The Gerber 10-pack of white flatfold cloth diapers is made of 100% cotton birdseye fabric and measures approximately 9.5 x 6.25 inches. Designed as reusable cloth diapers, they are primarily used for diapering but are also commonly repurposed as absorbent burp cloths or cleaning rags due to their thin, single-ply construction. Not for a child

Ruth H.

These are work cloths . Excellent texture!!!! Just what I wanted

Ordered the wrong one by mistake

Neil I.

Somehow I missed that these were flatfold's not prefolds. I already have some prefolds, and they're great. I have routine based on how those work. When these arrived and they were nearly twice the size and thinnen, I didn't know what to do, so I washed them up and tried a couple different folds. The fold Gerber recommended didn't really work for us. I then came across Jennifer Pickman's fold; it works amazingly. The Pickman fold works so well, I find myself using these flatfolds more than the prefolds that I had found so easy to use before. Either way with a Gerber cloth diaper, no matter how you fold it, you're getting quality cotton that your little one will enjoy.

Always excellent!

Lesa W.

I love using these cloth diapers as burp cloths. They are absorbent and oversize.

Just what we needed

These are a must have for all babies! The prices are amazing too!

Soft cloths

Crista D.

I didn’t think these soft cloths diapers were available anymore, but to my delight they are! I love these soft cloths for dusting, polishing and they are great for drying dishes and cleaning eye glasses daily. They are wonderful!

Flatfold Birdseye

I actually purchased them for cleaning rags. You can’t get anything any better! But I also had used the diapers many moons ago for my sons which are now grown. Loved them then. No pampers for them as i was lucky to have time but they also had an allergy to pampers.

Laurel

Bought granddaughter, who is expecting, a package and kept 3 for us. Best wipes around! And they wash up perfect. So handy to have for so many jobs and Google how to fold them if you run out of diapers. Everyone needs some.

My purchase is a donation to my churches World Relief Kits, to be sent out in October.

Best duster

Jean S.

I use these cloth diapers to clean and dust. They are great. Thanks for still carrying them.

mediumNot truly one-size; they are too small for older babies and toddlers.
lowMay not be 100% cotton as advertised, some feel synthetic or have a strange smell.

Community Q&A

Are Gerber cloth diapers good for diapering?
No, they are too thin, small, and prone to fraying; better quality brands are recommended for actual diaper use.
What are Gerber flatfold diapers useful for?
They excel as burp cloths, cleaning rags, or dusting cloths due to their absorbency and low cost.
Do Gerber diapers hold up after washing?
Often they fray, unravel, or lose shape after washing, so durability is poor.

Compared To

vs Cloth-eez / Green Mountain Diapers

Cloth-eez prefolds are thicker, more absorbent, and better quality for diapering, making Gerber inferior in comparison.

vs Osocozy prefolds

Osocozy are much better quality and actual diaper material compared to Gerber's thin, gauze-like fabric.

  • Gerber flats are poor for diapering but great as burp cloths

lol no they're not good for diapering but they're great burp cloths and general baby rags. // Not really. They’re too small to fasten around the baby? They are so thin that they are see through. They are good for cleaning/dusting and changes. But not as a cloth diaper. // I bought two packs and use them as burp cloths or lay them flat on my changing tray for easy clean up. They are awesome for that. // Gerber flats are useless for diapering. (comparing to quality brands)

  • Gerber flatfold diapers are the best burp cloths

PSA: Gerber Flatfold Cloth Diapers (aka the best burp cloths ever). I made a post a couple of months ago about receiving them as burp cloths at my shower and thinking they were useless. They're not useless. They're perfect for catching spit up and soak up liquid like a sponge! My LO has bad reflux and we go through a new burp cloth every couple of hours. They are also great for covering the changing pad so I'm not washing the cover everyday.

  • Gerber brand dip in quality extends to cloth diapers

They used to be okay, but quality has gone way down in recent years. ... I definately think they've dropped in quality the past few years. It's frustrating but you really do get what you pay for I guess.

  • Gerber flats are perfect as cleaning cloths, not diapers

This is what I’m doing too- using them ALMOST exclusively as cleaning cloths. Using them for floor spills, dusting, and as a changing pad cover. // We love the Gerber cloth diapers for burp cloths. They are second to none. // Not ideal for diapers but they are great for cleaning. I used them around the house, in the garage, with my swiffer mop, etc.

  • Gerber prefolds are thin, gauze-like, and not suitable for diapering

The birdseye ones with the padding sown in are very very thin. The padfolded part is only like 3 layers. They are NOT the same as good quality cotton prefolds... // We used them as burp cloths and they were great. I'll be honest, I wouldn't use them to diaper a baby, they're basically gauze and don't hold anything.
