New Chicco OneFit LX ClearTex All-in-One Car Seat (Ebony)

I love this car seat! I got in a severe side impact accident directly where the car seat was. Thankfully my baby wasn't in the car but the car seat was not damaged and I know my baby would have been safe! I immediately bought a replacement. I don't want my baby in any other carseat. The straps are also super easy to manage and the chest clip has two widths to safely secure any size baby. I recommend this car seat to everyone.

I like the functionality of the car seat, but I'm disappointed in the fabric quality. After just a couple of months of normal use, the fabric has developed noticeable pilling and pulled fibers, leaving the surface looking worn and no longer smooth. For a premium car seat, I expected the upholstery to hold up better over time.

Would be a great car seat if you could actually take it apart. You can remove the fabric, but there's no way to disassemble the rest to clean when your child pukes all over it. Such a pain to clean.

Return policy is rediculous. It cost me $105 to return a car seat. No thank you.

We did not like this car seat and the bad part is we paid $82 to return this car seat that is not worth it.

Purchased this car seat for my grandson. We have the Chicco jogging stroller and all in one infant seat also. Love the safety, stability and protection that this car seat provides compared to others. He still rides backwards and this seat provides a very comfortable rear facing position. The fabric is luxury smooth and easy to wipe clean. He is currently 15 lbs. at 6 mos, but was born 5 lbs 5 ozs, so I was very particular about the seat I chose for him. The other seats I looked at just didn’t have the quality this seat does.

As a rear facing seat for a 1yr old it’s been great. Our child seems very comfortable in this car seat and my wife and are a glad to have an all in one option as our kid grows.

Perfect for a growing toddler. Lots of space to for the legs and really comfortable while also secure and not easy to unbuckle for the child. We love the cup holders.

It is a very sturdy car seat, good quality materials. It’s a bit bulky which we can look past, we just are frustrated that there’s no shade covering (a small detailed we overlooked.)

I love this car seat!! I bought this for my toddler after using this brand of car seat over the last 12 years (I have two older kids ) and I always recommend this one! The ease is amazing and I love the newest update and it has made getting the kiddo in and out better than ever!!

I absolutely love the color! Seems very comfortable, my 1 year old loved it. I had bought a Graco carseat before this one and my baby hated it, so I returned it and ended up with the Chicco onefit Lx. I love how easy it was to install, literally less than a minute to do so. Love the extra protection on the sides. My daughter had the cybex infant carseat which was comfortable, so I had to get her something that she would feel comfortable in and this carseat was the one. No complaints whatsoever.

This car seat is great, I can’t wait to be able for it to grow with my little one. The only minor issue was that my husbands car has seats with a steep angle so getting the bubble to line up was a bit tricky but overall I love the quality and look of the car seat

I bought this a few months ago and have regretted my decision ever since. My daughter keeps getting her legs caught on the cut outs of the sides and is screaming in pain where I have to pull over the vehicle to get her legs out of them. Design flaw on chiccos part unfortunately

I love all Chicco car seats. They are the brand I always buy and will always buy. However, I have one of the older onefit models (named something different I think) and it has 9 recline modes vs 8. I didn’t think it would bother me as much because I assumed they took one away from the forward facing options. However once I installed the new seat next to my toddlers RF seat I realized that they are both reclined the same when I would prefer to have the baby reclined a little further back. So that’s the only thing I don’t like about this seat is that it doesn’t recline back far enough for my liking for my 7 month old. I wouldn’t be comfortable putting a newborn in this seat.

Was concerned this seat would not fit (non-newborn/rear-facing) in our Volvo XC70, which has a surprisingly shallow back seat - but I was pleasantly surprised! Baby is comfortable, installation was very straightforward, and we are very happy with our purchase.

This car seat is very nice, the look and feel of the fabric well crafted and washable. Which makes it nice for keeping the car seat looking new and clean. It installed easily:just scan the QA code and there are quick and efficient videos showing how to install the base with the bottom tethers or with the shoulder belt. Having both the bottom tether and shoulder belt option is nice making this a very versatile and will grow with your child. Saving money on not having to buy mulitple car seats is a game changer. The swivel attachement works well and the red/green indicator on the swivel makes it wasy to know when it's locked in place properly. The mirror attachment is firm and comes on/off easily. The aesthetic of the look is presige with black and leather accents. The fact that you can buy two bases if you have more than one vehicle is a money saver instead of purchasing two car seats. Overall Chicco did an amazing, well thought out job of creating and designing a car seat that is affordable, well functioning, well made, and beautiful looking all while keeping the safety of our precious cago as their top priority. Thank you Chicco!!!!!

So happy I was able to find such an amazing car seat that my son and I both love. Car seat is slim and durable for the mamas with multiple car seats in their car. Was able to fit 3 across!! Which is so hard to find. I love all the departments you can tuck away the straps that aren’t needed at the moment. The cup holders you can remove to create more space. Easy instructions and installation. The fabric is soft and easy cleanable. All around an amazing car seat!

This car seat was great to install, has fabric that is so easy to clean and my toddler goes “this is the most comfy seat ever, mama!” Every time we buckle her in. So happy with it!

Reliability is hard to find, and Chicco have mastered that. This seat is super easy to install, materials are great to clean and wipe down. With all the options on the market, finding a reliable car seat was difficult. Then, I was pointed in the direction of this car seat. We love this car seat. Car seats are such an important piece of safety equipment for children that it can create anxiety in me making sure that I am doing it right. That is why I am so thankful for the clear instructions, easy installation process, and easy to understand diagrams on the seat itself that provide instruction along the way. **Unrelated to the seat, but also incredibly thankful for the videos Chicco provides on their site so that I can double check I am doing it properly.** We also greatly appreciate the slim design so our child does not feel crammed in while in the seat.

As a grandparent of 8 ranging from 4 months to age 8, we find this to be the best car seat we’ve ever owned! It was very easy to install, the orange coloring was very helpful! You can very easily adjust the back height by simply squeezing the handle and lifting! The numbering on the sides is clearly marked on where the tilt level should be based on age. So no matter which child will be sitting in the seat, it can very easily be readjusted to safely fit that child! I love the ease of removing the cup holders to wash them out!! Out of all the brands of car seats we’ve owned, this is by far the very best we’ve ever owned!!

It’s easy to get our baby in and out in the rear facing setup, the fAbric portion of the seat is completely washable and most importantly, we know our child is safe in the car in this car seat.

Wow! This car seat was super easy to install. We have only used the latch system as we are still rear facing, but the lever lock is an added bonus for future use.
