Mattress concerns and pet-proofing with Karley Bassinet
I have this bassinet and really like it. The mattress is really thin and hard, but it is safe. My baby actually sleeps better on it than the Halo. I have two large dogs and a cat so I love the zipper canopy to keep the cat out. I don't love the zipper noise though, I feel like it wakes the baby sometimes. I use sheets from Amazon that fit perfect.

Recommendation for budget-friendly Karley Bassinet
I got the dream on me Karley bassinet off Amazon for $49.99 and love it. Super lightweight, easy to move from room to room. I have the halo swivel as well but the baby wouldn't sleep in it and I also didn't like that I couldn't see my baby through the mesh. The Halo has a thicker mattress but the Karley is just as safe.

Sheet sizing for Karley Bassinet mattress
I got the Dream on me Karley bassinet. The mattress it comes with is very thin, but bassinet mattresses are supposed to be thin for safety. I got extra fitted sheets from Amazon, the ones that are 32 inches long x 16 inches wide x 4 inches deep work well.

Love for Karley Bassinet's portability and value
I love the Dream on Me Karley bassinet. It is very lightweight so I can carry it around the house easily. It folds flat for travel. It's also very affordable. I would definitely recommend it.

Safety warning: zippered canopy and folding risk
We got the Dream on Me Karley Bassinet and overall it's good for the price, but I found that unless the canopy is completely zipped, it can start to fold down on the baby. That scared me. I now keep it fully zipped at all times. Also excellent for keeping pets out. I got the cool grey color and it looks nice.
