Travel vest for a 3-year-old
We are taking a trip and will be in a lot of taxis. My daughter just turned 3, is 30 lbs and 36 inches. Would the RideSafer vest be a good option? I’ve seen some people say it’s better for older kids. Also, any tips for getting a good fit?

Has anyone used the RideSafer Travel Vest Gen 5 as part of a one-bag travel setup? I want something that can fit in my backpack or purse for intermittent car rides. Does it really roll up that small? Any issues at airport security?

Comfort issues for toddler
Tried the Ride Safe Vest on my 2.5 year old for a short trip. She complained the whole time that she couldn’t see out the window and that the buckle was uncomfortable. Might be better for older kids who don’t need to nap in the car. Also, the shoulder belt guide kept slipping.

General feedback and travel hack
We have the RideSafer vest and love it for travel. Took it on a cruise and used it in ports and taxis. Way easier than lugging a car seat. Some Uber drivers were confused but once we showed them they were fine. My only complaint is the crotch strap is a bit short for my tall kid.
