I ordered 3 of these seats from Target on sale last week, one for each of our cars and one for grandparents (not this color... Couldn't find the colors we ordered here). My 4 year old loves his new seat and says it's very comfortable. He's even been using the spare one as his seat in the living room today. They're easy to assemble (5-7 minutes with children interrupting) and installation is a breeze. I like the versatility of this seat (highback and backless). It's easy to clean. It has enough cushion and support to be comfortable and protective without being bulky and taking up too much space in the backseat. My son and I also like that it has 2 cup holders. Be sure to read the owners manual on proper installation and usage. I know this seems like an obvious point, but I found it informative and helpful with issues I hadn't considered.

I just bought this highback booster for my daughter. She loves it! It comes with removable pads in the headrest and back for extra cushion and support, plus a better fit, until she gets bigger. The reclining position and cup holders are both essential features for us. The seat is lightweight, easy to assemble, and easy to fit to my daughter. It does not have the latches to attach it to the car, but it provides a great fit and positions the seat belt correctly across my daughter. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great booster (one last car seat!) for their child.

It's the big boy seat! He loves it. I love the 2 cup holders It's comfortable and easy to use. But I would like the option to clip the base into My suvs carseat hooks for more security when he is not in the seat.

This car seat is great for my son. He loves being in his big boy seat! The cupholders are nice and convenient and the added padding on the head piece helps his head from tilting too much if he falls asleep.

I bought this car seat for my niece to replace the harness style seat we had. I prefer the harness style, however, this one is easier for her to buckle and unbuckle. I am unable to push the release button on the harness due arthritis and this was the best choice for us.

My son is 8 years old and has been in a convertible car seat for years. It was finally time to move into a real booster seat and my son specifically asked for something with head protection. We bought this and are very happy with it. The only problem is that the back is at its highest right now so it won't be on for as long as we would have anticipated.

The seat had some great features, i.e., the high back head rest, the saftey straps that attach to the car seat brackets, the cup holder, and ease of installation.

I bought this a month ago and I am so happy that I did. I am the grandparent of the 6 yr old girl that was very excited to choose the pink color. This booster is lightweight making it easy to transfer is needed. I liked the fact that this model had a highback and seems to mold around her body. I recommend this product.

the only complaint is for every car seat...they are too wide! I have an SUV and they don't fit right to buckle i have to shift the car seat over buckle and then shift it back...

My son turned 5 in February. He is 42 inches tall and 55 lbs and has been in the Graco 4 point harness seat and has been begging for a booster. Since he still falls asleep on long trips I really wanted something that still had some head and neck support. He wanted something in a fun color with cup holders. We found both in this seat! It is adjustable as he grows and eventually we can remove the back. We love it!

The product is very easy to assemble and not complicated. I love putting this in any car. Even my grandmother loves putting it in her car.

Putting the back support to the base is a little tricky, but you need to follow the directions - very important.

Great booster seat. Our 4 yo was using the 4-in-1 booster option but we want to use that Graco seat for the next kid so we upgraded our booster seats. These are much lower profile than the Graco 4-in-1 which we appreciate bc our 4 yo's feet were kicking/crunching on the front seats. These were a great call as he has much more room. I wanted the high back as he still only 4 and the back provides nice support and a "boundary" as he learns to sit in his seat the whole ride (not leaning forward/ to the side).

My son absolutely loves this highback booster. The hidden compartment is one of his favorite parts because he can hide his little toys in it from his little sister. LOL I love how you can latch the bottom into the seat to secure it more than just the seat belt across the child.

I bought this to replace another transitional booster seat from a reputable brand. On the other brand, when I swapped from using the 5-pt harness to the seatbelt, it frankly never fit my son properly. You also couldn’t use the the seat anchors after 40 lbs, so his seat was always loose feeling and belt was always twisted and in an awkward position. I am very happy with this purchase because all the problems I had with his other seat are solved. He’s learning to buckle himself in and this seat makes it pretty easy. I am a Graco fan now. Also moving to another car is quite easy thanks to the quick lock anchors. I’m in love with this seat. Wish I had gotten it earlier.

Quick to assemble. Looks nice. A little difficult getting the seat belt buckled but that is a problem in my vehicle.

Great booster seat, easy to install and love the latch system as it keeps the seat in place. My granddaughter says its very comfortable. The shoulder harness part the belt slides thru is adjustable as your child grows. I also like that when it comes time, we can just use the seat part.

Thank you to the Wee Spring Parent Panel for sending me the Graco Turbobooster Stretch to try! The seat went together quickly and was easy to assemble. However, I immediately noticed it just doesn’t feel as substantial as our other car seats - the plastic isn’t as sturdy and the seat doesn’t have as much cushion. No complaints from my 5-year-old on comfort, though. He was just disappointed in only one cupholder. He likes to keep a water bottle in one cupholder and small toys in the second cupholder on his other seat. I was really pleased with the ease of installation with the latch. The belt positioning clip was a little flimsy. Overall, we’re grateful to have this is a second car seat for Dad’s car but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

I received this booster seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and ended up really loving it and I plan on buying an additional one. This booster is really good. Not only does it seem super safe, it's also the only one I've ever seen that is able to adjust to your child. This is nice because it means we will be able to use it longer as my daughter grows, but I also found that it helps keep her head from flopping forward when she sleeps. The only thing I didn't love was the "secret" compartment on the side. In theory, it seems like it would be good, but for us, there's not enough room to open it/use it when others are in the backseat and it was just a crumb collector when it was opened. Overall, though, I'd say it's a great choice!

I received this booster seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. You can use it as a high-back booster or just a booster. We installed with the back and compared to our other booster seats that we own, I like that it has loops for the seatbelt and feels cushier in the seat. It was super easy to put together and install. My child likes it saying it feels softer and the seatbelt glides much smoother through the loop compared to his other seat. I would say a con is that it takes up more space than our other seats. A pro is that later I'll be able to disassemble and use just the seat while my other seats that I own cannot be disassembled.

I have used the Graco TurboBooster Stretch as a high back booster. It has been very easy to adjust, and easy to find a great fit for my son since the headrest and backrest adjust separately. It feels secure since it uses the Latch system. My son loves the snack and drink holders too and he is getting used to hooking a seatbelt himself. I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm so glad! The seat is perfect for my average size just turned 7 year old. I appreciate that it works now and will grow with him through the end of his car seat sitting days. The height of the head rest is easy to adjust and we removed the back just to see what that was like (we're not comfortable with him riding that way yet) and that was simple, too. My favorite part is the loops at the shoulders to hold the seat belt in place for him to be able to buckle himself. Hallelujah! I love being able to glance back to confirm that he's buckled in properly (this new design is even better at keeping the seat belt in place than an old Affix we've used). I feel like that just changed my life. Cup holder is great, too. Another highlight for us is that the latch system gives it a very sturdy feel while buckled in and helps me feel safer riding around with a secured seat rather than a potential projectile when he isn't in the car with me holding it down. Highly recommend!

I felt so fortunate to receive the Graco TurboBooster Stretch from the Stellar Product Testing Panel because I am a brand loyalist to Graco and love their carseats and boosters. I was super excited to try their new high back booster and it didn't disappoint! When I first bought a carseat I had my husband assemble and install it but that wasn't necessary with the Graco TurboBooster Stretch because it was so easy for me to put together and instal myself because it is lightweight. I like how I trust its safety and my kid's favorite feature is the cupholder because it makes her feel like a big girl. My daughter also loves how comfortable it is! There are attachments on either side so you can use the seat belt on both side of the vehicle which gives great flexibility for installation and the seatbelt is so easy for my daughter to use. I love the Graco fabric that matches my car and also is very easy to clean. I also love how you can adjust both the backrest and headrest so that it will adjust as my child grows which is helpful because I have tall children! I know I will use this booster for many years because it can also adjust to a backless booster. Hurray!

My 4 year old son graduated from his convertible car seat, which saddened me because he is so young, but he is quite large both in height and weight, so I was quite happy to try this booster seat. We used it with the high back booster and I was quite happy with how adjustable everything was. My son enjoyed riding with it and was comfortable with just the seatbelt. The seat allowed it to be in a safe place across his chest without causing discomfort to him. He is not allowed to unbuckle himself, but would be able to with ease, If needed. This seat holds up to the normal high standards of the Graco name and I would highly recommend it to all!

The Graco Turbo Booster Stretch Booster Seat is a great high back and backless booster seat (I love that it converts to both!). It was very easy to assemble and install. It is also so easy to adjust the height! My son loves being able to finally use a seatbelt to buckle himself in. He was very comfortable in his new booster during our recent 3 hour road trip. He was very excited about the cup holder and compartment. For now we are using the booster with the back, but I love that we have the option to use it as a backless booster as well. Thank you, Stellar Product Testing Panel, for letting my little one try this seat! I love the design and the fact that the back adjusts in 2 ways - at the shoulders and the back. My husband would say I am a pro at car seats, but this one took me a few minutes to understand how it works, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. When adjusting, it doesn't go from the shoulders first, instead the back part goes up first, then you adjust from the shoulders. I thought this would be uncomfortable for my little one, but she was fine with it. Installing it in the car was SUPER easy and she was excited that she could easily buckle the seat belt without any issues. Overall this is a user friendly seat - I was probably trying to make it more complicated than it was. Love the dedicated snack tray and separate cup holder. Just for fun, we tried it backless with my older son - he said that is was comfy and asked if he could steal this one from his sister - I say that is a win on both positions!

Having an easily adjustable headrest is helpful and the large side wings. It is also nice that the extension is covered when extended. I much prefer high back boosters but this one has longevity as the back comes off it goes all the way up to 110lbs, so it will be useful as well down the road. I really like that the booster has LATCH connectivity. Keeps it in place without having to buckle it in even without a child in it. The air flow mesh works for my kiddo who runs super warm . Around the time that my son turned 5 I knew it was time to start looking into a booster seat for him. I needed him to have the independence of getting himself in and out of his seat in the car but still feel comfortable for him and peace of mind for me. When I got the Graco Turbo Boosterstretch I was pleasantly surprised right away. My son immediately wanted to sit in the seat and loved how comfortable it was. I noticed it has great cushioning for safety that will also be very comfortable for long drives. We often take road trips that range from 4-9 hours and he will usually fall asleep in the car. Well this seat makes it so he can still fall asleep as well as stay safe for the whole drive. He is pretty tall for his age and for every kid it is so different so it was great to have the option of adjusting the headrest and the backrest separately. I can cater it exactly to how my son likes it, and how I know he will be safe no matter what. With this seat my son can now easily buckle his own seatbelt and the loop belt guide keeps the seat belt in the right spot for his height no matter what. Which is making my life so much easier. On most car rides my son likes to bring snacks or little toys and keep them in a “special spot”. I love how the Turbo Boosterstretch gives him a place to put his water bottle AND snacks or little toys. This little compartment is his favorite feature to hide all his goodies but also keep them organized so the car isn’t getting too messy. I’m so happy with this booster seat. I received the Graco Turbobooster Carseat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It's a very lightweight car seat and very easy to assemble. This will most likely be my go to car seat to travel since it's so lightweight. My son is not the height / weight where I feel comfortable having him in the backless mode so we had It in the highback mode which is great since it adjusted to fit his height. It was very easy for him to put his own seatbelt on and latch it to the open loops. The fabric was soft. I really like the secret hideaway storage. My son loves to stuff things everywhere in his car seat so this hideway is perfect spot to store and close so it does not take up space and fall out. Overall, great carseat. Light weight and easy to assemble.

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I automatically loved this car seat during the assembly. There were 3 pieces total (4 if you count the cupholder) and they were extremely easy to snap together and took less than 5 mins total. My son still uses the high back mode and even with all the parts, my husband and I were both impressed with how lightweight it is. While my son has only used it a few times, he said it is very comfortable. I’m looking forward to continue using it and to see how it wears compared to our other seats.

My 5-year old is one of those 99th percentile kids that has always made car seat shopping a stressful experience. We had already gone through three car seats for him once he transitioned to front-facing because he kept outgrowing the height and weight limit, and that was even with getting booster car seats with the maximum height-weight range. Before he was developmentally ready, we had to transition him out of the 5-point harness last year into a seatbelt because he had gotten too big and the crotch buckle, even at its maximum position, was getting too tight. I remember thinking, ‘I can’t be the only parent going through this! Why is it so hard to find a car seat for bigger young kids?’ Enter the Graco TurboBooster Stretch, which I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. On first impression, it’s simpler with far less bells and whistles than previous versions of car seats we’ve owned, but in this instance, simpler is better. Far better. For now, we are using the seat with the highback attachment, but it’s nice to know that it’s just a simple removal once our son is ready to move up to the backless booster mode. The entire seat itself is fairly light without unnecessary bulk – but still solidly built – making it a breeze to install and remove if necessary to put into another car. It’s certainly wider and more spacious than previous booster seats, which is a huge plus for larger kids, and it’s very simple to adjust the height of the back and headrest to fit your child once they’re in it. My favorite feature is that it’s slightly lower than the highback boosters we’ve used in the past. This may not seem like a big deal if your kids already know how to independently buckle themselves in and out of their seatbelt, but for my son, sitting lower has made all the difference in his ability to reach the seatbelt buckle. He is now able to climb in and buckle himself in without needing me to stretch across the backseat to help him reach it – my back thanks me for it! However, if you ask my son what his favorite feature is, it’s the ‘secret compartment,’ as he likes to call it, that comes with the seat. There’s an attachable cupholder on the right, and another large storage compartment on the left that slides open. He’s put everything from toys and chicken nuggets in it when we’re on the road and enjoys opening it to check and make sure that his little toys and snacks that he stores are still safely secured in there. That may not be as big of a deal for some kids or parents, but my son really seems to enjoy this feature. We liked this car seat much more than we initially thought we would and we’ll be sticking with this one for a long time! This answers the call of all those parents like me who had been looking for the perfect booster car seat that provides protection, support, and comfort for their still-young-but-bigger kids!

I received the Graco Turboboost Stretch from the Stellar Product Panel for review. Right out of the box I noticed the material is really nice. It has a luxury car feel to the sleek design. I love that it’s not an eyesore in my back seat. It was really easy to adjust the back and headrest for my super tall 5 year old. It’s narrow and fits well next to another toddler seat, the slimness of the seat design makes it super easy for her to buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt herself. The seat is so light that moving it from one car to another is much easier than other seats. She and I loved this seat the only minor inconvenience is the lack of padding in the headrest. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this seat to our friends and family.

My Daughter loves it, she is just turning five, and this seat was such a good choice. She said it's comfortable, I like that it is reclinable so when she naps, we can law it back just a touch with the seat back.

Pretty flimsy, no padding on seat just some cloth. A HUGE step down from the Extend to Fit car seat she outgrew. This will be tough for trips over an hour.

We have bought at least seven of these over the last seven or so years—two for each car here, two for the car at the in laws, and at least one that we gifted to a family member. These seem very comfortable (kids have never complained about them), easy for the kids to unbuckle and unbuckle themselves, love the cup holders. Just overall a great booster and can withstand all the mess and turmoil your kids can dish out, while keeping them safe.

My kiddo loves this booster! The colors are so lovely and she is comfy. It is great that the cup holders slide away for more room when we have another passenger too. Little sister is jealous.

This seat is perfect: inexpensive, lightweight, easy to use, easy to convert to a backless booster. This works great for other people's cars(Gma/Gpa, Aunts/Uncles) since it isn't necessary to buckle with the latch system or anchor points-which our main Graco seat needs to be.

I have a 6 year old and it works well for them. It is roomy but still have support and even if they fall asleep, they aren't flopping around as would happen with a booster without a back. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't have the straps in the back to have it more sturdy in the car. There is a more expensive option that I guess does. So it can slip a little when they are getting in.

I had purchased this booster in the past for my granddaughter, at the time my grandson wasn't quite ready for a booster. He always wanted to sit in sissy's seat. The back broke on hers and I contacted Graco and they replaced it. Now that he is big enough, I purchased one for him also. He was so excited when he saw it. It's truly the perfect booster. I recently bought this Turbobooster LX booster car seat for our grandson and it is very easy to assemble and install in the car. Once he is ready for the booster seat only, I will remove the high back.

I was excited to try out this new booster to see if it would be a good switch for my six year old who is currently in a 5-point harness booster. We tried it with the highback, and I very much appreciate that both the backrest and headrest are adjustable, which definitely helps keep it safe and comfortable. I also was very happy with the latch attachment to help keep it secure and in place even when not in use. My daughter loved the cup holder and little storage compartment. Overall this seems a good booster with excellent longevity of use thanks to how adjustable it is and the wide weight range.

Very safe and lightweight seat. Easy to travel with (especially when flying). Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the latch that the seat belt winds into doesn't always hold the belt (with squirmy toddler). Otherwise, it's a great purchase!

I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My daughter was excited to try out her big girl high back booster seat and she was not disappointed. Neither were mom and dad! My favorite feature is the adjustable backrest and headrest which allowed us to get the perfect fit for now and continue to fit as she grows. The built in cup holder and fold out storage area are her favorite parts of the new seat. Overall, we are very happy to have this new booster as part of our Graco car seat collection.

As soon as the Graco TurboBooster Stretch arrived, my husband was eager to get it installed for our growing almost 7 year old. She has been getting longer by the minute and her little sister is following suit. My professional booster installer, aka my husband, could not believe how light the booster was nor how incredibly easy it was to adjust and install. From opening the box to fully installed took about 15 minutes. Normally, I’d think that lightweight wasn’t a plus for a booster for safety reasons, but about 95% of our car seats from infant to booster have been Graco which is a name I trust when it comes to safety. We were lucky enough to test this seat thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We love everything about this seat. I really like that you can install this booster seat with the latch system. It is lightweight, but sturdy and easy to transfer from car to car if need be. The headrest and back adjustments also make it easy to ensure the seatbelt comes across the chest of your child where it is supposed to. My son loves sitting like a big boy and thinks the tray that slides in and out on the side is great for holding his toy cars that he brings everywhere with us. I plan on buying a second seat for my husband's vehicle!

The Turbobooster Stretch 2 in 1 booster car seat made by Grace is perfect for the child ready to transition from a 5 point harness. My 5 year old son, average weight and height, loves this car seat in high back mode. We have a few different booster car seats for different cars and he prefers this one. He can easily buckle himself in while in this booster (and be able to do it correctly because of the red belt guides), probably because it sits lower and the arm rests aren't bulky. This is a no frills booster seat that's great for budgets without sacrificing any safety or comfort. While we aren't driving as much nowadays during the pandemic, when we do visit family, my son is comfortable and safe even when he falls asleep. It is very easy to get a great fit and I know this car seat will definitely grow with my child as the backrest and headrest can be extended (great feature for those taller kids) and eventually convert to backless mode. I really like the fabric and airflow channels to keep my often sweaty child from getting too hot. My husband really likes this booster because it was extremely easy to install due to use of the LATCH anchors, which will come in handy when we need to move it to the grandparents' cars. I'm so glad the one cup holder is big enough to fit a large water bottle (it's so sad when we come across a holder than can only accommodate small bottles)! The secret snack/toy compartment doesn't work for us as we can't open it fully as it hits the center tray between the captains chairs of our car. It would not be an issue if the booster is installed behind the drivers seat or if we had a bench seat in the middle row. That's just a minor complaint and overall I would highly recommend this 2 in 1 booster for families looking for one that is rigorously tested, easy to install and adjust, and comfortable! First thing I noticed about this Graco Turbobooster Stretch was how easy it was to piece together. In a snap I had this ready to go test in my car. Secondly, it was super lightweight! I was able to carry with one hand with no effort or struggle. Third, look at this design! Simplicity at best! The sleek cup holder makes it easy to clean out and the size holds most bottles and cups. To my surprise I saw a tray pop out and was instantly thrilled! A awesome spot for those random items your kids find. Best part they can close it up to hide their treasures. The fabric was soft and comfy, easy to wipe off. If all else fails, the covers are machine washable. Adjustable headrest, lower anchors and belt positioning clip, is all tools to provide the most secure use. The option to go backless is just as easy as it was to piece together. Both are optional and what works for you and your child. My child preferred keeping the back attached because of the comfy headrest. It let her rest while keeping her head upright. The side impact guarantee let's me trust Graco has provided the best. I'm happy to see this booster can grow with my child and adapt to her height. Overall, I highly recommend. As our six-year old daughter ages out of her bulky convertible seat, we loved putting her into the Graco TurboBooster Stretch seat. Getting this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel was perfect timing - we needed something for both cars in the suburbs and moving her other bulky seat back and forth was back-breaking work. This seat unclips rather easily and is very light weight. As she continues to grow, we know we will be able to easily adjust the head and back rest for her. In the meantime, she can buckle herself in (versus other models with a five-point harness), allowing us to drop her off seamlessly at school (whenever that happens again). As you can see in the picture, it has a well-placed cupholder and a sleak design that doesn't take up too much space in our back seat (in case an aunt wants to squeeze in between our girls). I'll have to get a second when the 3-year old is big enough!

I bought the seat a little over a month ago and was thrilled until the squeaking started. It’s horrible and loud. The styrofoam is what is making the noise and I’m about to throw the whole thing out. Other than that it was a great car seat but this is driving me crazy while driving and I’m looking at getting a different car seat already.

Really wanted to love this seat. The high back doesn’t stay in place. Vibrations from the car or just my son getting in and out of the car causes the headrest to drop down. Ready to purchase a new seat and haven’t even had this a year.

This car seat would be absolutely perfect if it had anchors! How unsafe that without anchors the car seat can just fly around. I am very disappointed. I would have never bought 3 of them if I knew there were no anchors. Every booster or car seat has always had some sort of latch system. Id much rather have anchors/latch something to stabilizze the seat than a cup holder.

This carseat was great at first. Then the back started sliding down. Now we have a hard time keeping the back part up. We have 4 of these seats and the backs fall in all of them every single time the kids sit down. Upon looking at the latch, it is poorly designed. I do not recommend this seat.

We own several Graco seats and bought 2 of these as my child has outgrown her previous one. I am really wanting to love this seat just as much but the headrest continues to fall down every time she gets in the car. I came on here hoping for a trick to solve the issue but I see many other reviews have this problem as well. Really upset I'm going to have to look for another high back booster less than a year after I bought these two.

I purchased this seat just over a year ago and I'm officially ready to replace it. The back support does not stay in any position other than the lowest. With child in seat and head rest at proper height, vibration of driving causes it to drop down. My child has actually made the comment of "I wish my seat would stay up."

Every time my son lays back in this I hear a crack from the joining area to the base. I don’t know if it’s suppose to do this as it hasn’t attached yet. The headrest has slid down on its own a few times and I’ve read elsewhere this can be a problem. Padding isn’t great either but at least I got this seat cheap.

So far so good, but it makes me nervous. It doesn’t have a latch so I’m afraid she won’t be as secure in a wreck. The belt path is tight so she struggles to do it herself. I do like how easy and light it is, so I can just move it from one row to another in only a minute. But you definitely get what you pay for and I’m not as happy with this one as I’ve been with my past 2 Graco seats.

I got the product before the expected delivery date. I find the product is good in quality. It is best fit for the growing child.

I really feel better about this car seat for my grandsons. My 7 yr old grandson was using one similar to this one but was only fastened by the seatbelt itself. My 4 yr old grandson was in a regular car seat the was fastened into the truck by an anchor. This booster-car seat is anchored on to brackets at the base of the truck seat. I have better peace of mind knowing the seats are anchored in place.

My son love his booster compare to his old one. The head and neck support is perfect for when he falls asleep on long car rides. Easy to install and take out when needed. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Brought this product two weeks ago. The only thing I don’t like is that it does not include a build in attachment mechanism to secure it to the vehicle. Didn’t know to check as safety by securing the toddler’s would be automatic. .

I bought this a couple of months ago and just started using it. It’s by far the worst product I ever bought!!! Every time you make a turn the booster seat tilts over to other side it does not have a latch so much less secure. I called the customer service and they were no help they stated since it has nothing wrong they can’t replace or take it back. They were not concern about the safety issue it has. Don’t waste your money with this product.

I bought 2 of these yesterday for my 5 year old twins, and installed them into my car. I LOVE how sleek they are and that they do not take up as much space as the Graco 3-1. I would have rated it much higher except that I am not sure if it is missing the buckle behind the seat to properly secure it to the bench seat. I am going to do more research to find out. My husband and I are not fans of that feature missing.

Got this booster car seat from the Graco website since it was on sale with free shipping as well. Car seat came pretty quickly which was great but, once I took it out of the box there were two big spots of some yellowish glue on the fabric of the armrest and headrest. I tried to get it out but it just wouldn’t come off. Pretty dissatisfied with my purchase and hopefully it doesn’t affect the functionality of the product. I have four kids and have always used Graco products. What a shame!

1) Usability: Six year old has difficulty strapping herself in easily. (Was not a problem with child seat.) 2) Quality: Armrest cover comes off constantly. While this is not safety-related, it speaks to the poor design and manufacturing quality.

I got this because it was the booster seat I saw all my kindergarten students all had and I was ready to be done with a 5-point harness once my son was heavy enough. My husband feels like it’s not secure enough, and it makes him really nervous. It slides around a bit, despite my son being 40lbs. He can easily lean out of the shoulder strap, and I feel like it would have been better to wait on this until he’s more mature and can be responsible enough to sit correctly. I tried to return it, but the seat doesn’t come apart to fit back into the box and customer service doesn’t answer the emails when you contact them. The backless booster that uses a little leash thing to hook onto the shoulder strap doesn’t work well. I tried to buy metal clips instead and it didn’t help around the arms of the booster. Overall a disappointment for us and I will still probably try to return it. I won’t buy it again, even when my son is heavier.

So far so good! But I really with you guys made a harness seat for a child weighing more than 65 lbs. My so has special needs and is 4 years old needing a booster now due to weight and height. I don't feel great about him only having a seatbelt even though our local police department says it's ok.

Designed for safety, they often compromise on user-friendly features and the installation can bring a grown woman to tears. Not so with the Graco TurboBooster Stretch! I was so pleased to open the box and find an uncomplicated, well-made seat with concise instructions which was completely assembled and ready for install. This seat is so simple to use that it took less than five minutes to figure out the adjustment features and get it ready for travel. My five-year-old can transfer it between vehicles himself and adjust the backrest and headrest to suit his preference. It earned the approval of his grandparents, who have generally avoided having anything to do with car seats. My son appreciates that it’s “very comfortable” and that the cup holder fits his water bottles. He likes the soft fabric and the snack compartment is a hit. The headrest is well-designed and my son’s head no longer bounces around when he falls asleep while riding. The adjustable back accommodates a wide range of heights, so I’m confident that we’ll be able to continue using the seat as my son grows. The fabric and plastic are easily washable after inevitable spills and accidents. I’m very pleased with the Graco TurboBooster Stretch, and can highly recommend it!

I am very impressed with the Graco TurboBooster Stretch. My 5 year old who is 48 lbs and 46 inches tall fits perfectly. It is very lightweight and easy to install. The easily adjustable height headrest makes finding the perfect fit so easy. After I initially threaded the seatbelt through the top of the backrest he is able to buckle and unbuckle with no issue. I really liked the side airflow channels and do think it helps keep the seat cool when the temperatures are hot. The smaller footprint of the seat allows for extra room in the backseat of our car if we need to use the middle seat. I would say my son’s favorite part of the seat (besides being free of the 5-point harness) is the side sliding hideaway storage compartment for all his treasures! I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time. My husband just bought a new truck and we were worried about our current car seats fitting in the back seat with enough leg room for our 7 year old. The TurboBooster Stretch, which we are currently using in highback mode, is slim enough to fit easily in the back seat of the truck but also robust enough to feel safe and keep her sitting upright. I love that it still has the anchors to keep it in place (but easy to install and remove) and that the cupholder is removable in case you're trying to fit 3 carseats in a row. The little storage compartment underneath is also nice, but if I'm being honest, I worry that one day I'll find old chicken nuggets or something in there. I guess it's better than on the floor in plain view! Overall this is a great booster seat and since it converts to backless as well, I'm hopeful that it will last my daughter until the end of her car seat years.

I was able to try out this booster courtesy of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My favorite features of the TurboBooster are the easy installation with latch connectors, light weight, and the adjustable back rest and head rest. I used the high back mode of this booster for my 6 year old, who weighs just over 50 lbs. The latch connectors, pictured here, were super easy to install and tighten--awesome! I really appreciate a high back booster that can be installed with latch: it gives a bit more peace of mind, as the seatbelt will just have to restrain my child, and not the whole seat. I could carry the seat around one handed without difficulty, definitely a plus for parents or caregivers who are changing cars, carpooling, and juggling multiple kids and their gear. I also liked the ease of adjustability of the booster back height. It was quick to get it set up perfectly for my child. Something I think could be improved is adding an alert for proper belt path across the waist. The plastic at the shoulder which positions the shoulder belt is red--great!--but the path for the waist belt is not. I think it is easy for less informed caregivers, or even children buckling themselves, to forget that the belt needs to travel under the arm rests and not over. You can see in the photo below how, if you extend the back height, the belt path could be confused for over the arm rests instead of under. My son felt the seat was slightly less comfortable and slightly more difficult to buckle than his other seat, but these will not prevent me from using the seat in carpools or with the grandparents for short trip. It does seem well made and reliable.

My oldest just grew big enough to use a booster, and I was lucky enough to receive a Graco(R) TurboBooster(R) Stretch from the Stellar Product Testing Panel as her first stand alone booster. Because she’s still smaller, I kept the booster as a high back booster, but I really like that I can easily change the height on it and transform it to a backless booster when she’s big enough. The seat itself is light weight, and it took me less than a couple minutes to install the first time. We’ll be able to move this seat between cars as needed, which is really convenient for us! My daughter easily got herself into the seat and could buckle the belt by herself. The belt positions were lined up right so she looked safe and secure in the seat. She said she was very comfortable. Ultimately this booster is going to make our lives easier. My daughter is able to buckle and unbuckle herself while staying safe. I love that it’s a easy seat to install and adjust as she gets bigger or if we have another child riding with us.

I was looking for a second booster for my 6 year old to make pick up and drop off easier for my husband and I, when I was lucky enough to receive this booster seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used Graco before and loved the seats so I was excited to give this a try. When looking for a booster, high back is the way to go in terms of safety and I love that when she's old enough we can transition to a regular booster. Right out of the box set up was a breeze, it came in 3 parts. The base, back part, and sliding head rest. All 3 came together easily. Even if if I hadn't read the instructions I think I could have gotten it together easily. I have a smaller back seat area so putting in any car seat can be a challenge, so this wasn't more or less difficult in that sense from any other seat. One thing is that to tighten the seat in to place it requires you to pull two separate strings, I feel like this could have been streamlined to one string. Once installed my daughter was easily able to get in and out of it. It was easy to adjust to her height. She loved the cup holder and hideaway storage features. She uses the storage as a "car seat" for her stuffed animal. The booster itself could be a bit more padded for comfort. She hasn't complained about being uncomfortable but I know a cushy seat would be a bit better. The two sides by the rest are vented which serve nicely to keep her cool in the hot summer heat. I also love that the cover can be easily removed to wash. I love anything I can toss in the washing machine. Pros: love high back, can grow with her, ventilation on sides for comfort, cup holder and hideaway storage, washable Con: need to pull two strings to tighten during install, could be more padded for comfort (this is really what kept it from being 5 stars).

First I would like to thank Stellar Product Panel for the opportunity to test and evaluate this booster car seat. I put it in my primary car that I use everyday. I used this booster seat for my 6 year old daughter that is 60 lbs and 44 inches tall. The bottom of the booster seat was a perfect fit for her and it was a nice touch only having to use one handle to adjust the back and sides of the back of the booster seat. The extra cup holder was really nice and could hold a large water bottle without an issue. The actual beefiness of the car seat was lackluster. It wasn’t nearly as supportive and padded as my current booster seat.

I am amazed by the quality of this seat. It's very comfortable & my toddler loves it. I love the cub holder & the small drawer on the side to keep her snacks in. Easy to move between our 2 vehicles because of its light weight. Car straps fit perfectly in it. Strongly recommend

The seat was too wide for a mini cooper countryman. The seat also felt hard and seemed like it would be uncomfortable on a child’s bottom during long rides.

I purchased the same version 4 years ago but the quality was so much better. This one doesn’t have fabric over the armrests so it’s hard and the back lever to raise the headrest is cheaper plastic that isn’t rounded so it digs into the leather of your cars headrest. Overall just made cheaper and not as comfortable.

The quality seems to be poor, and it feel uncomfortable as it is a bit hard. Kids cannot sit on it for long trip

I was in a t bone accident and my son was in this seat. He was on the opposite side of impact and did sustain a fracture but overall, I am so thankful that this seat did WONDERFUL. I have a very petite son, 7, and about 40lbs.

Perfect for our car where we need to fit 3 car seats 3 across. This is the only booster that will fit because of its narrow footprint. Also my kid loves the cup holders and I love that they retract into the seat.

I purchased this booster seat today. As advertised easy set up. The only thing I noticed missing were anchor point restrains that usually hook into the ISOFIX points between the seats. These are supposed to provide added stability to the seat preventing it from rocking about

I bought this high back booster less than a year ago, and now the back has to be to the highest it can go and constantly it’s falling down. I constantly have to put it up for my son to ride in it the correct way. It’s even falling down while him riding in it!

Good seat but no latch system at all. I like the cupholders and everything else about it, just wish there were latches to hook to the car. I thought every carseat automatically came with those.. should be a give-in but this one doesn't have any..

This seat is easy to setup and install. It’s comfortable and appears to be safe. It’s so much easier to buckle your child in. I will be buying another one for my second car. Priced right too. Definitely worth your time to check this out.

Great seat that our young child can grow into and use until she no longer needs a seat and can use a seat belt.

This is the 2nd of these seats I buy. Not because i had issues with the first one, but because I wanted one for the 2nd vehicle! Very easy to put together. Easy installation in the vehicle. Adjustable seatbelt, cupholder and storage compartment are genius!

When I bought this car seat I never thought it be missing a part. Until I registered it & put it together help my child is big enough for it.

The back is hard to correct to the bottom but it seems sturdy.
