I appreciated the detailed description, I knew I was getting a floor model and it came in perfect shape at a much reduced cost. When you need a dirt helmet it will be obvious because you will be miserable otherwise. [...] I'll add that open helmet and goggles is great until a yellowjacket visits at higher speeds. [...] However, I’m planning to try using a dirt helmet for the heat of summer in the NE this year. I’ve got a A* M10 on the way that’s almost a pound lighter then my XD4 (admittedly a heavier dual sport helmet), and you can get way more flow through venting.

Raider RX1 is decent for the price but very loud. I'd spend a bit more and get something like a Fly Racing helmet if you can. They're still budget but much better quality. [...] I have the Raider RX1, it's comfy and well ventilated, but the fit is a bit off for my head shape (intermediate oval). At higher speeds the visor acts like a sail. Budget buy if you're just cruising slow.

Just bought this helmet! I’m a new rider and I think it looks sick. Fit seems okay, a little tight on the cheeks but I read that's normal. Anyone else have experience with this brand? [...] It's a solid starter lid. As long as it fits right and you wear it, that's what matters. Upgrade later if you get into more serious riding.
