Graco SlimFit LX 3-in-1 Car Seat (Shaw)

I got a month ago and it’s been great. Toddler loves the seat. Easy install and gave much more space.

Bought these so we could be 3 across in the back of my sedan. They’re a great size and I actually like that they hug my kids a little closer, and cup holders are closer too than in our old seats. Installation and safety are always my top reasons for choosing Graco. It’s very straightforward and simple and trustworthy!

I have 4 kids (11,4,3, and 1) when our 3rd baby was born we struggled finding a carseats that would fit in the back of our sentra. We could fit 2 but then our bigger kid was squished. Then we found these. We started with just one then ended up buying our 3rd last year when our youngest was born. They all 3 fit in the car and are easy to install. They are also easy to take apart to clean and button back together like a charm. Anytime we need to adjust straps we can do it with them in the seat in like 5 seconds. We will never buy a different carseat these are the best!

We bought 2 one for our child forward facing and one backwards facing. We love them, the kids love them. We can fit 2 scroll in our Kia carnival, VW Atlas and ford focus. It has mesh on the sides to allow air come in. We would recommend

The car seat was very easy to set up. It is slim and fits well in a small car. I really like how easy it is to adjust the height and straps.

This car seat is comfortable for our child, and allows for us to fit 3 car seats in a small backseat. Very happy with the limit.

Purchased this car seat to move our 18 month up while we used her original car seat for new babies. Hoping to graduate the twins to the same in a year and half or so and fit the three across a bench seat in vehicle. Car seat is a little harder to install than the ones with the separate base. I feel that even though the recline is set correctly, our daughter’s head does tilt forward a little. I would be hesitant to use with young babies.

I was looking for a car seat that fits into a small car, and can be easily carried around. We have two cars, and I am often moving the seat from one car to the other. SlimFit is easy to install with the latches, and light enough that it is not too hard to carry.

This car seat is constructed with high quality materials and was very easy to install. It is also very compact making it the perfect second car seat for our compact sedan. We previously had the Graco Turn2Me and have been very satisfied with both the quality of Graco car seats, the lifespan of the seats compared to other brands, and the amazing Graco customer service. We are already looking forward to buying a second SlimFit for our other car.

This car seat is great! It fits really nicely in our car, and is really easy to get our child in and out of. The installation was easy and it seems comfortable for our baby. I love the fact that the cup holders can detach for extra space!

Just moved my baby to this convertible seat. It fits perfectly in my suburu outback with two Diono seats for my other kiddos. This seat is really nice, fit is snug but comfortable.

It can be so hard to find something that fits well in a vehicle that a lot of seats just aren't built for. This seat was exactly what we needed to get our 1 year old safely out of her infant seat in our 12 passenger Ford Transit. It also fits well in our sedan with room for her older siblings next to her. The seat is comfortable, the color is cute, and she was so excited to have her own cupholders.

This seat is great and works well. I like the slim design on it so grown ups can still have room sitting out back. I wish that you could remove the fabric in the seat to be able to put it in the washing machine and clean it easier.

We got the slim fit car seat for my crossover sized vehicle and it fits great. There is still plenty of room in the back seat for another passenger, and our baby is very comfortable in his car seat. Super easy to install too.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this car seat. I had my daughter in an infant carrier and she was getting too big, so I knew it was time to move up to a convertible seat. We drive a small car, a 2013 Kia Rio, and we are hoping to have another baby soon. My biggest priority was finding something that could fit in our backseat alongside an infant carrier. Specifically, I needed a car seat that would fit behind the driver when my husband was driving with the seat pushed back, because our infant carrier does not fit there when he’s driving, so if we are going to have another baby my daughter will have to be in that spot. Budget wasn’t my top concern, but I didn’t want to pay the price tag of some luxury brands. I found all of the resources on Graco’s website very helpful as I was measuring out the car and planning what to expect. I ordered the seat to be delivered to us and it arrived just a couple of days later, quite a bit faster than the shipping indicated it would take. The seat itself is awesome. Very high-quality, compact, and lightweight. It delivered on everything it promised. The safety features are top tier, and the latch system was super easy and quick to install. Not only will this fit next to our infant carrier, I believe there would be room to add a third car seat of this type in the back, although I certainly hope we have a bigger car by the time we are ready for a third baby! In the end, all my research paid off and I’m really happy with this purchase. I feel confident this car seat will be able to adapt to accommodate my growing family as our needs change. I would recommend it highly to others.

We like these car seats. They are compact, and fit my 3 year olds well. We needed new car seats after the foam inserts started falling off our old ones. After shopping around, and even buying a different one and returning it, we settled on these. I like that my kids are safe, and I appreciate all the protection, but it does make it hard to get them in the car seats. Our old design was much easier and sleek (though not as safe) I also wanted to rear face to the max size, but these car seats didn’t have a very high rear facing limit, and it was extremely difficult to get them in and out when rear facing. They are 33 lbs, so technically they still could, but this car seat doesn’t lend itself for that. Ultimately it was worth it for us to have a little bit more of a hard time as long as it keeps our kids safe.

It is so slim, I was worried my toddler wouldn’t be comfortable in it. But he seems to love it so far. It doesn’t have all the extra bulky padding, but is still soft and comfy. Also, love the airflow features.

No need for an overly drawn out review. The car seat does what it's intended to do.

I was hesitant on the price, as I was purchasing for triplets, but these are high quality and provide peace of mind when it comes to safety.

Perfect car seat when you have 3 littles in seats still. This gives me the option to have all of my children in the 2nd row since they are slim enough to fit side by side. Very easy to install and also easy to take apart to wash. This is my 3rd seat and will be ordering more to put in their dad's truck.

This car seat functions perfectly for us. It fits well in the small back seat of our FJ Cruiser. We have installed the infant car seat beside it proving it would work well for 3 across. It fits well in the center with plenty for room for my 6’4” husband to drive.

We have loved our SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat for our little one. We purchased this a little over a month ago to transition out of the infant carry car seat and for our little one to use as she grows. The quality of this product has been great! We love the base latch on this model for ease of removing and switching to a different vehicle. With our older child we had the basic latches and the quick release of these is a game changer!

I originally purchased this carseat in 2024 when my daughter went from an infant carseat to a convertible carseat. Recently we were in an accident where the rear of the car took the biggest hit. Long story short, her seat needed to be replaced, so naturally we re-purchased this model since it had kept her safe and basically injury free from the impact. We loved the slim profile and the mesh vents before, but we have a whole new appreciation for the durability and safety of this seat.

We love this car seat and how much room it gives us in our car. My only complaint is installing it rear facing for infants. I find it a bit challenging. I'd recommend this more for children over the age of 2.

The slimmest model you can find in the market. Yes, this will fit 3 across, which wasn't the main reason we bought this as we only have 1 child. We bought this because we have a small car and didn't want the back seat to be taken over by 1 car seat. It is also very light, easily removeable and to install with the click in latch system. The meshed materials also keeps the child cool and happy in long car ride. We have taken this car seat in 3 international trips (Croatia, Mexico, Italy) and our child who is now 3 has no complaint. It is easily removable to wash. We also have another model (the TriRide, which is about half or 2/3 the price of SlimFit3LX) in another car, and I would say it is worth spending the money on the SlimFit3LX. The materials, latch systems, size, weight, construct is much much better.

This is my 4th Slimfit3 and 8th Graco car seat. Easy to adjust and install. I've bought nothing but Graco since one of their seats saved my family in a rollover car accident by stopping the roof from fully collapsing several years ago.

Finally all 3 kids can fit comfortably in the back seat of my small SUV! No complaints from the kids after a couple of 14 hrs trips (well, plenty of complaints, but none that related to the seats or to their comfort!)

I wish I just bought these to begin with. I bought different carseats, but the SlimFit3 LX 3in1 makes the most sense if you plan on having three across in most cars! The quality makes me feel like my babies are extra safe and relieved my anxiety! If you are thinking about best choices with a growing family this is it!

This is my second one and it has been working great for us! Easy to put on and off to wash and gives us the option to put three car seats in a compact car. We once had to give our friend’s four year old a ride and we fit two of the slims and one reg size Graco car seat no problem!

Easy to install, roomy. I was afraid it being slim, that my child may not have enough room, but she had no issues! I’ll be getting another for my other toddler. We have a 9 yr old and she doesn’t feel squished in the back either.

I also have a Graco Extend2Fit. And I honestly wish I just had 2 of these. While I have not tried to clean it yet. I love how much more airflow this car seat has. It also has some nice design features that really make it feel quality.

We had researched many options when our first was transitioning out of his baby car seat and found this. This car seat has endured trips across the ocean three times over and protected our kids on multiple continents. Needless to say, we’re fans.

I purchased 2 of the Slimfit LX Car Seat. They are very comfy for my twin granddaughters. The perfect design of the seats allows me to have them installed in my car beside their older brother with no problems. I feel good knowing that my grandkids are safe with Graco carseats and I can fit all 3 in my car safely and easily. I would highly recommend this carseat.

Excellent car seat! Have used Chicco for years, which I still love, but this car seat exceeded my expectations! Especially if you need a slim car seat for a tight 3 across, this is a fabulous option.

I bought this for my grandson. I don’t have much to compare it to as car seats are much different than they were 35 years ago. But it seems comfortable to him and seems very safe.

We love this seat! It is such a cute color and it was easy to install. We love that the cup holders don’t come completely off so we can’t lose them. Straps are comfortable and safe. My only complaint is that the purple color shows every single stain and is impossible to keep clean.

Recently purchased and I am pretty happy with it. One complaint I have is the size of the cup holders, they are too small for some of the water bottles I have. This is the first seat I have had this issue with. Other than that, I would say it is a decent seat overall.

This is my second of this carseat. My child finds it and has always found it very comfortable. We got a second because of a car accident. My child was unharmed and didn’t have any whiplash. The seat seemed fine but getting a new one when in an accident is always safest.

My one year old twins love this car seat! They are both some comfortable and love the cup holders! It has much more cushion than our formers car seats. We will be a graco family! We love the color and how it will grow with the children!

I love the versatility and how easy it is to install! We have a smaller vehicle and it fits perfectly. It had two setting for rear facing, 1 sits baby up more, 2 leans back a bit. I haven’t tried the others out since she haven’t gotten there yet but for far i love it! Our 1 year old seems to be pretty comfy in there!

Love this car seat! I love how the cupholders can fold in making it easier to fit next to our other car seats. I also love the lower anchor belts on this one, way easier to install and uninstall, they work like regular seat belt buckles with the click part. Also I love the name of the color, my son’s name is Silas so it was meant to be! We also have the 3 in 1 snug fit in pink for our newborn and that one is also amazing!

2 of these fit well in the back of our Honda Accord with room to spare. That's the main reason we bought them! They're nice too, cupholders are a plus. Nothing fancy which I don't mind!

I absolutely love this car seat! I got it three years ago for my first and definitely had to order another when my second was born. The seat literally grows with them so you save money in the long run.

I love the ease of loosening the straps, pads are washable, and buckles hang over the sides to keep out of way. I’m a nanny and purchased the car seat so I always have one on hand. I love that it’s easy to use and safe.

Easy to use and doesn’t take up much space. We had the infant carrier until this and this is notably less bulky. I have a midsize suv (rav4) and fits fine. Being able to move the harness straps up and down with the button is nice too and makes it easier to adjust as needed

The Graco SlimFit Platinum 3-1 Car Seat has been a great addition to my family. I love that it grows with my child, which it is a good investment and I don’t have to buy another car seat. The slim fits better in the back seat specially when you have other kids in the back as well. It keeps my son safe and comfortable. It is easy to clean after any mess and the straps are easy to use.

It is a great combination of comfort, safety and convenience. It gas a slim design that saves space in the car without sacrificing comfort for the child. The seat feels sturdy and well-made, the padding is soft, and the adjustable headrest makes it easy to grow with your child.

I have 2 of these and I love these. It slim and still give my kids space for seat, not tie on them. It good because my infant can sleep straight without interupe or hot or tight in the carseat.

Amazing product. My husband and I got two (each a different color for our own vehicles). Assembly is easy, and the manual is easy to read and understand. My daughter loved the car seat! It's super easy to move from car to car, clean, & adjust. The process to adjust the recline is super easy and the straps are easily adjustable for when baby grows! The pink color is so cute, which is a bonus for sure!

Great car seat size for my second row bucket seats. It is relatively easy to attach to the seat. However, it is difficult to get the seat stable. It requires a lot of downward pressure to have a stable fit. I am a grandparent and needed help anchoring the seat.

I recently bought two of these car seats as my son already has one and I bought an extra two for my Car seat rental business . These car seats work wonderfully they're very comfortable they're easy to change depending on the age and size of the child they're very easy to install and I like how they are just slightly slimmer than a general model so it's easier to fit them in more cars. It is a great purchase and I would do it again in the future if I need more car seat seats for my business.

We just switched our son to his first big boy car seat and the Greco turn to me is perfect! It was easy to install, the turning feature is so convenient, and our son looks so comfortable and has way more room compared to the infant bucket car seat he was in. Overall, we are very happy with this car seat.

We bought this car seat originally for our first born and came back to it for our second child. Both fit great in the backseat. They are comfortable and safe for the babies. Easy to install and adjust as needed for best sitting posture/ ergonomics. Highly recommend it for new parents, small or big vehicles.

We are tall and this helped us all fit in my husbands sedan rear facing!

I was so impressed with this seat right out of the box. However it’s not the easiest to tighten and it seems like the head protection is too high but it’s where it has to be for the straps to come right above the shoulder in forward facing. I do love how narrow it is though. Not my favorite but it will do.

Bought 3 of the 6 months ago and recently just bought three more for the other car and absolutely love these car seats

This seat is almost 3” narrower than my Safety 1st seat that it replaced. I was trying to find something narrow enough to fit in the center seat of my 2016 Honda Pilot and that was easy to pull the harness strap tight and this seat is perfect. I have an evenflo dual ride shyft, this graco seat, and a graco backless booster all in my second row and everyone fits just right. My favorite part though is how easy it is to tighten the straps. The seat it replaced never felt tight enough despite strong arming it every time. I’ll be getting another once my infant is out of the infant seat.

Bought to fit in my Subaru Crosstrek and they really do fit 3 across. I love that! The detachable cup holders are great, and deep enough to actually hold a cup. They are also lightweight for a car seat, and easy to take in and out of a vehicle. I would definitely purchase again.

I haven’t installed it yet but it is lighter and more compact.

We absolutely adore the Graco Slimfit 3 in 1 car seat. The recline, padding, fit, and buckle are easy to use. It installs easily and fairly quickly. The weight limits are also great. It is wonderful for growing kids as it can be used for infants, rear facing, forward facing and as a high back booster seat. It work well in all of our vehicles including Honda CR-V, Honda Passport, Honda Pilot, and RAM 1500. It also has other beneficial accessories like cupholders which can fold back in when not in use. You can also fit 3 side by side in most vehicles. This is my go-to car seat for all my children!

This car seat had an easy setup and was light enough to maneuver. Our son has been able to grow with the seat. The headrest is able to extend to fit the child’s height. The buckles are easy to work and tighten/loosen when needed.

My young boy really seems to enjoy it, I also like the way when he falls asleep his head does not go forward, instead it goes towards the side.

I love how many different options you have with this car seat. It will fit any child for a long time and my child looks so comfortable and relaxed in it!

I bought this 2 years ago for our son. It is a sturdy carseat with a slim profile (which we appreciate in our VW Jetta TDI from 2014). I believe it's in thanks to this seat that we will be able to fit 3 across when our third comes. It's also well padded, and (IMO) way easier to clean and reassemble than our Grao 4Ever DLX slim. I like too that there is mesh on the sides to promote good airflow. Over all, it's a sturdy, well-put-together seat. That being said, be aware that this is not a great newborn seat. Although you can get a good buckle fit, the recline is not ideal in most cars for a newborn.

Extremely easy to get the child in and out of and it fits well in the car

The fabric and seat seems very soft, padded and comfy for my little one. It was not too difficult to install and I love that it has cup holders too. Definitely a little more leg room on my extend to fit but not cramped at 1.5 years.

I am a grandma and purchased this car seat to be able to transport my grandchild as needed. It is extremely easy to install and remove from my vehicle. My grandchild seems to be very comfortable in the seat and I have no safety concerns.

First of all. I LOVED how slim & compact it is & that it is easy to install. Loved the removable cupholders also. HOWEVER, my toddler's head tilted forward when she fell asleep & her neck literally bent down (chin touching chest). I tried adjusting her head and it was so unsafe. I had it for not even a week & returned it to purchase and E2Fit 3-in-1 (which we had one & is a favorite in our book).

This is our second time purchasing this model, and it continues to work great. Fairly easy to install, comfortable for our child, and we can fit a small adult in between 2 of these carseats in our sedan.

I regret spending the money on this seat. I’ve used it for three separate kids and all three have severe head slump. 6 year old forward facing, 2 year old forward and rear facing and 9 month old rear facing. Installed correctly with bubble in the correct spot. I put my kids back in chicco seats and they are able to sleep correctly with no head slump. This seat now sits in my closet for a back up seat in case of an accident to hold us over for new ones.

bought the Graco SlimFit3 LX because I wanted a less bulky car seat, and it completely delivered. At under 17 inches wide, it saves a massive amount of space in the backseat compared to the standard SlimFit, and it was a lifesaver for travel since it’s so light and fully FAA-approved. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting a tight rear-facing installation with the seatbelt takes a bit of extra muscle without a built-in lock-off, and the cup holders can be a tight squeeze for wider bottles. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you want to trim the fat without losing safety features or comfort.

This slim car seat was for my new great grandson joining his two older sisters in the back seat! It was just what my granddaughter wanted so all three siblings would fit in her vehicle! PERFECT and I saved 20%!

I bought this as we are planning to have our third and need the ability to fit 3 across. The Diono version seems to be out of stock permanently and this carseat is supposed to be more narrow anyways. Will update as time goes on to see how it continues to hold up. This is the most narrow carseat on the market (after upgrading from the infant carseat, because the infant carseat is technically more narrow).

It sits more upright than the infant seat we were replacing, so watch the angle if your little one naps in the car to help keep them comfy.

It’s an excellent car seat if you have more than 2 kids, it is really slim, my oldest have a Chicco, my middle one has another different Gracco and I bought this for my youngest so I can fit them in one row and they fit perfectly
