New Jolly Pets Teaser Ball Dog Toy 8-Inch (Blue)

Very durable toy BUT: Inner ball has a small open port/hole that fill with water when the dogs go to fetch it in water. The ball duo then tends to sink below the water line and becomes very heavy. Also, after time the plastic outer ball becomes scratched and scarred so you will need to sand it down with sandpaper now and then, My dogs have returned with bloody gums from being cut up by the shards of plastic. If you silicone the inner ball port AND sand the ball frequently its a cool product! Indestructible pretty much so...hassle free NOT!

I bought my girl Alayna the 10" Extra Large size. In rough playing with her, I know that her jaws are very powerful, Rotts and GSDs typically are. The outer ball is very thick, very hard plastic. I believe that those who said that their dogs had destroyed it, that if they got a size or two larger, they will find that their dog CAN'T destroy it. Alayna loves playing with it by herself, but she will bring it to me for me to roll for her to go fetch. Thank you very much for making a great toy that is indestructible. The best toy ever!!

This teaser ball is one of the few that actually last longer than minutes. The outer shell is extremely tough I have two 100# bully/ Great Pyrenees mixes, and a pittie /cattle dog (who is the REAL DESTROYER) they love to try to get the inner ball out. Usually takes them at least a week sometimes longer for the little one gets the middle pulled out (THIS IS INCREDIBLE as most toys even every brand indestructible types, she kills sooner) then they all play with the outer shell for usually a month or more. We LOVE this toy!!

My two LOVE this ball. They love to shake it and play a super modified version of soccer. They did eventually crack the outer shell but as hard as the plastic is, it was soft enough that they could still play as they slowly broke it down. This is one our go-to “mostly-semi-indestructible” toys. Worth even second/penny.

After 5 years, our neighbor's dog needed a toy replacement. Her old Jolly ball was faded from the sun and rain and cracked from rough play, but still useable (just a bit sharp in some spots for human hands). This one is exactly the same size and durability, so glad it is still sold since it is her favorite toy.

My pit bull/boxer mix is rarely more than five feet away from his Jolly Ball or Teaser Ball. He has loved it since the moment he got! I got him a new one because after five years of heavy play-time, a friend of mine took the inside ball out and gave it to him (thinking he had been teased long enough). Of course, he destroyed the inside ball immediately and though he still liked the Teaser Ball, it wasn't the same. When I take him for a walk, before he'll go outside he has to find his Teaser Ball so he can bring it along. He carries it like a badge of honor through the neighborhood. This is the ONLY toy I have ever bought him that he has not destroyed- ever! He can destroy a Kong in 30 minutes. This is the BEST investment I have ever made in dog toys for Frio! Thank you!!!

We have at least 2 teaser balls of each size - some days the dog goes to the smallest and will only play with those. The larger ones have their days as well. We still have the first one bought; a few swipes with a Dremel sanding drum when it gets rough around the edges and it’s back in play.

My parents bought this for my 48 lb American Bully that has destroyed all the “indestructible” toys. It lasted a year before she finally got the ball out. Definitely recommend.

Our dog is a labradoodle cross. I bought her one of these balls when she was a pup and it instantly became her favourite. She is now 11years old and it is still her favourite. It has faded to pink and has a small crack but is still going strong and she knows where it is every minute of the day. We can tell her to go and get 'big red ball' and off she trots to get it . At the moment it is in her bed with her. Thank you from Kassie for years of fun.

Our younger dog LOVES to play! We are always looking for new and durable toys to keep him busy! This is one of our favorites! He absolutely goes crazy over any ball and this one is extra fun because he can push it around with his feet and has to think about how to be able to pick it up! Its great for both outside and inside and easy to clean. I hear him in the other room playing with it by himself all of the time! Definitely recommend for playful pups.

You will not be disappointed in this ball. Our girl Sheeba absolutely loves it. Yes, eventually she did chew through her first one and her second one, but it was not an easy task for her.she is on to her third one now (she is 9 years old) and we really only replaced the last one because she got it for a present. Sheeba won't ay with any other ball and she is so protective of it. I highly recommend this ball to all my friends and family.

I got our first ball second hand, through a family friend. My dog absolutely loved it, but it was a bit too big for him. I got my puppy (now 1.5 yrs) a small and medium ball to see which size would be better. The medium is the perfect one! He enjoys playing with it every day! He destroyed the small, but still enjoys the medium! If you find the right size that your dog enjoys, this is a long lasting toy! Thank you Jolly Pets!

I thought it would be much bigger like a soccer ball that’s what I’ve had before. Kinda expensive for its small size. My dog is a larger breed golden retriever and this isn’t too interesting to her cuz her paws don’t fit in the holes. Neither does her snout. She’s smart enough to figure out she can’t get that inner ball. Best for a smaller breed. I wish I could find the soccer ball size again. Jolly Pets? Any help?

I have an American bulldog/pitbull cross- he can literally chew through anything with little effort. All of the toys we have given him he pulverizes, including "hard to demolish" toys- until this ball. We call it "ball ball," because it has a ball within a ball. My dog will carry it around for hours proudly, showing it off to anyone who comes by. They are east to throw because the holes are big enough for fingers to go through, and easy for the dog to pick up and carry. The only thing we have found is he will scrape his teeth on the outside and plastic shaving will come off. Our dog has also been able to, with lots of work, peel back one of the holes and get the center ball out, but it takes him a long time to do so, and he still plays with it after the center ball is out. We have found that the blue colored ones are not as strong as the red. Please never stop making these, they are the best toy ever!

Nice product, but unfortunately my dogs show no real interest in them. They'd rather run around grabbing sticks and tug ropes and chasing each other. Wish I'd only bought the 10" to trial and error it first. I bought the 6", 8" and 10". Hopefully with more training they will eventually play with them. Otherwise they are just a lawn ornament.

When the inner ball is combined with the tube of pumpkin peanut butter and a few treats, it becomes a long lasting entertainment! Both my big girl, a saluki/shepherd and my mini aussie spend over a half an hour trying to lick the goodies. - It’s a bit awkward to clean up, but it is worth it. - It tires out my girls!!

My dog loves this ball. He even plays with it in the snow and he hates the cold. I will definitely be ordering a few more. The medium is a good size for my 70lb bulldog. He is able to grip it good and run with it.

My 2 malinois love the ball, but had it in pieces in about 4 months. I did buy a new one , it stood up to some pretty aggressive play for a while, and for the price is still a great toy

Got this as a grab bag gift. The pups have a great interest in it, will be good for a small group or one pup to chase, big chewers likely to make quick work of it if left to it.

Booger is a 175 lb. Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland (Landseer). It was very difficult finding a toy that was as durable as this ball. It is his favorite by far.

The toy is a great concept. Our lab loved chewing it and she was able to cause quite a bit of damage very quickly.

My dog is not even remotely interested in this toy.

He loves it. It's his outdoor toy. He would go all day if we let him. We've had it for about 3 years now and it's pretty sun faded and has plenty of teeth marks in it. Also started developing a crack on the one hole, but otherwise its been incredibly durable. My partner can kick it hard across the yard in steel toes and it hasn't broken yet (that's probably what the crack is from). It has caused his gums to bleed a handful of times so maybe beware of that just because of the hard plastic if your pup is a tough chewer/biter, but otherwise my dog would literally kill for this toy. It's his absolute favorite thing.

My German Short hair loves this ball worked on it for 6 years, green ball almost out. So I bought him a new one. This material is not the same at all! He chewed the side open in 1 hour. I compared the two ball and the old one is much thicker plastic. So sad that they are making these less durable.

Compared to the old ones these are extremely low quality at a high price. The plastic is thin, hard, and brittle. Even gentle play indents the plastic and is bad for dog teeth. These are not like the old ones that were more of a rubber feel. Do not recommend it unless you want your dog to break a tooth.

Watch your dogs playing with this toy. My dogs snout gets stuck! He managed to free himself each time but the last time he started to panic. The toy has been taken away from him. Other than that he loved playing with it. I went according to the sizing chart too. Medium dog

I bought this particular ball because I thought it would be a good attention getter for my dog. It only took him about 3.5 hours and it was destroyed. The bigger holes allowed him to get an angle on the surface and started tearing through it.

I have 3 dogs, and all of them really love this toy. So much so that I have to set timers to make sure everyone gets a turn! It keeps them happily occupied for quite some time, but it is loud on our hard floors so now it's an outside toy, ha!

I don’t know if it’s the way Remus plays with it but his mouth get stuck! The last time it got stuck he started panicking a little. He’s a mini Aussie medium sizes.

I have looked EVERYWHERE for this toy.. the only thing visible is Jolly Ball.. I have tired other like the ball and rope. they destroyed the rope, the one with the handle.. yeah. this one was run over and is still the favorite the issue is I have 5 dogs and I don;t have money to buy them all.. I tried the chuck it.. but eventually they can chew them. Diva uses this as a pacifer.. soo happy to have found them!! my rating is A+++++++

I bought one of these for our dog when she was a puppy. She is now 6years old and it is still her favorite toy. She knows it by name (big red ball) and knows exactly where it is at all times. She takes to bed and often just lies with her head on it. I was really pleased to see you are still making them for I dread the day it wears out. Sadly, there is no fun to be had.Too hard - my dog will not play with this ball. I am so disappointed as I thought this would be a great way to entertain him when we are away; sadly he has no interest at all as he can’t pick it up easily; my husband took the inner ball out and he chewed on that until he compressed it and was able to chew pieces off.

This ball is awesome for pit bulls. I have two of them. One loves tennis balls. The other one loves the teaser ball. Cant live without it. Hes gone through at least a dozen in his life and hes about 10. Ill include some pictures of the balls that once were, and the one hes recently working on. Luckily he does not swallow any of the plastic chips.

This toy keeps our labradoodle busy for long stretches of time. He never gives up on trying to get that ball out! It has held up to some pretty aggressive play so far! We do not let him have it alone to be on the safe side as the plastic isnt quite as strong as other Jolly Pets balls. It is a great rainy day toy to tire him out!

Our 95lb Old English Bulldog loves this ball more than any of his other toys. I would highly recommend. The only thing I would wish for is that after he has chewed on it, the outside plastic gets sort of sharp. He likes to play tug with it and the hard plastic makes his gums bleed. None the less he loves it.

My dog loves the trader ball. This is his fifth one. Glad I finally found a place who sold the extra large. I order an extra large from other places. But the would send me a small or a medium one. And I would have to return it then.

This was my lab’s and pittie’s favorite toy. Hours upon hours spent playing together by themselves and even more playing fetch with it. Best money I ever spent on a dog toy by far.

I bought this a few weeks ago & my dog LOVES it but the sharp edges of the holes cut her chin & mouth when she carried it in her mouth. I'm sad to say I had to throw it away to prevent further injury. 😥

Bought this toy for our dog and her sister to play with.....it lasted about 30 seconds before it was punctured. Not a quality dog toy. I will not buy again. Seems cheaply made .

My dog has had her original Teaser Ball for years, it has teeth marks in it but still very usable. The new ball arrived and I gave it to her. Within minutes she was destroying the ball. After looking at both, the new ball was made of much thinner plastic. In no time, she was tearing pieces of plastic off, later throwing up small plastic shards. I questioned customer service and was told the new ones were made thinner by a new manufacturer and they were looking for a new company that would use thicker product for the toy. I did get a coupon for more toys, the suggestion to buy a different toy. Why would I want more? She luckily enough was able to rid her body if what she ate. Sad, her old one is her favorite toy, I was looking for a back up as the seam is starting to pull apart. If you have a chewer, do not buy this product. If I could give more 5 star reviews, Toy 0 Customer Service 1 Durability 0 Value for your money 0 Would I purchase it again? Only in person so I can see the quality, no more online orders.

My dog quickly became a fan of the jolly ball! It was finally a toy he wasn’t able to destroy within a day.

I bought this ball last week. My dog, lab, enjoyed playing with it, but got his leg and mouth stuck in one of the holes. It is now in the garbage. He plays with toys on his back sometimes and with his feet. Leg went in the hole, mouth on ball, the rest was not fun.. He began screaming. I was finally able to get the ball off of him. The holes should not so large. Not safe. And he was not unattended. I was right next to him when it happened. Thankfully

My German Shepherd destroyed this in less than a week. We've purchased these before and they lasted much longer. Seems as though the durability and quality has declined

We have a 3 year old German Shepherd and her 1st two teaser balls lasted almost a year each. I have bought 4 balls in the past few months and they don't last more than a week. The plastic is so thin and it is easily destroyed just with normal fetching. She is not a big chewer but she will fetch it 1000 times a day. This is her favorite toy EVER but the quality has declined so much I will never buy another one. I would give it zero rating if I could (but the original 3 years ago would have been 5 stars).

Walter is an 8yo Boxer (born deaf/rescue foster fail). The blue Teaser ball is his favorite, we replace it yearly and consider that a very long lasting toy considering how often and how hard he plays with it. Being deaf, his ‘voice’ is a bit different and to hear his bark and growl while playing non stop is hilarious. This toy brings him So much happiness. Yes, we do keep a spare in case of emergency; he can’t go without it.

This is the absolute best purchase that we have ever made for our dogs. This ball is practically indestructible. This ball lasted through 2 Rottweilers for about 10 years and then we passed it on to my daughter who had 2 Pit Bulls. It lasted with the Pit Bulls for about 5 years until one of the Pit Bulls with an extremely high pray drive eventually destroyed it. I continuously recommend this ball to everyone that has dogs. 💚

This was the second Teaser Ball I've purchased for my pit mix puppy. He loves chasing, carrying, and shaking it. Due to the open design, it is less durable than his other Jolly Pet toys. Dogs with strong enough jaws can bite and deform the edges of the openings, so I check regularly to make sure he isn't getting off pieces. Despite this, the enjoyment he gets and its durability compared to other brands of toys mean I'll be keeping a Teaser Ball in his toy box.

This is actually my border collies favorite toy. We tie a rope to it and she goes nuts with it. Plays every day!! I did not buy it, my neighbor has a black lab and she did not like it. It ended up in our yard and now my dog LOVES it.

We had an Australian Shepherd years ago and his favorite toy by far was this Teaser Ball. We just got another Australian Shepherd, and despite all the other great toys he has, his absolute favorite is the Teaser Ball. He chases it, tosses it in the air, and pounces on it as if it were alive. Please keep making this ball. It’s a clear hit.

I bought this ball from Chewy because we have one that has been outside for over a year and is still in great condition. I gave it to my puppy earlier today and she has practically destroyed it. There are teeth marks all over it and little plastic pieces are coming off. It is no where near as durable as the other one. I was very disappointed and will not be purchasing another

While I thought I purchased larger size, I ended up with 2 of these somehow. I gave it to my 65-pound Golden Retriever. I think it was too small for her because she was splintering it, and small pieces were coming off so I took it away so she wouldn't swallow the plastic. She had a larger one before but unfortunately my Berner got ahold of it and popped the ball inside. This was her favorite toy. If dropped, it sounds like a plastic bowling ball hitting the floor.
