad on the bottom so it slips around on wooden floor. Lastly and the most disappointed feature, the "gas swivel" opens up to reveal a hole where the wood isn't filed down and there are many splinters inside. I really want to love it, but why did I buy a toy that doesn't fully work? Why did Melissa & Doug not quality check it and make sure it's safe?

I bought this item for my grandson at Christmas. He absolutely loved it until it stopped working. I seems as though there is a short in the connection. Sometimes it will start when the key is turned but other times it will light up briefly but never start. I first sent an email to the company on January 17th but have received no response. I have purchased many Melissa & Doug products and have always been pleased with the quality, so not being able to resolve this issue quickly has been very disappointing.

My 3 yr old granddaughter loves this. Realistic sounds, well made. Truth be told all the neighborhood kids love it including the teenagers!

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it! Keeps asking to play with it. Highly recommend it.

We gave this to our two year old for Christmas, he loves to drive. Sadly the gps does not scroll and the engine sound only plays when turning the ignition to on. We hoped changing the batteries would fix gps but it did not.

My son is only 14 months but loves this toy- while he doesn't understand the concept of driving along the road, he can play with the wheel and work all of the buttons and loves it.

I bought this vroom & zoom interactive dashboard car toy when my son was 2 y/o and he is now 41/2 and he still LOVES playing with it!!

I never received it. I tried several times to resolve the wrong address. Nor did I teceive a refund .

I purchased 2 of these for my daycare. Within several weeks most of the plastic moving pieces had snapped off or no longer worked. I was very disappointed because these are ver expensive items and are supposed to hold up under normal wear and tear.

We received this as a gift for our boys (now 1.5) and they have loved it!! Seemed the batteries were dying so we changed them .. and now it doesn’t work at all. Looks like the common issue with this.

I bought these for my two 3 year old grandsons. What a tremendous hit! It grabbed their attention immediately, and they have been having so much fun with all the features...from the horn to the turn signals, the music, the GPS, etc. I think this would be great for a wide age range of children. You can never go wrong with Melissa & Doug. They are such well made products that never fail to please!

My mother in law bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. The timer button for the gas broke the first time he twisted it (it popped up and I have to keep pushing it down)and none of the lights, or anything operated by batteries, are not working at all. I've tried multiple batteries hoping that it would be defective batteries but it won't work. My son still loves it and has been playing with it now for over an hour but he keeps asking why the lights won't work. Hopefully we can get a replacement that works because I love Melissa and Doug toys and it is all I buy for my son, hopefully this one was just a fluke.
