Having this second seat available made walks to the park with my three kids easier. When my preschooler or toddler got tired, they could hop in or out of this second seat to take a rest while their baby sister rode in the other seat. Our favorite configuration was having my youngest child in the top seat and the second seat in the lower position, with both seats facing out, to maximize the amount of room between the seats. It was super easy to attach the second seat when one of my kids wanted to use it. The adapters are built into the stroller base, which is very convenient. My older kids fit into the seat with room to spare, which isn’t always the case with toddler stroller seats. I do wish that the footrest position could be adjusted. It doesn’t look that comfortable. Also, the seat came with a snack tray, which is cool. However, the tray placement seems a little high, and I do not like how the whole tray needs to be removed to get the child out of the seat. A hinge would be a better design. Overall, this seat is worth having if you have two or more kids. The only downside was the five-point harness at times was frustrating to keep together so that the shoulder pads didn’t slide off. So having the flexibility to put the stroller seats any way I want is amazing. The second seat easy snaps on with a quick press. The option to put the seats in different configurations is not only great, but it’s easy. I felt there was enough space between the first and second seat so that my 2 year old wasn’t too close to my 4 year old. I did both seats front facing because I feel like both my girls like to look out that way while we’re shopping or on a walk.\n\nThe fabric of the seats is great and something that is usually missed when dissecting a stroller. It’s a sleek design. I love the black and gray tones and it wipes down so easily!\n\nThere is something spectacular spectacular about this stroller that I haven’t seen yet (and we’re a total baby gadget family)! Her wild curly hair does brush up against the sunshade but she said it’s no big deal. This second seat turns your Modes Nest2Grow stroller into a double stroller.\n\nThe short version:\nPros:\n- Larger toddler seat can be used in the lower stroller position AND can hold up to 50lbs! AND you don’t need a separate adapter to use it in the lower position.\n- Maneuvering the stroller is GREAT, even when the heavier child is sitting in the lower position, which is in the front of the stroller.\n- There is plenty of space between the two seats so you can lie one seat down completely when one kid is napping.\n- This stroller looks really good with the textured fabric, quilting (I LOVE quilting) and vegan leather details. It’s looks a lot more expensive than it is.\n- Machine-washable seat pads (imagine all those milk and food spills)\n- The stroller can fold down with the toddler seat in the forward-facing position.\n- You don’t have to buy any additional adapters for the second seat or Graco carseat\n- Second seat comes with a snack tray/drink holder too!\n- Stroller comes with a parent drink holder\n- VERY roomy storage compartment\n- The handle adjusts to different heights\n- Good suspension\n\nCons:\n- Larger toddler seat is not as tall as I would like, but the larger weight capacity of the seat in the lower position makes it worth not being able to use the canopy soon.\n- This stroller is heavy, but it’s not a big deal to me because I mostly walk in the neighborhood or on a trail near my house.\n- I wish the second seat were as big as the toddler seat that comes with the stroller, but the 50 lb weight limit still applies, so that's awesome.\n- Second seat canopy doesn't unzip to extend like the toddler seat's canopy.\n\nThe long version:\nWhen I was pregnant with my first baby, I wish someone had advised me to buy a stroller that can eventually turn into a double stroller.  In fact, I wish I bought a whole travel system where the car seat works with the stroller without any additional attachments (meaning extra $$). In my 3.5 years as a mom, I have used 6 different strollers and this one makes it stroller #7.  So I would say I have a fair amount of experience in this area. I have 2 boys. One is 41\" tall and 35 lbs and the other is 30\" tall and 21 lbs. Munchkin #1 is at that height and weight where he can no longer sit in the smaller seat of some strollers. While this doesn't sound important, it means that in my current stroller, he can only sit in the bigger seat and that seat can only be in the TOP configuration. So I have to lift this heavy kid into the top AND less face time with Munchkin #2. Enter the Graco Premier Modes Nest2Grow Stroller where the larger seat can be configured in the top OR lower positions AND has a 50 lb weight limit AND you don’t have to buy an additional adapter for the lower position.  It slides out of the bottom of the stroller basket area.  The stroller also comes with the click-in adapters if you buy the Graco carseat, but I don’t have that carseat. (I had to buy another adapter to use my carseat with my stroller, but they are two different brands). \n\nA couple of other nice features of the stroller:\n- it comes with a snack tray/cup holder for each seat and a parent cup holder.  I had to buy those things for my current stroller. \n- The top seat can slide up and down in 3 positions.  I have the top seat facing me and the lower seat facing out and when Munchkin #2 naps in the top seat, I can lie it all the way down.\n- The stroller is wider than my current stroller and it maneuvers better than my stroller when Munchkin #1 sits in the front.\n\nFinal thoughts: you really get a lot of the features that premium strollers have, but at a fraction of the price. When folding I take off the lower seat and it nests nicely behind the attached seat for a smaller fold. I would have liked to see a telescoping handle instead of a tilt. At 5’2” I feel like the handle is still too tall in the lowest position for me. I would also like to see the option for an attachment for a board on the back for another child or larger toddler. The seat can either recline or lay back completely for naptime or stargazing in the evenings. The seat did appear a bit narrow, but my daughter fits nicely and seems comfortable so I have no complaints. The manual calls out no more than 50 lbs and 45 in. tall as limits for the seat. \nI love that the colors are neutral and the leatherette accents really elevate the look. For my almost 4 year old, using the lap belt only is great!  She's 43# and 42\" tall, so the straps are all pretty maxed out but the lap belt was manageable for her.  However, when using as a five point harness, the shoulder straps slide in to the buckle and it was tough to get everything together with our squirmy 20 month old!  Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps is also a little clunky and not something you can do super quickly on the fly if you're switching kids around.\n- The sun shade in the second seat isn't as expandable as the shade in the primary seat - I would love that figure in the next iteration for full sun protection and help with naps on the go.
