Looking at Target, the seats that are most affordable that would also be nice and light and relatively narrow and good for travel are the Baby Trend Cover Me, the Safety 1st TriMate, and the Disney Baby / Safety 1st Ellaris. The Graco TriRide would be a bit heavier but also an otherwise good choice. All of these will be significantly more expensive than the Cosco Scenera Extend, though. Then again, other than the Ellaris (which is about the same shape and size as the Scenera) they are narrower and might be more comfortable to sit next to on a plane so there’s that. If you’re looking to pay a bit more and have some more features these are good choices.
