I highly recommend La Baby by JC Toys! My daughter got hers at around 12 months and still loves her. It's soft-bodied, vinyl limbs, and it's just realistic enough without being creepy. And it's washable which is huge.

Out of Ashton Drake, Paradise, and JC Toys, I think JC's Berenguer La Baby wins. The quality for the price is fantastic, and they look way more realistic than the others. My 3-year-old has the pink outfit one and it’s held up so well.
