New Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend ‘n Ride LX All-in-One Car Seat (Winehouse)
The Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend 'n Ride LX is a 3-in-1 convertible car seat that transitions from rear-facing (5–40 lbs, up to 40 inches) to forward-facing (30–65 lbs) and to a belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs). It features a ComfortPlus footrest that provides up to 7 inches of additional legroom in rear-facing mode, a QuickFit harness system for simultaneous headrest and harness adjustment, and a removable, machine-washable seat pad. While parents often praise the extended legroom and budget-friendly price, some report that installation can be challenging and harness adjustment less smooth than comparable models.

Specifications
All-in-one convertible car seat that grows with your child from infant to big kid, featuring ComfortPlus footrest and QuickFit harness.
This all-in-one convertible car seat is built to grow through 3 stages: rear-facing (5–40 lbs., 19"–40"), forward-facing (30–65 lbs., 34.4"–49"), and belt-positioning booster seat (40–100 lbs., 43.4"–52"). ComfortPlus footrest works in all 3 modes and provides up to 7" of additional leg room in rear-facing mode. For toddlers sitting forward-facing, the ComfortPlus footrest helps kids sit more comfortably and supports shorter, dangling legs. For big kids, ComfortPlus lowers down to act as a comfortable footrest or a place to easily step up into the seat. Machine-washable and dryer-safe seat pad is removable. Two removable, dishwasher-safe cupholders—one fits a two-handle sippy cup as well as snacks. QuickFit harness for easy adjustment of both harness and headrest in one step. 5-point harness with up front adjustment. 3-position recline. Engineered and tested to meet or exceed federal safety standards. Meets federal Side Impact standard.

Mixed user experiences with Safety 1st All-in-One: value vs. comfort and installation
I have the Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend 'n Ride LX. I love the footrest and the legroom for rear-facing. My 3yo seems very comfortable. But the install is not super easy and the harness adjuster is a pain. It's a good seat for the price though.

Choosing between Safety 1st and rotating seats; budget-friendly but concerns about ease of use
I got the Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend 'n Ride LX for my mom's car. It's a great budget option. The footrest is nice. But I wouldn't want it as my primary seat; the straps feel cheap and it's harder to tighten than our Graco.

Recommendation for extended rear-facing comfort due to footrest
We have the Safety 1st Extend 'n Ride and my tall 3yo still rear-faces with plenty of legroom thanks to the pull-out panel. He doesn't complain about his legs being squished like in our other seat.

Installation struggles and consideration of rotating alternative
I have the Safety 1st all-in-one and I hate the install. It's so heavy and the LATCH connectors are awful. I'm looking at the Turn and Go 360 just for the swivel to make loading easier.
