SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack in r/newborns
We discontinued swaddling at 8 months just like the AAP says to do, and my son adapted to this within just a day or two. I'm so happy with this, and it's helping so much to transition over to just sleep sacks only. ... I'm not paying $40 for the Zipadee, so this one was the one when my baby started to transition out of a tight swaddle. Closing up the cuffs helped him still feel a bit swaddled. It's great for sleep, and I'm so glad I found this.

How to successfully transition baby out of Arms up swaddle? in r/sleeptrain
We have been using the SwaddleDesigns transitional swaddle sack. It’s amazing. He has his arms up, can self-soothe on his fists, but if he startles, the cuffs keep his arms from flailing. When we switch to a regular sleep sack, he still has the startle reflex and wakes up. This is the only product that gives partial suppression while still allowing arms up.

Are transitional swaddles really safe? in r/NewParents
The SwaddleDesigns transitional swaddle sack has half-length sleeves with mitten cuffs. If baby rolls, they can still use their arms to push up and reposition their head. It's the only swaddle transition product I've found that allows any arm movement while still suppressing the startle reflex a bit. Our pediatrician said it looked great and was much safer than a traditional arms-down swaddle once rolling starts.
