Boon Soak praised for sink fit but size and mold are drawbacks
I had the boon soak. It was fine for the first maybe 6 weeks in a smaller sink, but then she outgrew it quickly. It also molded. For our second we got the angelcare and liked it. It isn't as cradling, but it doesn't mold and is much smaller for storage. We also used the Fisher Price one (the sling) and it was really nice - lasted longer and better in the big tub.

I got the Boon Soak and love it. My baby is 2 months and it works great in our kitchen sink. The adjustable bump is nice. I havent had mold yet but I take out the insert and dry it after every bath. I do worry it will get too small but for now its perfect.

Boon Soak compact but poor longevity and mold issues
I was given the Boon Soak tub and it was so cute but my baby hated it because it was plastic and felt cold and hard even with the foam part. After like a week the foam part started smelling musty and I had to throw it out. Not worth it. I just used the regular tub with a non-slip mat after a couple months.

I have the boon soak. I like it but it does have PVC. I didnt know before buying. However at the time I needed something quick for my newborn. It fits in our double sink. The color changing plug is kinda cool but I still use a thermometer. I like the foam back for slippery babies but youre right it could be an issue. I remove it and wring and dry it every time. So far so good with no mold.

I had the boon soak. Loved it for the newborn stage and it fits in a kitchen sink. However by 5 months my LO was too big. I got a cheap inflatable tub for the big tub after that. The foam back did get gross so I just took it off. The plastic is easy to clean.
