Great for travel and uneven terrain

Sasha W.

I was looking for a stroller that was great for travel, not just getting through the airport but actually usable at the destination. This stroller is perfect for asphalt, uneven sidewalks, and short grass. Folds small enough for standard overhead bin. I love the sleep and luxurious finish.

absolutely love it! great quality

Alyssa B.

absolutely love it! great quality and compact.

Great travel stroller

Fengji L.

Glides very smoothly and have a pretty smart fold. A bit on the heavier side compared to some other travel strollers but have creature comforts other ones don't offer like lay flat and bassinet mode.

Excellent compact and everyday stroller!

Lauren V.

Surprisingly Smooth ride with this stroller! It folds easily, not a lot of compact strollers are newborn compatible so this is such a great option if you just want one stroller from the beginning. There is great cushion of baby. We are excited to take it on our first trip?

We really like our new stroller!

Awesome purchase

Erica K.

This stroller has been amazing so far, it has all the features we could ever want. The quality envies our all terrain stroller even though this is 1/5 the price! We used this in the pouring rain as well and our baby stayed nice and dry. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent compact stroller

Madison W.

I love this for city use. It is comfortable for me and my baby. It folds to be very compact which is perfect for condo living.

Have been using the stroller for a month now and some things I have noticed: Likes: - cushy seat for baby - smooth push overall - magnetic buckle is so convenient (deluxe version) - tall handlebar (I am almost 6 ft) - fold/unfold less sticky than I thought it would be given other reviews Dislike...

I was bamboozled

Kirbie

I researched travel strollers for weeks and I cannot believe I was convinced that this stroller would be worth the money. The shoulder straps do not stay in place once adjusted to my child’s height and the crotch strap is oddly short. The seat lacks adequate support and structure, so my child contin...

Came defective!

Emily P.

I was super disappointed about this purchase. After meticulously researching travel strollers, I landed on this one because it had all the features I wanted and had decent reviews. However, when the items finally made it to us, it was defective straight out of the box. Any time any pressure was put ...

Great stuff!

Melissa

Had a Metro+ Deluxe and ended up getting the Metro 3 Deluxe as well. Was a little skeptical because I don't like change but the new version is great! Love the longer seat that fits my 2 year old so much better. Its so plush and comfortable. The only thing I don't like about it is that it feels a bit...

Great and sturdy stroller. I

Nadia P.

Great and sturdy stroller. I find opening it to be a bit of a learning curve, but closing it is really easy. Love how compact it is, but it is on the heavier side for travel strollers. I bought the deluxe for the long carrying strap, but found that the strap is too short to be really effective. The ...

Good quality but disappointed about delivery

MM

Cheap for a stroller that can be used full flat from newborns. Easy to open and fold and I’m looking forward to take it onto the flights to the gate which is helpful. However the notification of shipment suggested me to download and sign into a “shop” app with a tracking number that said UPS but it ...

So far, 10/10

Kimberly C.

We purchased this stroller to upgrade our existing travel stroller from Joolz which we also loved but didn’t feel cost effective. This ergobaby stroller has so many more great features, feels sturdy, has plenty of storage and lays flat. We love it and have no issues. Super light and look forward to ...

Lifetime Warranty?

Mercedes B.

The handlebar broke, it's split right down the middle. How can this happen with a lifetime warranty? This is the third chair I've used, and the only one that hasn't lasted even half a child. I had an Uppababy Vista that I gave to friends, and it's still going strong after 6 kids. Even the frail LIbe...

Reddit users highly recommend the Ergobaby Metro 3 Deluxe for its compact travel-friendly design, premium feel, and one-hand fold, though tall parents should be cautious of the low rear bar.

Overall feedback is predominantly positive, with users praising its compactness, smooth ride, and quality materials. Many have successfully used it as a travel or everyday stroller. Criticisms are limited to a few recurring issues: brake sticking, the low bar interfering with tall users, and some difficulty unfolding. These are not deal-breakers for most, but notable.

Community Q&A

Is the Meto 3 Deluxe worth the extra cost over the regular Meto 3?
Yes, most users find the Deluxe extras like the built-in shoulder strap, premium materials, and bigger basket well worth the additional cost, especially for frequent travel.
Is the one-hand fold actually easy to use?
The fold is generally easy to close one-handed, but unfolding requires a firm fling and may take practice. Most users adapt quickly.
Can the Meto 3 be used as an everyday stroller?
Absolutely. Many users have replaced their larger strollers and use the Meto 3 for daily errands and outings, keeping it in the car for convenience.
How is the basket size on the Meto 3?
The basket is improved from older models and fits a standard diaper bag, but it may still be tight for extensive shopping trips. It's adequate for quick errands.
Is the stroller suitable for tall parents?
Tall parents (over 6') often complain about kicking a low bar between the rear wheels. The adjustable handle helps, but the bar placement can make walking uncomfortable for those with long legs.

Compared To

vs Bugaboo Butterfly

The Meto 3 offers a larger basket, bigger wheels, smoother ride, and better price, making it better for city outings. The Butterfly is more compact for travel but less stable and has a smaller canopy.

vs Uppababy Minu V3

The Meto 3 Deluxe competes with the Minu on premium features while offering a lower price. The Minu may have a slightly easier fold, but the Meto includes more accessories and has better value. Some users report Minu wheel noise.

vs Uppababy Cruz V2

The Cruz is often used as a primary stroller, but many switch to the Meto 3 as an everyday option because it's much lighter and more compact for car and travel. The Meto 3 is seen as a great complement or replacement for the bulky Cruz.

vs Joolz Aer

The Joolz Aer has excellent suspension but is significantly more expensive. The Meto 3 Deluxe offers a more affordable compact stroller with good suspension and premium features.

  • User compares Metro 3 to Metro+ and Bugaboo Butterfly, highlighting compactness, fold, and premium feel

SocialStigma29: 'I have the metro+ as my travel stroller. It is super compact (fits in the backseat footwell of our sedan) and maneuvers well.' jjc299: 'I think metro 3 is a one hand fold and has a bigger basket if that’s important to you.' AuthorDouble6976: 'I ended up returning and buying the Metro 3 and I'm really happy I did. The drive is smoother, the fold/unfold is also easier, and the materials feel much more luxe.' sparklingwine5151: 'I’ve heard really good things about the ErgoBaby Metro. The Butterfly is great as a travel stroller when compactness is a high priority but if you’re going to be using your stroller more for city outings I would go for the ErgoBaby given its larger basket, larger wheels (smoother ride) and better price.'

  • User shares everyday use experience with Metro 3 and details about the Deluxe model

Solid-Falcon488: 'We’ve been using the metro 3 as our every day stroller now and we just took it to Los Cabos for holiday. AirCanada allowed us to put in the over head, it was so amazing on holiday. We also have Uppababy Cruz V2 as well which is too big for us.' slicerad1: 'The Metro 3 Deluxe is coming out the end of the month. Looking at the YouTube videos it looks like they added the best of the metro 3 and minu v3. More premium materials, included accessories, a carry handle, and a bigger basket. We probably going to get this after it comes out.'

  • Positive everyday use for errands and travel, but returns due to low bar issue for tall parents

silentsuccess: 'I have the Metro3 and really love it. It’s the stroller I keep in the car for errands, and we’ve also travelled with it. It worked well from when my baby was quite small as it lies flat.' medlibrarian: 'I ordered the deluxe version and loved everything about it except one thing... It has a low bar that runs between the wheels along the backside of the basket. I guess I walk quite close to the stroller as I push and, paired with long legs, I found every single step I took my foot kicked the bar and it drove me nuts. If not for that, I would have kept it. It’s a really nicely made stroller. I did find unfolding a bit clunky, you really have to fling it.'

  • User confirms Metro 3 Deluxe extras are worthwhile, especially the shoulder strap for travel

Mipset: 'We got the deluxe version! the extras are well worth it. Even just the built in shoulder strap is very handy if you intend to travel with it as it keeps your hands free.' And also commented: 'Looking at the Minu v3, it doesn't appear to come with any accessories listed. We were interested in the Minu but again it's lack of accessories for it's price point made it hard to justify versus Aer+ or the ergo deluxe.'

  • User recommends Metro 3 over older versions for better suspension on cobbles, especially for travel

fancycakelover: 'With the amount of cobbles you will encounter in Italy you need something with good suspension. It was as good as non existent on the metro plus so if it's ergobaby you are keen on you should definitely consider the metro 3 over the older versions. Joolz aer also has great suspension but is also too expensive for a compact stroller IMO.'

  • User reviews Metro3 features: one-hand fold, compact size, premium materials, and adjustable handle

Solid-Falcon488: 'I ordered the Metro3 and have been using it for 2 weeks and I love it. I was using a Uppababy Cruz V2 before which was a great quality stroller but way too big and clunky. ... one handed open/close + one handed steering, very compact fits easily in my trunk, very high quality feel and materials, the seat is and straps are super padded, lie flat seats for nap and diaper change, extra extended canopy, basket fits my diaper bag (I have the Lululemon New Parent backpack), adjustable handle.'
