Overwhelming consensus that the Kick & Play Piano is 'worth it'
It’s the only thing that keeps my 3 month old entertained for more than 5 minutes. I call it the 'baby casino' because of the lights and sounds. 100% worth it. - user/LadyKittenCuddler. My baby has loved this thing since week 3 and she’s now 16 weeks. We use it every single day. - user/katiejim

Dubbed 'baby crack' for its mesmerizing effect
We call it the 'baby crack piano' because it’s that addictive. My son is 2.5 and still plays with the detached piano. It’s the best $40 I’ve spent. - user/scarletnightingale. My 4 month old will lay there for 30+ minutes kicking and cooing. It’s magical. - user/purplepickle

Comparison of green deluxe vs. original version
I have the green one and my sister has the old purple one. The green mat is way thicker and the piano is bigger, but honestly the songs on the old one are better. My baby doesn’t care though, still loves it. - user/maamaag. The green deluxe piano lights up more, and it has a smilier face on the hippo which my baby prefers. - user/ApprehensiveWin7256

Tips on when to introduce and how babies interact
We started putting him on it at 2 weeks for short tummy time with the piano facing him. By 2 months he was kicking the keys intentionally. Now at 4 months he grabs the dangling toys like crazy. It’s great because you can change the mode as they grow. - user/tinypotato. I love that the piano comes off, my 18 month old still carries it around the house. - user/thr0wfaraway

Strong buy recommendation even at full price
Buy it. It’s on sale for $30 at Target right now but even at full price it’s been our most used baby item. You can often find them secondhand for like $20 on FB marketplace too. - user/bananapajamas. I would pay double. It’s the only way I can drink a hot coffee. - user/mamabear2023

Detailed features and personal experiences
So I got the green one for my baby shower. It really is the complete package: thick mat, the arch with all the linkable toys, the piano that lights up. My baby started with just looking at the zebra crinkle toy at 1 month, now at 5 months she’s spinning the frog roller and kicking up a storm. Only downside is I hear 'Maybe you could be a purple monkey in a bubblegum tree' in my sleep. - user/fiestypants13
