VTech Write & Learn Creative Center discussion on drawingtablet subreddit
Battery compartment needs work ... The batteries will not stay in place. We've had to devise ways to jam a bit off paper into the battery compartment to try to get the batteries to stay in contact. Otherwise the toy keeps saying it's out of battery. It's really frustrated our 3yo, and it was her big Christmas gift.

Do VTech toys actually help toddlers learn? on beyondthebump
The magnetic pieces can be lost fast but overall I love this for my kids! From the tracing stencils & the learning buttons with the activities, I think it is super educational! My kids always bring me their drawing pad asking me to turn it out & play with them!
