ADOVEL bassinet/pack and play discussion in NewParents
We have the ADOVEL one. It’s been great for the price. The mattress is pretty firm, which is good for safe sleep, but we ended up putting a folded blanket under the sheet to soften it a bit. Also, standard bassinet sheets don’t fit—we had to get travel crib sheets.

Review of ADOVEL bassinet in SetupReviews
I bought the ADOVEL bedside sleeper and it’s worth the money. Assembly took me 15 mins. The mesh sides are see-through and it adjusts to bed height. Only downsides: the mattress is like a rock, and the changing table attachment feels flimsy. But for a budget option, it does the job.

Choosing between pack and play/bassinet in Buyingforbaby
I got the ADOVEL bassinet/pack and play combo. It’s compact, easy to move, and the drop-side is handy post c-section. Mattress is hard but we bought a 40.5x27 pad from Amazon that fits ok with a gap. Sheets are a pain—use 42x24 travel crib sheets.

Using a pack and play as bedside sleeper in BabyBumpsCanada
We used a pack and play with the side zippered down as a bedside sleeper and it worked perfectly. Not specifically ADOVEL but same concept—just make sure it has mesh sides and a firm mattress. Saved us from buying a separate bassinet.
