Safety 1st Grand 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat (Black Sky)

We purchased 3 of these and removed the cupholders to use the 3-wide feature for our children in our 2012 Town n Country Minivan. Unfortunately the 3 carseats do NOT fit side by side, there is a 2-3 inch overlap that prevents them from fitting so we could not use them. Our car has captain chairs in the middle so we must use the back row which is more narrow than the middle row. The car seat itself was very light, sturdy, straight, and nice coral color. The padding was minimal but adequate and our children did like the look of the seat.

My child is just about to turn to a forward facing car seat and this is a seat they can grow with. We were pleasantly surprised how lightweight and comfortable this seat is for our toddler. Our family will be flying internationally later this year and with the harness system the seat is FAA compliant, which combined with it's light weight will be great for our (by then) 3 year old. We love that the fabric and cup holders are removable for washing. Overall a great and reasonably priced product.

We love safety first. We have two brands of car seats between our two vehicles and I love them both but I will say Safety first is much easier to clean, much lighter, and their customer service is amazing. As for this specific booster- it's SO LIGHT! This is a big plus for us because we have 3 kids and end up having to move them and clean the seats a ton. Looking forward to getting our boys out of a bulky seat and into this when they get a bit bigger

Nice color selection. My first time using a car seat, so it took a while to understand how to setup on my car. Once you know, in the future it is a breeze. The manual could have been better-written, but good enough for me to understand after a few flips. Once secured, it won't move more than an inch. The bottom padding could have been thicker, but my daughter is not complaining. The 2 cup holders are convenient.

This Grand Booster is great and so easy to move and install from one vehicle to another. I love that it is a 2-in-1 and will grow with my child so I am not having to buy another seat! The fabric also doesn't seem to get as hot as others, which is nice when you live in a warm state. So far my child has enjoyed riding in it especially having a snack and drink with the two cup holders!

Love this. Our 5 yr old granddaughter said that is was not a hard seat. Felt comfy. The cup holders hold her thermos securely. It's not so shallow that it flops around at all. Also, it is easy to pull the strap to tighten up once our granddaughter is in the seat. I Love the coral color. I bought two for both of our grandkids. Our other is 2.5 yrs old.

This is a great booster seat! It's very easy to install, lightweight, and looks very sleek. We installed it in a Ford Expedition and had no issues. The seat seems sturdy and comfortable. My only complaint is that the cupholders are a little shallow. Overall, this is a good seat and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

This is our third safety first car seat, we started with the infant car seat travel system when she was born and then moved to the convertible to continue rear-facing. Now that she's gotten bigger this is a perfect transition from the convertible seat. Love that it has a 5-point harness or can be used with a seatbelt.

Perfect booster seat. Super light weight but heavy duty. Installed like a dream and fit great in my small car! I have a taller child that sits in it and he says it's "very comfy". Cup holders fit most of the sippy cups for the car too! We will probably end up buying another for our second vehicle!

I love that it's lightweight, has a harness & good head protection. The black harness buckle is tricky, as you have to push & slide, so I struggled a bit at first. The adjustment lever underneath the seat is also a bit tricky, but I'm still learning!!

This car seat/booster is a lifesaver. Very lightweight and easy to install. Love that as my child grows we can convert it to a high back booster seat. Secures child very well and will serve us for many years.

I love how lightweight this seat is! It was so easy to install and I was able to fit it and my infants car seat in with plenty of room for an adult passenger to sit between them comfortably.

The straps are the main issue. In order to be secure enough they feel tight because there's no cushion, the straps are harder than other car seats we've had.

My friends all have young children and and trust Safety1st so my husband just ordered next size up car seat for my Great Grandbaby more babys coming

My favorite thing about the car seat is how light weight it is and easy to carry. It's also easy to install making it very functional transferring it between our vehicles. Since it's so lightweight, it doesn't feel like it has a ton of thick padding, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind at all. She says it's very comfortable and was excited to sit in it! I also love how simple it is to wash. I can throw the cover right into the wash. The straps are easily adjustable, and I love how it can be used both with a five seat harness and high back booster. The measurements for the minimum and maximum requirements for both types of seat positioning are on the first page of manuel making it really simple to find. I also found the directions easy to read for safe seat adjustments for my child.

Affordable and sturdy seat. Once you learn once how to set it up, in the future it is a breeze. It took me about 30mins to figure out; the manual could have been better. Bottom padding would be better if it is thicker, but my 4 year old does not complain. The 2 cup holders are very convenient. Seat does not move once secured, or less than an inch. I was pretty excited to receive this car seat as an extra to use when I fly home so I don't have to check my daughters car seat and risk it getting lost or damaged. There isn't a whole lot of padding compared to Graco, which I've noticed is kind of common in the Safety 1st brand. Came to me in the mail SUPER quick as well. Overall super pleased to have this as an extra!

We received this carseat to test out and ended up falling in love! it so lightweight and easy for travel. With two boys and two cars it can be a pain having to move carseats. we are now actually looking to get a second one of these for our older son so each boy with have one! It even fit great in our Mustangs bucket seats!

very lightweight, but feels sturdy and safe. Tall enough for my (already super tall for his age) son to grow into. Made from a nice material that is easy to clean and vacuum. Very quick to install and switch between vehicles. Over all a very nice car seat that my son can use for a long time.

The reason that I gave the seat a 3 star rating is because the colors are difficult to tell in the pictures and when we got the seat it was not what I was expecting. But it is easy to install and seems to be good quality. Thanks, Mike

I'm so impressed with how lightweight this seat is! If you're on the small side like I am you'll have no problem moving this seat around if you need to! The material is comfortable and fairly easy to clean which is a huge plus for me.

This car seat is GREAT if you need to fit 3 across in the back of your car! It's not bulky at all. The cup holders are great and my 3 year old approves! It's light weight, easy to install and overall a great car seat!

This car seat is so light weight and comfy. I had no problem installing in on my own. I was able to fit it comfortably between two other car seats. Perfect for my three year old.

Bought this for my great granddaughter. The color is perfect. It’s easy to handle. Easy to install. The only con is the pillow will not stay on, the small tabs will not stay in the slots. There has to be a a way to attach so they will stay adhered to the seat cover. The cup holders work perfectly.

I received the Grand 2-in-1 and was immediately impressed. It's lightweight, well made & looks great. It's not overly bulky and could easily fit up to 3 in most vehicles. The cup holders are easily accessible for any size kiddo & the padding on each side of the head makes for a comfortable ride. It's perfect for my 6 year old to use now as a booster and then can be saved to use with the 5 point harness for my younger son. Overall, I'm definitely pleased with it!

Bought a new to me car. But had to get smaller seats for all kids. Took a chance on these and I’m happy to have found them. Very light weight. The head support thing falls off easily though
