Absolutely love this car seat! I bought a safety first one with my first son and it wasn't very sturdy this one is soooo much better I feel confident my newborn will be safe in this one. It is also very light weight and easy to carry... This is my second Graco infant car seat and I'm always pleased with the quality and price.

Base installation issues and eventual transition to convertible seat
I have a graco snug ride 30 lite with the outpace LX stroller travel system. Car seat clicks right into stroller… I have a graco 4ever dlx 4 in 1 for when she grows out of her infant seat. … The seat is great, the base is meh. … This is my third child, and I have bought one of these for each. The base on this one is different and I don't like it as it does not securely snuggly like the previous years did. Luckily I kept the bases for the other ones, especially the one from like 3 years ago that has a bar that locks in place over the seat belt. Please go back to that design.

I feel like this is a very good car seat, but I don't like the inner headpiece. My baby's head tends to fall over. Other than that, it was very easy to install and very lightweight. … [The base] does not securely snuggly like the previous years did. … This is actually the third infant seat of this brand and type I have bought, clearly a go to item for our large family! Definitely recommend!

Easy to clip and unclip, but baby may outgrow infant seat quickly
I have a graco snugride 35 lite that I am finding very easy to clip and unclip from its anchor for an infant seat but will transition to a peg perrego infant to tot one that doesn’t come in and out of the car soon as baby is a chonk and I much prefer taking the stroller into the store than hauling around the heavy seat … Keep in mind you really might not use the infant seat for very long. My baby boy was 16 lbs at 4 months and it just got too heavy to carry inside.
