The first couple times I used the stool the smells aftermath left behind were unimaginable!! That said i immediately felt better physically, no more cramps, no more rumbling stomach, which in turn made me feel better emotionally and that helped make me more physically active, which in turn also helped! I have since resolved the conditions which put me on the meds that caused constipation in the first place, and I personally contribute it all to Squatty Potty!!! Once I learned that elevating the feet helped I was using stacks of towels every time just to get by. I finally gave in and bought one of these and the convenience is amazing, fits perfectly in the bathroom and makes going so much easier. I would say my one complaint for myself is that the feet rest spots are way too far apart for me, and I usually find myself having my feet resting on the middle part instead. Other than that, the size and height are perfect and I appreciate this thing a ton.
