Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (Cullen)
The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat in the Cullen pattern is a multi-mode car seat that transitions from rear-facing harness (4-50 lbs) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lbs) to highback booster (40-100 lbs). Its key feature is a 4-position Extend2Fit panel that provides up to 5 inches of additional legroom for extended rear-facing use, and it includes a no-rethread Simply Safe Adjust harness, 10-position headrest, and dual cup holders. Note that while highly recommended for big toddlers, some users report difficult installation and bulkiness, and the booster belt guide is shorter than dedicated boosters, so it may not be ideal for long-term booster use.

Watch Out For
Community Q&A
- Is the Extend2Fit 3-in-1 worth it over the regular Extend2Fit?
- Only if you need the booster mode for a short time or want the convenience of buckle storage. Most users recommend getting a dedicated booster later.
- Does it fit in small cars?
- It fits in many compact cars when properly installed, but can be tight front-to-back. Some users in NYC find it workable.
- What are the main installation difficulties?
- Tightening the seat rear-facing can be painful due to bulk, and accessing the belt path is tricky. Some also note tricky seatbelt lockoffs.
- Is it good for big babies?
- Yes, it's highly recommended for big babies because of the 50lb rear-facing limit and extendable legroom.
Compared To
vs Graco Extend2Fit (non-3-in-1)
The 3-in-1 adds booster mode but some find it unnecessary and less ideal than a dedicated booster later. The 3-in-1 has convenience features like buckle storage recesses and smoother harness adjustment.
vs Evenflo Revolve360
Some users prefer the Revolve360 for its rotating feature, which makes loading easier, despite the Extend2Fit's higher limits.
vs Britax, Chicco NextFit, Diono Radian
The Extend2Fit is often chosen over Britax/Chicco for higher rear-facing limits and over Diono for easier installation and lower price.

NYC parents discuss Extend2Fit bulk and installation in city cars
Fits in our compact car (Civic) but front passenger seat has to be forward a bit... seat is very comfortable for LO but really bulky. The installation is a pain, we have a certified tech do it twice a year.

Comparison of regular vs 3-in-1 Extend2Fit for big baby
I have the 3-in-1 and I love the buckle pockets. They are little plastic divots that hold the buckles out of the way... The high back booster belt guide on the 3 in 1 is a solid inch shorter than most dedicated boosters, so it won't last as long in highback mode.

User frustration with installation and harness tightening
I hate installing this car seat and tightening the harness is such a pain... It’s so hard to tighten the straps... I dread having to move it to another car.

Recommendation for Extend2Fit over other brands for big toddlers
We have the Extend2Fit 3-in-1 for our 99th percentile 2-year-old and love it... He has tons of legroom rear-facing... I tried the Britax One4Life and the Chicco NextFit Zip and neither harness adjusted as smoothly as the Extend2Fit.

Positive Canadian review on sale and value
Just bought the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 from BabiesRUs... on sale for $299.99 CAD. The fabric feels nicer than the regular Extend2Fit and the cup holders are a nice touch. My 7-month-old seems really comfortable in it.
