We use it as a double, and it sucks. That said, I honestly don't think there exists a better option for a double inline stroller. They hall have issues, it's just a matter of which issues you're least bothered by. My biggest complaints: * The break does not work with the load of two kids. That stroller will start to slide away on minimal slopes. It is dangerous. * No matter what configuration you use, it is top heavy and tippy with two kids. It is dangerously top heavy if you only have a kid in the top seat. Since you need adapters to use it with two kids, the upper seat/bassinet/carseat is up and back a few inches from the original position. This redistributes the weight load enough to make the stroller wobbly. * The baby has to go on the bottom if you want to use the bassinet. This means you can't see the baby, and your toddler can throw shit on their face. * The rumble seat is infuriatingly tiny. My kids are tall, so ymmv. But my youngest is now 33.5 inches, and she really does not fit in the rumble seat comfortably. My oldest is 36 inches, and cannot sit in it safely. Her feet hang down enough to get hit going up a steep hill or going near a curb. Her head hits the sunshade in the closed and open position. * If you use the toddler seat and rumble seat, there's zero space. Have them both facing forward, and the upper kid has about two inches for their legs. If they so much as shift their weight, they kick the lower seat. You absolutely cannot recline either seat at all. They must be fully upright, or the lower backrest and upper footrest are touching. If you face the seats towards each other, the upper kid's feet are about six inches from the lower kid's face. Guess how well that turns out.....Facing both seats towards the handlebars is the best configuration. But it's not great, because the bottom kid is basically in the basket looking at the back of a seat. You really can't recline the seats or use the lower sundshade in this configuration. Whoever designed this and approved the design is clearly not a parent or someone who has spent time with children in strollers. Side by side doubles are much nicer overall. But they have limitations too. They don't fit through doorways, are hard to fold down, don't fit in many cars, and are heavy. We LOVE our bob Duallie.

V3 in-store impressions and note that Declan color is V3-only
We just tried out the V3 yesterday in store. A bummer that the bassinet doesn’t come with it, but know we want it. I think we’re going to go with the V3 just for ease for add on purchases down the line and having the newer model. We also really like the Declan color, which we were told only comes in the V3. The larger wheels are great and super easy to push around. We initially were looking at a different brand for the car seat, but after seeing the Aria we’re going to get that too. It is so light and just so easy to click in and out of everything.

The Rumbleseat V2+ and V3 come with adapters that work for the bassinet and Mesa car seat too, so if you get the Rumbleseat from the jump you don't need to purchase lower adapters. If you get the Rumbleseat V2, you'll also need to get lower adapters if you want to put the bassinet or car seat on the bottom. You can technically use the Rumbleseat (any version) from birth fully reclined with the infant insert. My first personally liked this more than being in the bassinet, but the benefit of getting the Rumbleseat V2+ or V3 instead of a V2 on sale (all of them work with the Vista V2) is that the adapters are compatible with the car seat and bassinet.

Notes on Rumbleseat naming (V2+), compatibility and timing for new V3
The new Rumbleseat is called "V2+" and is marketed as being compatible with either the V2 or V3. It's the one that is full price currently. The old one (which is just called "V2") is on sale.
