Evenflo 360 Extend
The rotation of this car seat is awesome for getting a sleeping child in and out of the car. I like that this car seat can last for years and be used as a booster seat for an older child. The leg rest is great for a toddler. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Pan...
Good Car Seat for Growing Kids
The Evenflow Relvove 360 Extend was easy to install in minutes. I have only used this seat in front facing mode. Although, I really appreciate the extended rear facing mode and wish I had access to that when my toddler was younger. The cover is plush with ample padding and an attachable leg rest for...
Rotational car seat, great quality and value
Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing panel, I was able to try out this rotational car seat! It is so much more convenient than a traditional convertible car seat for rear facing with this feature, and allows my toddler to get into their seat by herself compared to the one she was using prior. Revolve360 Extend All-in-One Rotational Car Seat with Quick Clean Cover
I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Revolve360Extend All-in-One Rotational Car Seat is a huge step up from my old car seat. I love the ability to rotate the seat and the detachable leg rest. Being able to use the seat rear and forward facing with no need to remove to switch works great with my toddler and baby. It was easy to load and unload the baby, the only con you do need to fiddle with the buckle between the legs. Baby laughs when I spin him into place. The green indicator confirms when the seat is locked in place and secure. The cupholders are large enough to hold our toddlers water bottle that doesn’t fit in her seat. It’s a bulky heavy seat, we have a larger SUV so this wasn’t an issue for us. The Quick Clean Cover is another handy feature, not having to uninstall and reinstall huge advantage. It’s a good seat with some cool features.
Cool rotational design
Overall, we really liked the car seat and wished that we had had it when the girls were infants. The rotational design is a novel and cool concept. We like how it only needs one hand to rotate the seat. This means that one arm could be holding the child, and the other one gets the seat set up. It really takes away the frustration of needing to get your child into a car seat sideways. The fabrics were soft and cushioning. Both of my kids felt comfortable. My husband said that installation was actually very easy but the instruction manual was not helpful and made the process more complicated. We really like the removable cover for ease of washing and the removable leg rest. The leg rest really comes in handy, for we are facing because it covers the metal bracket that the seat attaches to when forward facing. Without the removable, leg rest, my daughters feet would be resting against the metal bracket and that would be uncomfortable. However, we have one major issue with this car seat and that is the crotch buckle is too short for large-for-age children. I have a 46 pound/46 inch five year old who is very uncomfortable in the seat because the buckle was digging in to her legs. This was not a problem with our three year old who is much smaller. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.
Cons outweigh pros
I’d like to thank the Stellar Testing Panel for the chance to test this Evenflo Revolve 360 carseat. I wanted to love this carseat but the cons outweigh the pros. The 360 rotation feels more like a gimmick than a necessity. I don’t feel that it saved time or added any convenience, if anything it was sort of an extra step. I do think that the 360 rotation would be more beneficial for heavier children as you wouldn’t have to lift them over the side. The lower belt buckle was too tight despite several adjustments. The longevity of this carseat is appealing but I’m not sure how long it will last with my toddler rear-facing given how snug the bottom buckle is. Installation was also difficult and the Quick-Start Guide was confusing. I have installed many carseats and still had to watch a how-to video on this despite also reading the manual. My 2 year old seemed uncomfortable as the rear-facing position of this seat elevated his legs/feet. I would not want them in this position for a long drive. It seemed unnatural to sit that way. Some positives: The zip-on/off leg rest was very convenient. The fabrics are soft yet durable and aside from being somewhat bulky, the seat itself looks great. Great stitching, colors, and overall feel.

While many users praise the rotating feature, significant safety concerns including a NHTSA investigation and reports of detachment and defective movement create a cautious and mixed overall sentiment.

Seat should not move when locked
Send this video to evenflo. This is NOT right. Ours is not like this at all. When locked in forwards or backwards, the seat doesn't move at all.

Accident report: Revolve360 detached from base, replaced with Extend
I was in an accident with my son November 21,2023. We were t-boned on the driver side. My son's Revolve 360 (passenger side) detached from the base and landed on the other side of the car towards the impact point. The carseat was installed with the seatbelt (preferred method) and locked into rearfacing position. We're were in a 2014 chevy cruze and all the curtain airbags deployed. With the Revolve 360, when reclined for rearfacing, there's no way for the seat to swivel to the rightside detach point. In my chevy, the backseat was too small to allow the sweat to swivel inward without being stopped by the door. We believe the force of the curtain airbags deploying and the fact that the vehicle was small, provided enough force to detach the seat. We returned the seat to evenflo for investigation and never heard anything. They replaced it with a Revolve 360 extend and we are hoping they will let us return it.

Detailed comparison with Graco Turn2Me, notes extended rear-facing option
Comparison: * Both were very easy to install and each had a tightening mechanism for the teather/seatbelt - I found them much easier to install compared to the many stationary convertible seats that I tried out * Graco is more compact so the front seat has a little more space * Evenflo is install once and done whereas Graco you have to reinstall to reverse * Evenflo has to have the top tether installed at all times where Graco is only for forward facing * Graco has thicker straps so they twist less, Evenflo straps are easy to twist * Graco has buckle holders, Evenflo doesn't * Evenflo has the rotate handle on the top, Graco's is on the bottom of the seat * Rear facing weight limit is 40lbs for both * Booster weight limit for Evenflo is 120lbs, Graco is 100lbs * Graco rotates smoother and easier, but neither are difficult * Graco's chest clip is like grocery store seat belts, Evenflo is just a thumb push button - My mom has hand pain and found the Graco one to be easier * Evenflo recline can be adjusted anytime, Graco needs reinstallation * Evenflo can be rotated in forward or rear facing, Graco can only be rotated in rear facing I looked for months at car seats for my parents and in-laws, so I kept a pretty good eye on the prices. My inlaws ended up with the Graco Extend to fit. The Graco Turn2Me seems to go on sale more often than the Evenflo seat (and the sale price at Buy Buy Baby is usually coupon eligible), so price may also be an influence. I only found the Evenflo seat to go on sale during Target's trade in event. Evenflo Revolve360 is also now available with extended rear facing option, so if that's a feature that you are interested in it might add to the pros column for you.

Advice on infant seat vs convertible
Most people go for two car seats - an infant bucket seat (detachable) and a convertible like the evenflo for later on when they are bigger and outgrow the baby seat. I’d honestly get both. The ease of being able to strap baby into the seat inside in the warm/dry and take the seat with you if baby is sleeping is worth it.
