We got the BIERUM bassinet because it was affordable and had wheels. It's easy to move from room to room. BUT - the mattress is like a rock. My baby wouldn't sleep in it until we added a quilted bassinet sheet. Also, on our hardwood floors, it felt a bit tippy when I leaned on the side. Make sure you strap it to the bed frame if using as a bedside sleeper.

Positive experience with BIERUM for mobility and assembly
I have the BIERUM and I love it. It was super easy to put together, like 10 minutes. The wheels make it so easy to roll around the house during the day. I do wish it went a little higher though - my bed is quite tall and it doesn't quite reach the top of the mattress. Overall great value for the price.

Warning about BIERUM tipping hazard
I saw a review where someone said theirs tipped over when their toddler pulled on the side. The base isn't very heavy. I'd only use it if you can strap it to something solid.

BIERUM as a budget-friendly, easy-to-assemble option
I ordered the BIERUM after seeing it on a few 'best budget bassinets' lists. It literally took me 15 minutes to set up alone at 8 months pregnant. The height adjust is nice but it's not infinite - there are set notches so if your bed is between heights it's not perfect. But for $100 it's hard to beat. Wheels are smooth on carpet.

Comparison with Halo and general satisfaction
We went with BIERUM after returning the Halo (too $$). Honestly, it's fine. The side comes down easily for bedside mode. The storage underneath is handy for diapers and wipes. My only complaint is that the mattress pad isn't super breathable - we put a waterproof cover over it. Baby sleeps well enough.
