Soothing capabilities praised for fussy baby
My baby loves it. When I put him down for a nap I put the setting on 1 or 2 keeps him down for a little bit... The lights cause be a bit much some times so if they end up like looking at one thing just face it towards them and they're happy.
Fix for motor not swinging
Weak batteries cause erratic product operation, including distorted sound, dimming or failed lights, and slow or non-working motorized parts... I took the current one apart to see if there were any visible problems... All I did was make sure that the connection was tight, which it wasn't.
Honest review highlights pros and cons
This swing is amazing for the price! The lights and mobile keep my baby distracted while I finish a chore... It has musical songs and nature noises to keep him calm... The different speeds for the swing keep him happy depending on his mood.
Recommended as a play seat/swing option
We have the ingenuity inlighten swing (van the elephant) and my daughter loves it. The mobile with the lights keeps her entertained, and the different swing directions are nice. It's also pretty quiet.
Faulty motor and poor customer support
After reading numerous reviews that it either stopped or wouldn't work right out of the box I still took a chance... put it together plug it in and it wont power on or do anything... contacted customer service and they seem like they're going to resolve the issue... if the next one they send dont work ill get the graco simple sway instead.
