I appreciated the detailed description
I appreciated the detailed description, I knew I was getting a floor model and it came in perfect shape at a much reduced cost. When I thought the cupholders weren't included, I reached out to them and then we found them and they were very responsive and thankful that I let them know. Everything is fine.
Reddit Insights
6 threads · r/Buyingforbaby, r/BabyBumpsReddit users praise the Minu V3 for its compact fold, overhead bin compatibility, and great customer service, but criticize its high price, lack of parent-facing seat without car seat, and poor off-road performance.
Overall sentiment is positive due to its portability, build quality, and warranty, but tempered by concerns about newborn suitability and terrain limitations.

Community Q&A
- Is the Minu V3 suitable for a newborn?
- Technically yes from birth with car seat adapter or bassinet kit, but many parents feel it's not ideal without a fully flat recline or parent-facing seat. Best from 3-6 months+.
- Can the Minu V3 be used as an everyday stroller?
- Yes, many use it as their only stroller, especially in cities. It's durable and has good storage, but may struggle on rough terrain.
- Does the Minu V3 fit in airplane overhead bins?
- Yes, it meets IATA carry-on standards and has been confirmed to fit in most overhead bins, a major upgrade from V2.
- How does the Minu V3 compare to the Minu V2?
- V3 folds smaller, has a higher seat back, improved suspension, and integrated foot barrier. Still no bassinet compatibility without separate purchase, and same newborn limitations.
Compared To
vs UPPAbaby Minu V2
V3 folds smaller (IATA compatible), has a higher seat back, integrated foot barrier, and better suspension, but still lacks a bassinet option and has similar newborn concerns.
vs UPPAbaby Vista V2/V3
Vista is smoother on all terrains, better for newborns, but much bulkier and not travel-friendly. Minu is preferred for travel and daily compact use.
vs Other travel strollers (Joolz Aer+, Bugaboo Butterfly, Nuna TRVL, etc.)
Minu V3 stands out for storage capacity, build quality, and customer service, but is heavier and pricier. Some prefer lighter alternatives for true one-handed use.

Worth it? Better alternatives?
UB Minu V3, currently internationally travelling with it with a 5 month old and it’s SO easy and compact and used it for daily use as well on gravel, grass and rocky streets. Can store overhead on the plane, folds with a handle that you can use on your shoulder and great customer service. My stroller broke in the bag during our travel and UB replaced the frame free of cost. Only condition for the warranty is to have the UB bag to qualify for the replacement. I’ve completely replaced my UB Cruz with this and haven’t had any issues yet.
Considering for a newborn?
The minu v3 is technically infant compatible but I personally would not use it with an infant. They did a better job with the infant capabilities for the Cruz V3... You can’t make them parent facing and it’s not fully flat... Great for 5months+ but not ideal prior to that. The recline isn’t enough for many parents to be comfortable with newborn floppy neck/no bassinet.
As a main stroller
We love the Minu v3. You can buy car seat adapters for $70 or so new — cheaper used/open box. How it folds down and it’s fit into overhead airline bins really the main reason we bought it. It is great for us in NYC; good in small spaces and easy for one parent to manage if going out solo... Overall, we are very happy with the stroller and love that the undercarriage can carry 20 pounds as well. What drew us towards minu was the weight capacity of the under basket storage. It’s significantly higher at 20lb on minu vs the others.
Feedback thread
The minu is basically a janky doll stroller in comparison lol. ... I can take the vista across gravel or grass with no issue. The minu is so uncomfortable for my kid and the steering is so stiff and the wheels are tiny. I never use it and wish I hadn’t ever bought it honestly! ... The minu v3 is technically infant compatible but I personally would not use it with an infant. ... You can’t make them parent facing and it’s not fully flat... Another downside is that I have a hard time steering it with one hand (like if I am holding a coffee).
Minu V2 vs V3 comparison
The minu v3 folds smaller and meets IATA carry-on standards, a major upgrade from the minu v2. It has a higher seat back, integrated foot barrier, and improved suspension. However, it's still not compatible with the bassinet without a separate purchase, and the newborn suitability concerns remain similar to the V2.
Vista vs Minu vs additional travel stroller
If you're considering the Minu V3 for travel, it's great because it fits overhead, but for everyday use with a newborn, the Vista is much smoother and more comfortable. The Minu V3 works from birth with a car seat, but many feel it's not ideal until the baby can sit up. It's a trade-off between compactness and full-featured ride.
