With a 5 1/2 year old and an 8 year old (and all the friends and activities that come with growing kids), this booster checks all the boxes. I was able to easily install it in the third row of our mid-size SUV (with LATCH connectors no less!) when we unexpectedly needed to take a friend home from school the other day. The back is easy to add and remove, meaning I have a seat that works for both of my kiddos in a snap. And the color-coded belt paths made it easy for my youngest to use the seat right out of the box— I would definitely recommend this to others. I have been searching for a high back booster to transition my oldest to & haven’t had much luck until this one. Unlike some of the others we tried it feels more sturdy & protective, also the color coded belt paths made it much easier for my son to see the defined spots for belt to go. He also says that the seat is very soft & comfortable which will be nice for longer trips since it seems most boosters don’t have much cushion. I also really love that it has a little more coverage on sides than most others, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to find a safe & comfortable seat for their newly transitioning kids. I was SO excited to receive this Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First off, the Asher color was a great, neutral color for my black leather seats without being too boring. I was most intrigued by the "crotch strap" that assisted with proper positioning of the lap belt. I saw this as a nice transition from the 5 point harness that allowed my child to buckle himself properly. The latch system was great - though not as easy as some other brands. But it's not meant to be AS tight as the other seats, so I was OK with it. The material is easy to clean and comfortable enough. I like the seat, overall, and would recommend it to others.

I am very happy with this booster. Right out of the box, I first noticed that the seat looked to be sturdy and of good quality. My son says that the seat is very comfortable and he can easily and independently get himself buckled and unbuckled. At the same time, it feels safe and sturdy. I received this car seat through the Stellar Product testing panel. My 6 year old son was really excited about the seat. He found it very comfortable and padded, and easily used the belt positioning features. We tried the high back function. Unfortunately the seat does not fit well in my car. Due to the position of the latches and the width of the seat it was too hard to get the seat belt buckled. We tried it for one or two days and it became clear that it wasn’t going to work. Even with adult help it was too hard to buckle. I wanted to love this seat, but it just didn’t work in my vehicle. We weren’t able to use it long enough to determine if the other features like the washable covers were valuable. Britax makes great products, we have had many others from them, but this is the first with vehicle fit issues. Great seat if it fits your vehicle.

We had the opportunity to test this booster thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are already fans of the convertible car seats by Britax. The impeccable safety record is the most important to us. The color-coded belt paths make it easy for all of us to see how to use the seat properly. It is fairly easy to change to a backless booster, although I was convinced I broke the seat based on the huge crunch sound it made when the back came off. The manual described it as a “click”. Perhaps having a tab or something to push rather than just rotate the back until you force it apart would make it a bit more user friendly. Although, it is a great thing that the back doesn’t come apart from the booster too easily! My favorite feature of this booster is how easy it is to adjust the height of the headrest! Oh, and who wouldn’t LOVE two dishwasher safe cup holders?!

The seats seem to be well constructed with nice fabric finishes. It's a quality product that I'm accustomed to getting when you buy Britax products. The only reason I deducted a star in the rating is that the manufacturers date on the seat is July 19, 2018 with an expiration date of 2028. It will work for us but it is disappointing to know the seat is already almost 2 years old just out of the box.

I was excited to receive this high back booster from Stellar Panel to review with my 8 year old daughter. She was less than thrilled. She has hated every seat we’ve tried and we’ve tried so many. We unboxed the seat and right off the bat the seat feels sturdy and the material is soft and thick. The light gray color looks great with our black seats and doesn’t get hot in the sun like so many dark seats. It was so easy to install. My favorite part is the red marked path for the seatbelt ensuring she’s safely buckled in. She climbed in and tried out many positions, we used the seat for all of our back and fourth for a week before she decided this is definitely the seat for her. She said it’s comfortable, easy and isn’t bulky like a baby seat. This is definitely the seat we’ll purchase for our second child to use as well. I would confidently recommend this seat to friends and family members.

We just bought this for our 7-year-old. Love the color, mulberry. The structure and safety features prompted us to purchase this seat. It was easy to install!! The only complaint: but easily rectified, is the lower secure guard clip was uncomfortable for our daughter. We removed it. The seat was also very comfortable and looks easy to clean when needed.

This seat has been great for my son. He just turned 5 years old and is very tall (50 inches) and we have had a hard time finding a seat that will keep him safe and keep him comfortable. We love how he has the safety features, but also has a little more "freedom" to see and move about. I would definitely recommend this seat.

I received a Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode as a review for the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm in love with it. When I first got it, I wasn't sure if I would use it with the back as my seven year old has been in a booster seat for 2 years. She really wanted to keep it on and she seems to really like having it. She can still look out the window and see everything. She likes that she has a place to rest her head when she is tired. I love how easy it was to install and adjust. The product came with the back off but it was really easy to put the back on the seat. It just snaps into place. The fabric seems really nice and not flashy. We have the black and gray version. I love that it has a clip at the top for her seatbelt, so it's easy for her to buckle herself. My favorite part is that it attaches to your seat which our other booster didn't. I don't feel like her seat will move while we are driving. It stays in place. I would highly recommend this seat to my friends and family.

This was our first experience using a booster and it was a great one. My son is about to grow out of his 5 point harness so we decided to start practicing with a high back booster. It was super easy to put together and adjust to his height and even easier to install. The manual is easy to understand and I felt confident that we had it installed correctly. The seat belt paths made it really easy for my son to buckle himself in quickly. It only took him a few tries to really get the process down and he loves being able to do it himself. The washable cover is great and easy to wipe down. My son also said it's very comfortable to sit in, the fabric is breathable which will be ideal in the summer. I also love that the cup holders are removable and dishwasher safe and they fit my son's larger cup. His last seat's cup holders were too small and water kept getting spilled in my car, these were definitely an upgrade! Overall we love this booster seat and highly recommend it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this booster. This is our first Britax car seat. The Highpoint booster was easy to put together, easy to install, and is easy to move to other vehicles if needed. We opted to put this in my husband’s vehicle which is our secondary vehicle since we already had a seat for our 5yo in our primary vehicle, and needed to up our youngest into a FF transition booster seat in his vehicle. The gray color is perfect for a gender neutral seat, and my son said it was very comfortable on an hour long ride once we got the seat height in the correct position for his shoulders. We will probably take out the front buckle guide eventually since he doesn’t really need it. Our biggest complaints are that it is a little hard to get the seat buckled with our son in it and he couldn’t get it buckled himself, and it does not recline at all and with the crotch guide he is unable to scoot out to recline and keep his head and entire upper body from falling forward when he fell asleep. The seat does have latch to anchor it but our vehicle is older and doesn’t have latch so we have to keep it buckled when he is not in it. I would recommend this seat as an alternative but I find it’s price point to be a little high compared to others on the market for the same type of booster seat.

Based off my sons weight and height per the instruction recommendation I used the booster with the high back attached. Out of the box I noticed the booster was very light in weight. Attaching the high back was a very quick and simple 2 step process, attach the cup holders (2 of them!) and the booster was ready to be installed. This booster has the Latch system to hold the booster in place which ensures that if there is any impact, the seat is secure and my child wont be thrown or the booster wont slide from underneath him thereby causing the seat belt to possibly injure my child. This is important because many booster seats rely on the weight of the child to keep the seat in place. I Love that its easy to install and that its light enough to easily transfer the booster (with or without the high back) from one car to another car. The color coded belt paths makes it a no brainer as to where the seat belt is to be attached. The side impact panels on the high back head rest is another feature that I like. I am anticipating that I will definitely be using the high back mode for the maximum height and weight allowed. If I had one suggestion it would be to add a little table that can somehow attach to the chair so that my child could set his books or tablet on.

I was given the Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very impressed with how easy it was to put together and how light weight it is. Moving the booster to another car won't be a hard task, the lower connectors connect to the seat anchors easily and release with a push of a button. My son's favorite thing about the Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat is how comfortable it is for him. Usually, he gets hot pretty fast and feels trapped by the head supports, but this was not an issue with this booster seat. In this seat, he has room to move while still having all the cushions and support where he needs it. My favorite is how easy it is to clean! The fabric is easy to wipe down for quick cleans, and the cover is easy to remove for deep washing machine cleans. Another bonus is the color coded seat-belt paths make it so easy for my son to know exactly where the belt needs to go. I feel very confident that my child is safely and securely seated.

It was so convenient to grab it right out of the box and begin setting it up right away. It is extremely light weight, so it won’t be too difficult to move it from vehicle to vehicle. We love the color of the booster as well and how comfortable it is for my daughter to sit in. She says it is her favorite booster yet! The Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat definitely helps with comfort for her. She is able to have appropriate support while still able to be safe in her seat. One of the best features of the seat is the color coded seatbelt path. This allows for my child to quickly buckle herself in safely and with confidence. Another great feature is how easy the seat is to clean. It is as easy as a quick wipe down. The last thing I wanted to mention is just the fact that I know my child is safe in this seat. I am loving the Highpoint booster! I have been using it mostly for my 4 year old son who has recently grown big enough to use a booster seat. The belt positioners are great for helping me make sure he is safe and I love the belt hook between his legs so I know he isn't gradually slouching/sliding down and into an incorrect position. My 6 year old daughter has also used it and it is super easy to adjust the headrest height so the belts are positioned correctly. My son hasn't quite figured out how to buckle the belt himself but my daughter had no problem using the color-coded belt paths to get herself buckled in correctly. The back is also very easy to take off if we want to take to another car. It is pretty wide (and heavy) with the headrest on so I envision using it mostly in our minivan where it fits comfortably. Our second row now has two boosters with generous head protection (including this one) and a forward-facing convertible carseat and there is ample room for all three. We have been using Britax car seats since my children were infants. So naturally, when my 7 year old finally started to outgrow her convertible car seat, Britax was our number one choice. Safety is my main concern when choosing a car seat, and I really like the multi-layer protection and flame retardant fabric. It was easy to install too! Of course my daughter liked all the color options and ultimately chose the green ombré. We are currently using the high back booster, but I love that this should be the last car seat we have to buy since it will grow with my daughter and can turn into a backless booster. We purchased this Highpoint belt positioning booster seat six months ago for our 6 year old grandson and are extremely pleased with the product. Right out of the box, I determined that this seat had quality of design and construction. Our grandson finds it to be very comfortable. I really like how well the seatbelt positioning bracket integrates with the shoulder harnesses in our various vehicles, in each vehicle it works very well with the shoulder harness, always keeping the harness correctly positioned even after extended wear and our six year old's wiggling around. Likewise, the lap belt guides keep the lap belt correctly positioned despite our grandson's movement. Both the shoulder harness positioning bracket and the lap belt guide allow the vehicles seatbelts belts to easily extend and retract. The fabric materials are easy to care for and appear to be quite durable. All in all, this product deserves a full 5-star rating.

I worry that any product I use on my child could be harmful. I always search multiple reviews before any purchase. Britax always gets top ratings for safety, so I put my trust in their car seats.

I keep my kids in 5 point seats as long as possible with a lot of my doing that being because I worried about the lower belt not being in the right position. With this seat the lower belt is held in place where it belongs and the shoulder height of the belt is held in place with the seat. It is easy for my daughter to buckle herself and be buckled properly with the lap piece there for her to put the lap belt thru. My daughter also told me the seat is comfortable to ride in and she loves that she has 2 cup holders. This seat was super easy to install, took me all of maybe 5 minutes to have it installed properly the first time doing it.Adjusting the seat to have the top part of the seat belt be where it needs to be for older kids is easy and can be done with out having to remove the whole seat from the car since the adjustment is done with the seats head rest. Over all I am very happy with this seat, I have loved Britax forever and I am loving how this seat makes the transition to a booster easy because the kids have the help of the lap strap to learn the proper way a seat belt should fit them.

The Britax Highpoint Booster was very to put together and install. Which was a major bonus for me! We are currently using this product as a high back booster (child is 43lbs). The color coded belt paths are excellent indicators for how the seatbelt is supposed to run through and is easy for my 6 year old to buckle through properly. Although, we have had some issues with the seatbelt getting twisted along the top run through. I love the wide side impact panels, definitely feels like a very safe booster seat as well as very comfortable! I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a booster seat! As a parent I have peace of mind knowing the fabrics are flame retardant and that the cover can be removed easily for washing. My favorite feature of this booster seat is the color-coded seat-belt paths. These allow you to easily identify where the seat belt needs to be routed. The only thing that I didn't really like was the width of the seat. It could make for a tight fit if installing multiple car seats.

My 5.5 year old son is on the lower end of the weight/height limit and transitioning him to this high back booster seat from a five point harness was easy for him. I will note that he does not wiggle out of his seat or play with his buckles, or tries to move when restrained. Otherwise, I would definitely had kept him in a five point harness. My son loves sitting in his Britax Highpoint Booster, commenting on how comfortable it is and how awesome it is to have two cup holders (this is great for keeping drinks away from his little sister). According to my husband, the installation was a breeze compared to our other car seats (easy LATCH connectors) and he won't dread needing to move the car seat to different cars when needed. I really like the narrow fit, the ease of adjusting the headrest, and the red colored belt paths so you know where the seat belts should be positioned (lap belt underneath both arm rests). My son can't buckle himself in (but can unbuckle himself) like he can with the 5 point harness, but it is easy enough for me to fit the belt through the belt positioning crotch strap. Just make sure you have enough slack then tighten. I can see why caregivers can find it annoying, but I think it is a great safety feature! Overall, the Britax Highpoint is well made with side impact protection and easy to clean fabric that looks stylish while keeping my child safe in the car. The 10 year expiration will allow us to use this car seat and transition to backless booster until my son grows out of it, which is really great! My son is six years old and 45” tall. We had needed to switch to a high-back booster since his weight was rapidly about to age him out of his car seat. However, researching boosters can be overwhelming to say the least! When we received the Britax Highpoint 2-Stage Belt Positioning Booster Car Seat, we were pleasantly surprised with the simple and sleek design. It was a bit tricky to place the high-back portion into the booster, we found it easiest to place on a flat surface to insert. The rest of the install was a breeze with the color coded seat-belt paths! My husband was thrilled compared to our previous car seats! The install by far was his favorite part. As a mom of two kids who suffer from car sickness, I was a fan of how easily the cover and cup holders are removed for cleaning. The Britax Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat was SO easy to put together and install. The quick-push lower connectors are game changing as it makes connecting the booster seat to the seat in the car so effortless and easy. The design and look of the booster seat is streamlined but also safety driven. I love knowing that my child is protected by the 3 layers of side impact protection. Having a cover that is easy to remove and is machine washable plus be dryer safe is a must for kids and busy families. The cover is very soft and plush and the naturally flame retardant fabric puts me at ease knowing there are no FR chemicals. The color coded seat-belt path sets my son up for independent success in wearing his seat belt correctly and safely. The bright red guides are easy to see and easy to follow. The SecureGuard Clip in the middle of the seat is perfect for positioning the seat belt over my son’s lap and reminds him where the seat belt belongs. We are using the booster seat in its high back form but I love that it can transition to a backless booster while still using the seat-belt guides. I don’t have a single complaint about this booster seat and trying to pick my favorite feature is hard. I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Parent Panel and it was fine enough, but rather wide. It would not fit in my third row single seat, like if two fo the 3 seats were laying down it would not fit in three single seat. Was pretty comfy from what my 3 yr old said. I did like that I could easily clean out the cup holders. The head rest raises super high. My husband joked that I, at 5’2, could sit in it because it goes so high. Overall, I don’t know that I would buy this one due just to the width and it was heavy to transport from car to car, but if that doesn’t bother you it seems comfy and very sturdy.

Great booster! It comes in two pieces and was a snap to put together (going from backless booster to full back booster). We put this seat in our third row, and my kids have had no trouble buckling and unbuckling themselves on their own. Plus, it was really simple for my 7 year old and 5 year old to swap out in the seat, since the height of the headrest adjusts so easily. The color-coded belt paths are nice on the sides, but I think the belt clip in the crotch is a little unnecessary since the side guides appear to keep the belt in proper alignment across the lap -- but it is an extra safety check, which is hard to turn your nose up at! This booster seat is very well designed. It feels really secure and the quick connect is amazing. While it is not a deciding factor, my little one thought she was so cool in her purple booster seat! As messy as she is, having an easily washable cover is a top-notch design. It even has cup holders which is a nice addition. I love that I can use it now as a high-back booster and later as just a booster. Overall, I am extremely impressed with every aspect of the Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster seat. We have several boosters, and this seems to be the highest quality. The fabric is soft and easy to wash. It was super easy to install and easy to detach from the back to have it serve as a backless booster. This is the first booster we've had that "installs" which is much easier and leads to less tossing of the booster seat in the car! My kids also love the cup holders. The Highpoint 2-stage Belt Positioning Booster is incredibly easy to assemble with the easy to follow instructions. Within a short time of securing the lower connectors we were ready to go in the booster with backrest attached. This backrest booster seat appears well-made. The color-coded seatbelt paths, and soft fabric throughout the seat, ensures both a safe and comfortable ride. Aesthetically this car seat looks great in its contours and fresh green ombre, flame retardant, fabric. The thoughtful safety highlighted is clearly noted in the user guide. In addition to safety, and easy installation, I love the easy to remove seat cover that can be cleaned along with the dishwasher safe dual cup holders. These two features will keep it looking its best for many years! My son loved the freedom of movement with the use of the cars shoulder belt. My son complained of the booster not fitting the depth of the seat, and the height profile of booster seat limiting his view out the windows. The one complaint I have is that the high back moves away from vehicle seat back when my son leans forward in position to reach for something, even though it is installed as instructed. This can be worrisome in the newly found freedoms within the increased range of motion of my 6 1/2 -year old in this seat. My son is 49” tall and 50lbs, although he meets the requirement for the seat, with backrest, I feel more comfortable waiting until he’s a little bigger related to the high backs movement when he is moving around. Overall, this seems to be a good, safe seat that will accommodate my son as he grows into the stages of growing out of a 5-point harness car seat. A seat for a few years to come! I have a squirmy 8-year-old (51" tall and 60lbs) who has a hard time sitting properly in a no-back booster seat. I installed the Highpoint in our 2017 Ford Explorer (passenger side, back seat, with LATCH) and was pleased to see that even though the back on the Highpoint booster appears to be a tad on the wide side right out of the box, I am not losing any of the middle seat space AND have no problem buckling the vehicle safety belt when the Highpoint booster is in use. We have used Britax seats since "Cowmooflage" was the coolest fashion on our 2003 Roundabout when my now 15-year-old son was a baby. So when I saw that the Highpoint has three layers of side impact protection, I wasn't surprised one bit! Britax has always equaled top-notch safety (and customer service) for me - and my four kids! Installation was super easy. One button to release the tension on the LATCH connectors, one pull to tighten the LATCH connectors. Once installed and after I threaded the vehicle belt through the red shoulder belt guide and under the door-side armrest, my son loved the look and had NO problem jumping right in. He was quick to point out that the "red parts" on the booster are where the seat belt goes when buckling him in (through the SecureGuard across his upper thighs and under the armrest on the buckle side) after I easily adjusted the head restraint height to his height and buckled him in. He then immediately noticed that there were two cup holders for his water bottles (apparently it's a big deal for him) and I already knew they are dishwasher safe! Score! His first reaction? "Mom! This seat is REALLY comfortable!" We have been using the seat multiple times daily for over a week now and he is no longer squirmy in the car! The Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode is fantastic! For my son, it is soft and cushiony and easy for him to strap himself in without (much) of my assistance. I particularly liked the safety features! The security guard middle clip felt like it held my son in tighter than just a regular seat belt. The higher back made me my son feel more secure too. The guided belt guides are a nice touch but the best part is that the top belt guide is easy to use on a daily basis. While it may seem trivial, the other car seat we had - you had to feed the seat belt into this space and it easily comes out. With this car seat, it is permanently in this area and doesn't come out unless you force it to. Lastly, the quick-push connector made it super easy to get in the car. OH! AND added bonus, the cup holders are detachable and dishwasher safe. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me test this product.

My youngest son is seven and we needed a new booster seat as ours was falling apart. My son had trouble buckling himself in the old seat and frankly needed more independence. We were so excited when Britax's Highpoint Booster Seat showed up. I installed it very easily. First I pushed red button extend the strap for the LATCH connectors and once those were clicked in, I pulled the straps on the both of the sides of the booster to guide the seat into place. Next, I threaded the seatbelt through the shoulder guide. When my son used the seat, I raised the headrest first and then buckled my son in. I made sure to use the SecureGuard (that's the red clip on the seating portion of the booster) - that properly positions the lap part of the seat belt low across his hips/upper thighs. My son had the biggest smile when he saw his new seat. He really felt like a bigger kid and his exact words were "This is cool!” And did I mention there were two cup holders that click right in…and are dishwasher safe? My son was absolutely thrilled. The best part is he can buckle in himself in now.

This is just what I was looking for!!!! My daughter is 5 but she's super tall, this seat fits her perfectly and as still have more slack to extend the head restraint which is awesome! She said it's very comfortable and it's so easy to install! The cup holders are simple to attach on and the lower connectors are so easy to use. I am borderline obsessive when it comes to researching important purchases, and there are few things more important than the safety of my children, so carseats are always a thoughtful buy in my family. Which is why I was absolutely thrilled when the Stellar Review Panel asked if I wanted to try out the Britex High Point 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat, because not only is my kiddo ready for a more big kid booster seat, but I absolutely respect and trust the Britex brand.First off, the seat arrives in two separate pieces (the Booster and the Back) along with two sturdy removable cup holders. Connecting the Booster to the back is a snap (literally). In fact, everything about this Booster Seat is user friendly. I honestly think I could probably remove this booster from one car and reinstall it in another in under two minutes. Maybe in 90 seconds if I really pushed (and had my second cup of morning coffee that day haha). It truly is THAT simple. The most time consuming aspect of the first install was reading the manual front to back (but again... I'm a tad OCD). We've only been using the seat for a short time but here is what I like about it so far:*Simple/quick install (perfect for trading between dad's/grandparents/babysitter/friend's car). *The cup holders are SO sturdy and so easy to remove should I need to clean out in inevitable kiddo junk that I am sure they will get grimed up with. *It will grow with my little for years to come (weight range is 40-120 lbs and my kid is just under 50 lbs so we should get a lot of use out of this). *The bright red seat belt guides are easy to follow or to explain to someone who might be moving the seat for the first time without me present (like a babysitter or whatnot). *Attaching and removing the seat's connector to my vehicle's anchor is super quick and smooth. *Visually, the two toned muted purples are lovely both from an adult's perspective and to a child's eye. *Did I mention that I love Britex? They have set the standard for carseats for years.Here's what my kiddo likes about it:My preschooler has declared the Seat "very comfy" and she was tickled pink to have not only her own cup holders, but arm rests as well. Her stamp of approval goes a long way when it comes to how pleasant or unpleasant a car ride can be. She also is a fairly sensory sensitive kid and she happens to like the feel of the seat cover. Which is apparently naturally flame resistant and fully washable, which is a huge bonus cause again.... kids are inherently rather gross and will surely gunk it up eventually, and I love that I can safely wash the cover.Finally, the drawbacks to the Highpoint booster seat. The only complaint I have thus far is that I wish the cup holders were just a TAD bigger. While they are able to fit my kid's 11 ouncs Pura water bottle with room to spare, they are SLIGHTLY too small to accomodate the 16 ounce Thermoflask bottles unless you remove the little rubber sleeve, then they can just barely squeeze in. Granted, we have only had the seat for about a week and other drawbacks may come to light over time (and I will try to remember to loop back and update my review after a few more months of use), but as it stands I am absolutely satisfied with the Britex Highpoint booster seat!

I was super lucky and received this car seat as part of the Stellar Testing Panel and we love it! It has a contoured design that fits well in my car and my son is very comfortable in it. I love that it fits 3 across since I have 5 kids in car seats. We are currently using this in high back booster mode for my 8 year old. The cover comes off easily to go in the washer and I appreciate that so very much since we often have to eat on the run in the car. My favorite part of this seat is how easy it was to install and how the color coding makes it so simple to figure out the proper belt paths. I highly recommend this seat!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this booster seat! As a mom of 4 young children, we have had many car seats and booster seats over the last 11 years. All 4 of my children have had Britax Convertible car seats and I was thrilled to now have a booster seat as well. This booster was by far the best one we have ever owned! It was installed in my mini van in minutes. The latch makes it that much more safe, and keeps the seat in place as my 5 year old gets in and out of the van. The fabric is so clean looking and I love that it is easy to throw in the wash if needed. Having the fabric also be naturally flame retardant is just an added bonus safety feature! The color-coded seat-belt paths make it easier for my 5 year old to navigate how to buckle himself properly. My favorite feature of this booster is the belt positioning clip! I have never seen this in a booster seat before and its an excellent feature. This ensures that my kindergartener has his belt across his lap in the best position possible. Overall, this booster seat is impressive and I'm thankful for the opportunity for my son to use it (and then my daughter when she is ready). I know that with Britax, we are getting the best booster seat possible, and I am reassured that my son is safe every time we take a trip in the car because of all the safety features of this seat!

I was really impressed with this booster, as it’s definitely in a class of its own as far as booster seats go for older kids. There are two cup holders easily within reach, and this is a bonus feature that may not seem like a lot, but helps so much for trinkets, snacks, and drinks as my 7.5 year old cannot reach the in van cup seat holders. She was actually so happy and loved the booster, it is definitely comfortable for her, and it was soooo easy! Easy to install, easy to adjust the top part to ensure her head was correctly aligned, and this gives a better piece of mind as far as safety to have a high back booster. The fact that this is convertible, really all boosters should be this way. AND, the anchoring straps! Omg even basic boosters don’t have those, and they SHOULD! The grey color we got, gender neutral, and my daughter didn’t care. The simplicity of this booster with the many added features made the so extremely happy. I hate when things are overly complicated because it can be so frustrating an a cause of not correctly installing a child safety restraint, or bothering to go through the hassle of moving it to another vehicle, but with this booster, all of that is completely eliminated. As my daughter began to outgrow her carseat, we were afforded the opportunity to test the Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Seat as par of a Stellar Product Testing Panel! We installed the seat just prior to a family vacation road trip and were pleasantly surprised at how easy the installation was. The instructions were clear amd simple. The cloth materials seem comfortable and easy to clean. My daughter enjoyed it and rode comfortably for the entire trip. The booster seats easy installation and simple design make it great to transition from a Car-Seat. When it comes time for my younger daughter to tranisiton to a booster, we will likely be buying another.

My 5 year old loves this booster! One of our favorite things about it is the very soft plush fabric. It feels high-end and good quality. The booster is low enough on the seat of the vehicle that she can buckle herself up. Many other convertible boosters are too thick and she can’t reach the buckle so we love she can be independent. We like the extra support for the lap belt path. She can easily route it though the clip and it ensures a proper fit. The shoulder belt path is great because it truly keeps the belt in place and it doesn’t easily slide out. I also love how easily I can adjust the height of the back. We love that it can become a backless booster for when she is older too! I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this seat. It’s a fantastic booster and I would highly recommend it! This is a great choice for a high back / backless booster! The install is literally a click. I love that the seat includes latch hooks instead of just sitting in the car like other boosters do. The grandparents love how easy it is to transfer into their car. The material is easy to wipe off and the cover is easy to remove if needed (we have a kiddo who gets car sick). I was hoping with the cup holders out we’d be able to fit 3 across but with our current setup, that’s not possible in the back of our van in the high back setup. Not a deal breaker but something to consider in the great car seat shuffle if you have multiple kids. The seat feels sturdy without it being overly heavy. My child is comfortable in the seat and loves that he can use the belt guide on the lap belt to be sure it’s in the right place. I’m looking forward to this being the last car seat for my child! I recently had the chance to try out this booster seat thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel! As I’ve come to expect from Britax, this seat was well designed and felt safe. The fabric has a nice ribbing to it and it felt luxe yet rugged enough to stand up to the inevitable beating it will take from its young users. My children haven’t beat it up enough to require a cleaning as of yet, but I understand the covering to be machine wash and dry, which is a huge pro! It attaches to the shell using elastic loops—I personally prefer snap closures but these loops are easily accessible and don’t cause much of a problem. Install was intuitive and exceptionally quick. I installed in the high back mode as my oldest child is not yet large enough for backless. I did have to remove my vehicle’s headrest to install properly, but that might have been the hardest part of the process. My one con with this booster seat is that it is a bit on the wide side. It is not as compact as my other seats and it may not work well for you in tight spaces.

This is my first booster seat without a 5-point harness + top tether which gives it a clean minimalist look while maintaining a high level of safety. Using the latch install was easier than making sure a top tether was tight enough. It was easy for my child to latch seat belt and hook it into the SecureGuard clip between the legs. It is taking some practice to remove the slack across the hips on their own, but I'm confident this will not be a problem. The headrest that the seatbelt guide is attached to easily adjusts very high, so I plan on using this seat with the high back for a long time (child is over 4'2" right now). The high back wings prevents my child from leaning when turning corners which happens in backless boosters and roomy enough that my child is still very comfortable. The backrest wings along with the head support gives me peace of mind that my child is as safe as possible. The fabric is easy to uninstall and reinstall when it needs to be removed for cleaning. The seat comes with two cup holders. With a 16-oz water bottle (pictured) in the cup holder, the gap in front of the armrest and the water bottle is a bit narrow for my child to guide both layers of the belt through to properly fasten the seatbelt. I was lucky enough to receive this booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that this booster uses the latch system for a secure install rather than just sitting in place like some boosters. It also comes in fun color combinations. We received the blue model and my son is obsessed. This booster also has a clear color coded seatbelt path which makes it easy for him to buckle safely and more independently. My favorite feature is the lap belt guide which makes sure that the lap portion of the belt sits in the correct spot low across the upper thighs. I also love that it will grow with him and become his backless booster eventually.

The Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning booster has lots of great features. My first feeling of satisfaction was with how easy it was to use out of the box. It's relatively lightweight, simple to attach and detach the back from the seat, and easy to secure safely in our SUV. My 5 year old seems comfortable, has room to grow, and loves the two cup holders. I love how easy the fabric is to remove and clean. The black and gray color scheme blends well in our car and hides inevitable kid stains. My biggest hesitation, besides laziness, in transitioning from a car seat to a booster seat for my 6-year-old was the loss of the 4-point system and the way kids can slide forward in their seats when they no longer have the crotch buckle. This seat was a great transition, as it allows him to use the standard car seat belt, but still has a hook between his legs for the belt strap to run through. I thought that this would be a hassle that he would not want to deal with or have problems dealing with, but he picked it up instantly and says he prefers it over the seat that is in his dad's car, which is a more traditional booster seat. Other than this unique feature, the seat is comfortable and the cupholders remain upright so that drinks do not tip out, which was one of my top requirements in searching for a booster seat, as his old car seat had pretty bad cup holders and the entire backseat of my car was frequently covered in orange juice. I received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel program. My favorite thing about this booster is that it has such a nice aesthetic, modern and clean design, and is very secure- unlike many other boosters it uses latch system to keep it secure wether or not a child is buckled in. The seat itself is wider and more comfortable, but bc its so wide in the base it almost covers the seat belt buckle so my kids needed help buckling and didn’t like doing it themselves. For long trips this wouldn’t matter but we do a lot of quick in and out errands and helping buckle almost every time was a little inconvenient. Arm rests are hard plastic but are angled nicely so the kids arms actually rest. The cup holders and fabric are removable which is nice for cleaning out any spills or crumbs! The back height easily adjustable but bc the head rest is so wide it decreases visibility. In the seat front between legs is a part to hold the seatbelt strap but both my kids didn’t like using it bc the fabric rubbed their legs since it’s summer and they mostly wore shorts. Overall I really like this seat and feel it is one of the safest and stylish available on the market.

I was given this booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We really liked it! My son is 5 years old (about 50 pounds) and he has been in a harness carseat, so this was our first booster seat. We kept the back mode on, we didn't feel he was big enough for the backless mode yet. Because it was our first time using an actual seatbelt and not the harness, it took some time getting use to that. Pros: - Lap belt position crotch strap - Extra level of safety, and helps your child sit in their seat properly. It is also adjustable, so it can be tightened or loosened to fit your child as they grow. - 3 levels of side impact protection - not all boosters have that! - The headrest - it's adjustable! So it can move with your child as they grow - which means it's easier to get the shoulder belt to fit properly on their shoulder, not cutting into their necks like other boosters. - It's easy to install and lightweight, so if you need to move it to another car it's SO easy! It's no longer a dreaded chore to move the carseat!!!! YAY! - It's comfortable! My son loves this booster!- 2 cup holders that are perfect sized. Con: - You have to waste a lot of time tighting the belt manually, because the booster won't allow the seatbelt to retract on it's own.

We bought this in July of 2023 after my car was rear-ended by another driver. The first month or so was great but since then it's done nothing but squeak constantly! Even when my son isn't in it the thing is making noise. We are going to have to start looking for a new seat because we tried to contact Britax customer support and received no response. Pretty disappointed for a relatively expensive seat since it's still under warranty and we can't get any help.

This seat is complete love for us. My 12 yr old comfortably rides in this seat. She’s about 64lbs and 54in tall. She likes having a place to comfortably rest her head when she falls asleep on road trips, and knowing that she’s secured in the safest way possible with the seat belt in the correct position is of the upmost importance to us. **NOTE: My daughter is 12 years old, not 8. That was the highest age I could select in the “child’s age” selection.**

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First of all I noticed that this is a relatively light weight seat, and I appreciate that! Hauling heavy seats in and out of the car to vacuum is not my idea of fun. I decided to use this booster with the back attached. It was simple to take on and off and super-easy to clip in place in my car. I like that the seat isn't too wide and doesn't cover up the seatbelt buckle in the car. I've had trouble with other boosters in the past. My child said that it is comfy and they like the cupholders. The color-coded belt paths make it easy to keep the seatbelt in a reachable position so that it doesn't need to be re-threaded every time we get in and out of the car, that's great. I think this will be a nice seat for my 7 year old.

This is a sturdy booster seat with nice features like additional side impact protection and the lap belt holder. However, I was disappointed to see 'Made in China' on the label when I received it. I specifically purchased this seat because Britax advertises 'safety made in the USA'. The customer service agent I spoke to was very helpful, explaining that parts are imported and assembled in the US.

My daughter is 7.5 years old and has been in a booster since she was 5. We have some very old, beat-up boosters that were passed down from her older brother, so she was thrilled to receive a shiny new booster of her own. It arrived without the back on, which is how we're using it, but the back seems like it would be very simple to click on. I love that it has clips to attach to the car--it seems safer to me than her other boosters that just float around in the back seat when no one's in them. We are impressed by the comfy fabric--it's very soft and seems almost like a sports tech fabric-- and it's a nice neutral heather-grey color. The booster is roomy, has nice big cup holders, and comfy arm rests. My only issue with the seat is the extra plastic under the arm rests. I feel like it juts out so far that it keeps the lap belt from being truly snug and hitting her high enough on her lap. Thanks to the Stellar panel for sending us this booster to test out.

I received my Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode from Stellar Product Testing Panel to review, and fell in love with this brand.First lets talk about the fabric they use, it is so ease to clean and breathable, my child does not get sweaty and uncomfortable in it, nor did it pill with the first washing. My child is also on the larger side and did not feel cramped and the second is on the smaller side and did not feel like they were swimming in the booster either, so it fit well with both body types. Now lets talk about the brilliant idea of colored coded belt paths. I love this feature! it takes all the guess work out and i was able to attach, un-attach in second. I was able to go from a full booster seat to just the booster seat in a minute and a half. the safety features are impressive and i feel very comfortable with my child riding in this booster seat. so much so, i threw out the old ones. This is now the brand my house will be using.

My four year old is very tall and thin. His old booster seat was fine but I was just delighted at the difference in quality in this Britax booster seat! The seat and back are very plush and comfortable- something even he noticed right away. There is great clearance above his head height wise and the angle of the cushioning makes for a very comfortable head rest. Previous booster seats were too low to even give him any support so this has been great! He is angled very securely in the seat and a unique feature is the clip that the seat belt can feed through for extra security. It’s not necessary but an added and helpful feature. He can use this himself but I found that to make sure the belt was secure I needed to be the one feeding it through this clip if we were using it. The cup holders are a convenient feature too. I would highly recommend this booster seat! I received this seat to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel - all opinions are my own. You will also see a second review for this product for the backless version which I used for my 7 year old (spoiler- also loved it!).

My 9 year old is small for his age and still sits in a high backed booster. We had difficulties finding a booster that had wings high enough for his head, provided a comfortable ride, and were easy enough for friends, family, and sitters to use. This Britax seat delivered all of the above in an incredibly easy-to-use package. Out of the box, set up was quick (under 10 minutes without tools) and transitioning between backless and high-backed was super simple. Little brother enjoyed supervising set up so much that he sat in the seat in the house for the remainder of the day. Installation in the car was just as easy. Color coded belt pathways made it so that even 90 year old grandma could correctly install without help - if only all seats were this way! From a comfort standpoint, kiddo appreciated the “squishy” cushioning and was very excited the adjustable wings actually went up high enough to allow him room to grow with it. The fabric is soft and wipes clean easily. It does not appear to hold excessive amounts of heat. Overall, this is a fantastic seat for a transitioning kiddo or someone looking for a booster that can grow with them. Highly recommend. I received the Britax Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode to test it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon opening it, I was very happy with how lightweight the seat is, even with the back attached. It was extremely easy to install and the seatbelt colored guides make it easy to know where to run the seatbelt. My son, 5, was really excited to get into this seat, he did not really like the one we had previously, as it was very hard to pull the seatbelt through the guides to buckle in. This one is much easier for him to buckle himself without help, a win for me! He has commented several times how comfortable the seat is and the adjustable headrest is easy to use. The cupholders are very sturdy and easy to remove, as needed. I like the idea of the adjustable crotch strap for increased safety but my son does not really like having to run the lap strap through the buckle and frequently just won't use that strap, unless I force him to. I am keeping him with the back on the booster for now, but I did remove the back and reattach it to see how that works, and it is pretty easy to connect. Overall, we really like this booster seat and love that we will be able to use it for quite some time since we can remove the back when he is ready for just the booster seat.

My daughter is getting to the age, height and weight were she is able to finally go into a booster seat, however I really hadn't started researching yet. I was beyond excited when I got this product for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel, in return for my non-biased review. In my opinion, the Britax Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode is very luxurious in the world of booster seats. It's quite roomy, yet still cozy in the "back" mode. We have only used the back mode as, my daughter could still use that extra protection, and it's a nice "gentle" phase-out from a regular car seat. The back is very easy to remove, when necessary. We both love the 2 cup holders, and I specifically love how they are built-in so that if something hits them, they won't go flying off like the removable one's we have in the car seat. The booster seat is very simple, and user friendly. With the color coded belt paths, I actually trust that my husband or anyone else can handle transferring this and installing it into another vehicle if needed, without my help! I'm looking forward to testing this out on a longer road trip, in hopes that it will help with my daughters carsickness she tends to get. I highly recommend this product when you are ready to make the change from a car seat to a booster seat. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

This booster seat not only thrilled my daughter but thrilled me as well. The moment we opened the box and my 8-year-old (and now jealous 5-year-old) saw the beautiful purple ombre color, they squealed with joy. Few car sets have inspired joy from my children, but this one was so aesthetically pleasing, it did just that. Once they sat in it (because of course they each needed to take a turn) I heard ooh's and ahh's of comfort. We've had this seat for a few weeks now and my 8-year-old mentions how comfortable it is nearly every single time. I was then the one who was appreciative. The assembly and install were both extremely quick and easy. I viewed the instructions to make sure I did it correctly, but honestly it was a pretty intuitive design. I also loved that it had the lower LATCH connectors to make sure my seat didn't slide around when I drive without my daughter in the car. Plus, she is super safe when she does sit in it thanks to the amazing attention to safety detail. With the color-coded seat-belt paths you really can't mess it up either. It makes it quick and simple for my daughter to get in the car and I love that for the first time I can ensure the waist part of the seat belt is sitting on her appropriately. She is extremely tall for her age (90th percentile) so being able to not only adjust it, but having it fit her with extended height/weight restrictions is great. Finally, it is SO easy to clean and wash! It is a matter of wiping down the fabric for little spills, or throwing the cover in the washing machine and dryer for bigger messes. This Britax booster seat is everything you've come to expect from Britax--Sleek design and quality materials, all in one. My daughter is about 70 pounds now, and has been using another highback booster with the seatbelt, and we recently switched to this one I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I started wanting to use it with the highback in place-Assembly was a bit more difficult than I anticipated? The directions make it seem like it snaps on easily, but I didn't find that to be the case. I found that I felt like I was almost breaking the seat in order for it to click in place? Once I was able to snap the highback in place, I thought that highback seemed a bit more flimsy than other highback boosters I've used before. Once in place, this seat was easy to install and start using with my daughter. The belt paths are great too--we chose to remove the lapbelt guide since my daughter is already used to where her lapbelt should fall--but this would be great for a beginner who just moved into a seatbelted booster seat. I can also see this becoming a bit cumbersome, though. Things that I love? The design--The fabric used is slick and sophisticated looking. The retractable LATCH belts are sooooooo great. I WISH more of the boosters out there had this feature. Same with the lapbelt guide-that's a definite plus here! I also like that the cupholders are detachable. Sometimes when I have three across in my minivan--the cupholders really get in the way of the other seats--Having the option to remove them is wonderful. Things I don't love? No tether for the highback booster mode. Seems strange for a carseat like this. Especially odd considering how flimsy the highback attachment seems to be. I also didn't love the lapbelt guide. I can see some liking it, but honestly, it just seemed cumbersome? Overall, I'm not sure the price is worth it on this one. It's a nice looking design, but functionality doesn't really appear to be great.
