We have the first years sure comfort tub. It has a hammock for the newborn stage and then a side for reclining and a side for sitting up. I love that it fits in my kitchen sink so I don't kill my back leaning over the tub. We plan to use it until she's holding herself up confidently, which she's starting to do at 8 months now. We used the First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe tub, which is a 3-in-1 that I think retails for $20. We used it in our kitchen sink until our son was 6 months old and outgrew it. I really liked it! The only reason we stopped is because he became too mobile and we moved to the full tub. It was the perfect size and I loved not having to lean over.

Criticism of newborn sling and drain plug issues
We used the First Years sure comfort. The sling was terrible—it held the baby so high that only her legs were in the water, and she'd be freezing. Also the drain plug was useless, the water just went everywhere except out the plug. We ended up just using a washcloth or our arm to support her in the regular big tub.
