The Boon SOAK is a 3-stage baby bathtub designed to accommodate newborns, infants, and toddlers through an adjustable rigid bump that customizes the seat position. It fits in most double sinks and full-size bathtubs and includes a contoured back wall with a non-slip foam insert for stability, along with a color-changing drain plug that indicates water temperature. However, the foam insert is prone to mold if not thoroughly dried after each use, and many parents find the tub outgrown by 6 to 9 months despite a listed capacity up to 18 months, making it best suited for sink bathing during the early months.

The products were very good

SUSAN PASSMORE

The products were very good. More than I’d expected them to be. The color of the diaper bag is beautiful and I know my daughter in love will be happy with it.

While users appreciate the newborn support and sink compatibility, frequent complaints about mold, durability, and outgrowing it quickly temper the positive feedback.

Compared To

vs Angelcare Bath Support

Angelcare is simpler, less mold-prone, but lacks the adjustable features; Boon offers more stages but mold issues push some to Angelcare.

vs Skip Hop Moby

Skip Hop is larger and better for older babies, but Boon is preferred for newborns and sink use; both have sling/insert cleaning concerns.

vs Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Sling 'n Seat Tub

Fisher-Price is more versatile and grows with baby better, but Boon is more compact for sinks.

vs Stokke Flexi Bath

Stokke is foldable and larger, preferred for travel and longevity; Boon is better for sink use but smaller.

  • Boon Soak recommended for newborn but mold concerns raised

I have the boon soak and love it for now! But I agree it will be small quickly. You need a double sink though. The foam part on the back will definitely mold if you keep it on.

  • Boon Soak praised for sink fit but size and mold are drawbacks

I had the boon soak. It was fine for the first maybe 6 weeks in a smaller sink, but then she outgrew it quickly. It also molded. For our second we got the angelcare and liked it. It isn't as cradling, but it doesn't mold and is much smaller for storage. We also used the Fisher Price one (the sling) and it was really nice - lasted longer and better in the big tub.

  • First-time mom appreciates Boon Soak's newborn support

I got the Boon Soak and love it. My baby is 2 months and it works great in our kitchen sink. The adjustable bump is nice. I havent had mold yet but I take out the insert and dry it after every bath. I do worry it will get too small but for now its perfect.

  • Boon Soak compact but poor longevity and mold issues

I was given the Boon Soak tub and it was so cute but my baby hated it because it was plastic and felt cold and hard even with the foam part. After like a week the foam part started smelling musty and I had to throw it out. Not worth it. I just used the regular tub with a non-slip mat after a couple months.

  • Boon Soak considered for non-toxic quick baths but sink fit is limited

I have the boon soak. I like it but it does have PVC. I didnt know before buying. However at the time I needed something quick for my newborn. It fits in our double sink. The color changing plug is kinda cool but I still use a thermometer. I like the foam back for slippery babies but youre right it could be an issue. I remove it and wring and dry it every time. So far so good with no mold.

  • Boon Soak recommended for sink bathing but outgrown quickly

I had the boon soak. Loved it for the newborn stage and it fits in a kitchen sink. However by 5 months my LO was too big. I got a cheap inflatable tub for the big tub after that. The foam back did get gross so I just took it off. The plastic is easy to clean.
