Perfect for our needs, easy to install, weatherproof and takes up minimal space. It took all of ten minutes to install and works beautifully for our needs, would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a gate that take up almost no space.

Check out the VEVOR retractable gate. It’s cheap and pretty sturdy. No bottom bar to trip over which is nice. Only downside is it can sag a bit over time but it’s easy to tighten.
Detailed pros and cons of VEVOR gate after one month of use
We got the VEVOR retractable gate about a month ago. So far it’s great. Super easy to use one-handed, even with a baby in the other arm. Installation took about 20 minutes with a drill. It’s holding up against our 40lb dog, but I’m not sure I’d trust it with a larger one. The mesh is okay, but I can see it fraying eventually. For the price, I’d buy it again.
VEVOR vs. more expensive brands: good budget pick
I have both the VEVOR and a more expensive gate. The VEVOR works perfectly fine. You don’t need to spend a ton. The only thing is the bottom hook sometimes pops out on carpet, but a bit of velcro fixed that. Great for spaces up to 57 inches.
