My wife and I traveled for years before we had our child. We were planning a trip to Spain, and read online that they were super strict about children being in a car seat. So we bought the Pico and took off.  When we landed in Madrid, we stood in line for a taxi.  One pulled up, got out of the car and started to walk back towards the trunk. When he saw my child, he said, \"Sorry.  I can't take you.  No car seat.\"  I couldn't believe that on the very first leg of the flight, the internet was right.  So I quickly explained to him that within my backpack was the Pico.  He said, 'ok', and we took off.\nDuring the drive to the hotel, he kept looking back and was so impressed with it.  He asked me what the brand way.  And of course, while driving, he Googled it.  We had two more instances of people unwilling to pick us up in Spain, before they saw we had our own car seat.\nSince Spain, we've used it all over the US, and it's saved us a ton of money in renting a car seat alongside our car rental.  And all the airlines ship the car seats for free, so it's been a very easy transition for us.  And most of all, our child feels very comfortable in it.
