We include two flange sizes with the pump, but the included inserts vary by kit — the pump ships with a 30.5 mm flange and commonly includes 24.5 mm and/or 28.0 mm flange inserts for a personalized fit. [1][2] The AdvancedFit system supports six sizes overall: 21.0 mm (extra‑small), 24.5 mm (small), 28.0 mm (medium), 30.5 mm (large), 33.0 mm (extra‑large) and 36.0 mm (extra‑extra‑large); four additional sizes are available separately. Which components are dishwasher‑safe or autoclavable (flanges, valves, collection cups, bottles), and are there recommended cleaning/sterilization temperature limits or instructions?
Disassemble the flange assembly after each use and hand‑wash the flange parts (flanges, valves, membranes, collection bottles) in warm, soapy water and air dry — after rinsing you may place the flange assembly on the top rack of your dishwasher. For sanitizing, you may boil disassembled parts (except the pump unit, AC adapter, tubing, tubing adapter, and diaphragm cap) in boiling water for 5 minutes (stir frequently and do not allow parts to rest on the pan bottom), or use a microwave sanitation device for those same parts following the device manufacturer’s directions. Never immerse the pump unit or AC adapter in water, and do not boil or wash the tubing, tubing adapter, or diaphragm cap; the manufacturer’s instructions do not list autoclave compatibility so autoclaving is not recommended.
