Nite Ize Gear Tie 24-Inch Reusable Rubber Twist Tie — 2-Pack, Bright Orange (Waterproof, UV‑Resistant)

Was going on trip in 24 hours and needed a way to secure cowboy hat in pickup. Just setting on back seat was not an option. Looked on-line and did not find a solution that was inexpensive and available next day. Saw an idea and remembered I had some long gear ties. Used 2 ties and headrest to secure hat. During the trip I clipped seat cover over hat to protect from small dog in backseat. Still using, it works better than another model hanger I purchased. Would consider using smaller gauge ties if they are long enough.

I bought four gear ties and think they're a great and innovative product! I'm using one to help train a cucumber plant up a trellis on my porch, but the greatest utility I've found is for bicycling; I've been able to tie down milk jugs and even an 18" pizza to my tiny bike rack without fear of them falling off on my commute.

My airplane uses piano hinges to attach the engine cowling. A stainless steel wire pin is inserted into the hinge loops to secure the cowling to the airplane fuselage. The last two wires are difficult to say the least. Both have finger loops to push/pull into place. Small carabiners were used in the past to secure the loops so the pins stay in place. Took 45-minutes to an hour to get them in place. 6" gear ties take 30-seconds. No worries of shorting electrical parts underneath where they are needed. Best Product ever! Thank you!

It makes an excellent stand for a tablet computer. Keep the original hairpin bend in the middle, curl the ends around the edge of the tablet, and bend ~135¡ in the middle. Spread the two parts slightly for use, push them together to stow.

Great for organizing cords, but also great for so many other things while backpacking -- one of my favorite ways to use these is as clothespins along with a packable clothesline! So many great ways to utilize, and they're so easy to throw in the pack whether you think you might need them or not...

I got my first set at the Modern Marine Expo at Quantico several years ago. Since then I have used them to hold down four 25# weights that hold down my vendor tent at several different farmers markets. They work better than just about anything that I have tried before.

I use public transportation to my son and I back and forth to school and work. I use these to lash his backpack to mine to keep my hands free for boarding/deboarding the bus. I also keep one spare because he likes to twist them into different shapes during the ride.

I work as a plumber for a school system. These are great for securing cords, hoses, cables, etc. We also use them as temporary pipe hangers, holding open stall doors, hanging work lights, seems like something new at least once a week.

I purchased 64 inch Nite Ize Gear Tie to keep the hood of my MSR Bivy from touching down on my face. It makes my Bivy more like a solo tent. Just bend to fit and problems solved keeping the undesirable elements off your face. Big D

We love these ties! My friend has used them for attaching his hook/lure/ line to his pole for a quick pack up. I use them for keeping unsightly wires under control at home and when I travel.

Really, this is one of the most useful products I have run across in quite some time. Makes clean bundles of computer wires when I travel so I can just stuff them in my backpack and off I go. I always cary extras in different lengths in place of the old plastic zip ties. Great product.

My husband loves these so much that I bought 100 of them for his birthday one year and arranged them in a sectioned storage box by color. They are great for so many uses. I do wish the pricing could be a little more reasonable though. Would also like to see Made In USA!

If you tie your "floatie" across the luggage rack, or under the seat, instead of lengthwise, cars give you 3 feet more roadway that usual!

Got tired of cords going everywhere from my car console every time I was looking for the one I needed. These are great for tying or binding nearly anything to anything else. I have already purchased over $500 worth of these ties in all of the sizes for myself, my wife and my son. So I now have about 1/2 of the total quantity that I would like to have. The only thing that I would have liked better is if they came in industrial packs of 50 or 100 pieces at a slightly lower price.

Bought the GearTie Original 32 inch x 2 pack at Lowes and cut them into 2.5 inch lengths to attach shade cloth to the interior of my FarmTek 12 x 16 greenhouse. They fit perfectly into the rail slots (where the bolts usually go) and the ribbed outside and wire interior made them hold fast. I can pull on the shade cloth and they pop right out when I want to roll back the shade cloth. No more problems with wind, tears , sagging or using bolts to hold the cloth in place. Will buy more for their intended use too.

These 32 inch gear ties are great to have around the house and in your car for a multitude of uses. Currently mine is securing my outdoor umbrella! They are great for tidying up extension cords, and holding the gate open! Many sizes to choose from make for endless possibilities!

Ties work great to secure our balcony furniture to the railings. We live on the Chesapeake Bay and never know when a strong wind will blow. Have had furniture blow off the balcony in the past.

great product, limited in use only by your imagination. i tend to use mine as extra bathroom hooks when traveling, or wherever a hook is needed, like maybe on the back of an airplane seat.

Love these! They are perfect for so many things. They are so much easier to twist closed and twist open than just regular twist ties and they last forever.

I've used these to tie up extension cords and garden hoses, but I think my niece showed me how useful they are for busy moms. She has 1 1/2 year old twin boys, who are very curious and can use their little hands to open everything. She used the rubber twist to tie to "shut" the cabinet doors since a regular baby cabinet lock wouldn't work. Items stored in the cabinet are safe from them!

I work in the Data Center business and these ties are great for securing network cables and power. If we change something you can easily undo these ties and secure it back up rapidly. Our server racks look the best and our clients appreciate it as well. I prefer the orange color you can see it quickly for changes in equipment. Best thing ever. Just wish we had options for bulk discounts? I use the 3, 6 inch ties the most.

These look like they’ll be perfect for what my son bought them for me for, but please define “rubber.” I have an allergy to latex, aka natural latex rubber. Too many companies, including yours, are just slapping a “Rubber” label with no clarification whether it’s natural latex rubber or silicone “rubber.” Please clarify so we know whether I can safely use them or if they’re for other family members to use.

Great service! Seems like a good company to do business with. Ordered several different sizes of the gear ties and am very pleased with these products and pretty quick turnaround time. I really like the bigger ties to use here on the Tree Farm. I use the 64” ones to tie crates on to my tractor back blade to hold chainsaws and the like. So far excellent service and products.

These reusable high quality twist ties are great! I used one to substitute for my garage door lock until I could get it fixed. On a recent trip, I misplaced a velcro strap necessary to hold my bicycle mirror in place. Presto: Gear tie to the rescue. Actually created a firmer bond than the velcro strap the mirror's manufacturer included!

We are full time RVers and have used the 12" ties for a couple of years now and they work great! We have been using one of them to hold the main door open when the weather is nice.It gets curled around the brace at the top of the door and has been working like that for several months with no sign of wearing out.Excellent product!

Simple, easy way to keep your cords tidy and untangled. I prefer the brightly colored Gear Ties for their easy visibility on cords that I travel with and which are wrapped and unwrapped frequently; the darker ties I use with cords that are pretty stationary and which I still want to be neat and unobtrusive.

I bought 3 packs of 2x12" and 2 packs 2x6"from. Both the 12" and 6" worked great but it wasn't long before the wire broke about 1/2" from the end caps. This make these little less useful and they start becoming dangerous. The wire breaks and now it's just the rubber coating keeping it in place. The wire begins to breakthrough the rubber and it can be extremely sharp. That being said, don't use these for anything you need to have to secure tightly, anything that put much strain where you twisted. There is many uses for these but these will fail fast if they are used under much pressure. I used them to hang a roller up 25' a garden hoses and a couple drills. Which were only twisted when I tied them the first time. I made a loop that a hook could fit through. After that most of them broke at the loop a few broke st the twist and broke again after retwisting them. Just picking them up to use and putting them back on the hooks a few times a day for a week was enough for these to fail.

The 18# ties allow me to secure fence panels to T-posts for feeder pens. The rubber coating is fantastic! it stays pliable and intact, even in direct sunlight and the hot summers here in Texas. The color I chose allows me to view the tie from a distance.

We found exactly the color & length we wanted on the website. This size & color was not available in our local hardware store. We've used the black ties in the past for hoses & outdoor extension cords & were familiar with the quality. Great product.
