Discussion on Baby Trend brand for multiples including Ez-Lift base
Yes the Baby Trend car seats are a great option for twins, especially since extra bases are cheap. I think I paid $40 each for the extra bases. The seats themselves are lightweight and easy to carry. Some people complain about the release from the base being tough, and I agree it's not the smoothest, but I got used to it. Installation with LATCH was straightforward, and the bubble level helped, though I've heard it can be off.

Troubleshooting bubble level accuracy on Ez-Lift base
I'm having trouble with my Baby Trend Ez-Lift base. The bubble level won't stay level after I tighten the LATCH. I've tried adjusting the flip foot and recline, but the bubble either goes way off or is inconsistent. I read in the manual to use the level line instead, but it's not as convenient. The base seems secure otherwise, but I worry about the angle. Anyone else have this?

Comparing Baby Trend Ez-Lift with other infant car seats
We had the Baby Trend Ez-Lift travel system and honestly, for the price it's fine. But if you can swing the extra $100, get the Chicco or Graco. The padding on the Baby Trend is bare minimum and my baby sweated a lot. The base was easy to install though, and we had a second base for the other car which was cheap. It's not a terrible seat, just very basic.

Mention of Baby Trend Ez-Lift base as part of travel system
I have the Baby Trend Ez-Lift 35 travel system and it gets the job done. The stroller is huge but the car seat clicks in fine. I bought an extra base for my husband's truck, and it was only like $60. Installation was simple with the LATCH and the bubble indicator was clear. For a budget travel system, I think it's worth it.
