Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat (Silas)

I bought this for my grandson. I don’t have much to compare it to as car seats are much different than they were 35 years ago. But it seems comfortable to him and seems very safe.

We love this seat! It is such a cute color and it was easy to install. We love that the cup holders don’t come completely off so we can’t lose them. Straps are comfortable and safe. My only complaint is that the purple color shows every single stain and is impossible to keep clean.

Recently purchased and I am pretty happy with it. One complaint I have is the size of the cup holders, they are too small for some of the water bottles I have. This is the first seat I have had this issue with. Other than that, I would say it is a decent seat overall.

This car seat sat perfectly in my car. Easy to install and the best part is that its stable when it comes to driving. Graco is great! I definitely would shop again when I need a new car seat!

Installation was super easy and my baby seems to like the comfort of the pads.

This is our second SlimFit 3-in-1 car seat and we love it. We have a small SUV and there is still space in the middle seat, after installing both car seats on each side in the back.

This is my second of this carseat. My child finds it and has always found it very comfortable. We got a second because of a car accident. My child was unharmed and didn’t have any whiplash. The seat seemed fine but getting a new one when in an accident is always safest.

My one year old twins love this car seat! They are both some comfortable and love the cup holders! It has much more cushion than our formers car seats. We will be a graco family! We love the color and how it will grow with the children!

I love the versatility and how easy it is to install! We have a smaller vehicle and it fits perfectly. It had two setting for rear facing, 1 sits baby up more, 2 leans back a bit. I haven’t tried the others out since she haven’t gotten there yet but for far i love it! Our 1 year old seems to be pretty comfy in there!

Love this car seat! I love how the cupholders can fold in making it easier to fit next to our other car seats. I also love the lower anchor belts on this one, way easier to install and uninstall, they work like regular seat belt buckles with the click part. Also I love the name of the color, my son’s name is Silas so it was meant to be! We also have the 3 in 1 snug fit in pink for our newborn and that one is also amazing!

2 of these fit well in the back of our Honda Accord with room to spare. That's the main reason we bought them! They're nice too, cupholders are a plus. Nothing fancy which I don't mind!

I absolutely love this car seat! I got it three years ago for my first and definitely had to order another when my second was born. The seat literally grows with them so you save money in the long run.

Now this is the how we ride. My boy been riding in style with the slim fit 3 in 1. It’s comfortable for him and I’m glad that we have a seat that will grow with him.

I love the ease of loosening the straps, pads are washable, and buckles hang over the sides to keep out of way. I’m a nanny and purchased the car seat so I always have one on hand. I love that it’s easy to use and safe.

Easy to use and doesn’t take up much space. We had the infant carrier until this and this is notably less bulky. I have a midsize suv (rav4) and fits fine. Being able to move the harness straps up and down with the button is nice too and makes it easier to adjust as needed

We switched from a Graco infant seat to this seat. 1 year old seems to find the seat comfortable and has plenty of room to grow into the seat. My only complaint is that rear facing in the truck causes the front seat to need moved up.

Great car seat. We love the slim design and the retractable cup holders. The favorite function is the anchor belt. It basically works like a seat belt where you can just click it on the anchors and then push a button to loosen! It’s so much quicker and I find it easier to secure the strap tightly. The car seat is multifunctional for various stages and has ample cushioning.

Solid and comfy. It will work for multiple ages and is built to last.

Easy to install. Adjusts easily to accommodate each of our grandchildren. Internal structure is well designed so it is easy to move straps around when you need to. Nice and slim, so can actually sit an adult between 2 car seats.

We got the Graco 3 in 1 seat and couldn’t be happier with how simple it was to install, and it came pre-assembled, which made things easy right out of the box. Will definitely be getting another one when we have another baby.

Big Graco fan! I bought this one to go in the middle seat of my bench seat. It’s slim enough that both of the seats on the side can be tilted without hitting it. The only thing I don’t absolutely love is the neck and head padding. The car seat is for my toddler and the strap pads and head pad just feels like cheaper material than the car seats I’ve purchased in the past. However, it doesn’t seem to both my toddler.

We needed a new car seat for our second car for our three year old, and he absolutely loves this car seat. He wants to go on evening drives because he loves it so much 😆

This is our second car seat this style - we really like it EXCEPT the plastic buckle that goes over the chest really digs in at the top when tightened.

I like the slim fit and sizing of this car seat, I did find the strap to tighten a little hard to pull on. I got this as it was highly recommended by several family and friends!

We own two of these now, they are great for our smaller car. It’s strange the difference the rotating cup feature makes. But I prefer this model to the other slightly older one we have where you can just remove the whole cup.

This car seat works well. Not as nice as the slimfit3 LX. Definitely feels cheaper which it is but has all the essentials.

Okay, moms if you’re debating car seats, let me just say the Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 is a must. We absolutely LOVE it! My baby falls asleep so quickly every time she’s in it. I’m talking knocked out in minutes, even on short drives. That’s how I know she’s super comfortable and feels secure. And honestly, that peace of mind is priceless. What I really appreciate is that it grows with her. I don’t have to worry about buying another seat in a year this one adjusts from rear-facing to forward-facing to a booster, so we’re covered for years. It feels sturdy, safe, and well-made, but it’s also not bulky like some of the others. It fits in our back seat without taking up our whole row, which is amazing. Also, it was really easy to install, and I love that it reclines and adjusts as she grows. The padding is super soft, and I love that she’s both protected and comfy. If you’re a new mom, or even just needing an upgrade, this seat checks all the boxes. Safety, comfort, practicality and it doesn’t take over your whole car. 10/10 recommend!

We love this caraway so much we have three, the slim design allows us to fit three in the back seat next to each other yet at the same time is big enough that our children are comfortable. They fall asleep without any difficulties in this car seat and stay comfortable which is nice in long road trips!

My daughter loves the seat, it’s very well padded and seems very comfortable for her. The only down side is the seat back doesn’t have a lot of ventilation so she does get a bit sweat on warm days but all in all a great seat. Very easy to setup and she seems very comfy in it!

Love the size and functionality of this car seat. Perfect fit for my 18 month old with plenty of room to grow. Currently using as forward facing in an Explorer and it fits well no problems.

This seat was easy to install and adjust while not installed while rearfacing. I wish the chest strap release button was easier to access (a simple flap in the fabric would be helpful). We have a Graco 4-in-1 too and I think that one is a bit more accessible. The cup holders on the 3-in-1are neat (they rotate open and closed) which might be useful as the baby gets bigger.

The carseat is easy to install. My child is comfortable. Very easy to adjust. Fits well in a small car.

This car seat has been great! We were able to fit this car seat, a bucket seat, and a fully grown adult in the back of a Crosstrek. It’s got way less bulk than other convertible car seats!

I bought this for my son March of 2023 and we still use it. It’s a great product and slim enough to fit him and my two teen daughters in the back of my Volkswagen Tiguan. I was fortunate to buy it with a coupon and on sale but I would have paid full price for it. Installation is easy, we move it from my car to my husband’s truck.

This car seat is easy to use, install and modify as your child gets bigger. It fits well in the backseat but not next to other car seats especially when the cup holders are out.

Good compact and sturdy design. Fairly easy to install, has enough room for toddler to be comfortable and really like that some of the material parts can be washed. Since it is slim fit the cup holders are a bit small but other than that has been good so far.

I was using a Chicco Key Fit 35 car seat before this. I think this Graco seat is difficult to adjust because the button to loosen the seat belt is hidden in the seat and very awkward to try and reach while installed in the car. The chest buckle feels wider and harder to unbuckle compared to the Chicco. The shoulder pads are a little rough, and fabric overall feels lower quality. All of that considered, I do feel that the price difference is significant enough to stick with this Graco. It gets the job done and 14 month old seems pretty comfortable. I do wonder if the extend2fit would have been better as his legs are already looking a little cramped and he sticks them out to the sides of the seat in rear facing.

This car seat has made life so much easier!! I don't mind going anywhere with my toddler. It is easy for me to get in and out of. Also, he can see soo much more! He interacts with other cars and points things out.

It’s just what I was looking for to transition my little one from rear to forward facing.

Bought this slim fit seat for our daughter 3 years ago and now bought another for our 1 yr old son as we just transitioned him from his old one with a removable carrier. They’re not extremely slim, but certainly less bulky than most regular car seats. Both kids seem to be quite comfortable in them. With the angle, height and strap adjustments, I feel like we’ll be able to use these all the way up until we decide to go with basic booster seats when they get older. The seats are very easy to put in and take out which is super nice! Overall, we’re very happy we went with these.

We bought one of these a couple years ago and liked the value so much we bought another. Our 14 month old baby figured out how to unbuckle his other seat, but not this one. The seats give our kids enough room without taking up too much width in the car. When not in use, the cup holders can be pivoted to take up less space. The seats are also easy to clip in and not bad if you use a seat belt for front facing. We plan to use these for many years since the labels say they are good for 10 years.

so far we like this car seat! we are transitioning from a nuna infant car seat and so far our baby (7 months) likes her new Graco car seat. it fits well in our highlander and i'm a fan of how much room we have to grow in it!

Repeat buy. We like because of multi grandkids we were able to fit 3 across on those rare conditions in our Honda pilot. One Daughter actually went with wider one and she liked it. However when we bought slim for latest granddaughter she confirmed she like slimline more when having to move between cars. Original slimline ones holding up well. Fits well in Jeep gladiator and did use in G37 convertible a few times. Iike that straps for clicking in

I have one of these in each car. The color is nice and I feel it’s easy enough to set up. It’s got great directions included. My only hang up is it can be difficult to press the button to unlock the seat belt. Maybe I’ve got a weak hand, but I can get so frustrated, I have my husband step in to help.

This is a great seat to last your child through their different stages of life! Everything comes apart if theres a mess, and it's fairly easy to switch it to different vehicles. My only concern is sometimes it can be hard to pull the seat anchors snug enough due to the angle you have to pull the belt.

I loved the fact that I can have two car seats next to each other and still have enough space for a third person. I am always very picky with what I buy for my kid’s but I think I made a great choice. No issues for now. My husband just had a little of a rough time installing it though it seems very sturdy and safe. Love the cushion and is very comfortable.

Perfect for my new little nephew! Fits great in my ford focus, a safe, snug fit for the coolest baby dude. All of the customizations are awesome! Love the overall functionality of the car seat. My only complaint is finding a rear facing carseat that fits in a Hyundai Elantra. I hug the steering wheel or my passenger hugs the dash. However I will never buy anything other than Graco brand!

A reliable, good-looking and safe carseat. The only minus - and it's a big one - is that the straps/buckles that tie into a car's built-in anchors are too short. Transferring the car seats from car to car was such a headache. Each time, we had to wrestle with the too short belts. It should be a system that provides adequate strap length for any car and which can be tightened if necessary.

Definitely a slim fit car seat! I love that the cup holders lock in/out of place for use! It fits well in my husbands truck and isn’t as bulky as the others.

I love this car seat. Compared to the previous car seat we used, it is much easier to tighten the straps. It is also much more comfortable for our baby who is able to sit up a little more than she would in her old car seat. Our baby also loves being able to see more than just the sky. This car seat is my absolute favorite! We have had many car seats between both our kids, and this one is so sleek and comfortable for the kids. They have room to grow with it! And it has cup holders that you can swivel in ans out to save space!

The seat was mostly assembled when it arrived and all I had to do was fit the straps to my grandson.

I purchased two of these for my twins for when their godfather needs to transport them to daycare for me. I would say that they are very good value for the money. I believe we got them on sale at Target. They go up to 100 lb and allow me to rear face my two four year olds comfortably in the back of their godfather's Volkswagen golf. This is a big deal for me as children are safer generally when they are rear-faced and many car seat manufacturers for parents to front face kids after a certain weight range. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a safe budget car seat that grows with your child.

I have Volkswagen Taos so finding a car seat that would fit was a little tricky but this one has been perfect and my LO seems comfy she's usually a sleep in minutes!

I really love this car seat. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of reviews before finally purchasing this one and it did not let me down. Even though it says slimfit it is still a pretty large car seat. I have a Ford escape and rear facing its a bit of a squeeze but it still fits. It's sooo easily adjustable that it makes me mad that my other car seat was so hard. No undoing the straps in the ba k to move them up, just click a button and adjust the headrest to move them to your child's height. Also easiest installation of a car seat in my 10 years of parenting hands down.

Good for travel but honestly it's big... it's so difficult to take with you because despite being light weight it's still big so hard to take in and out at security checks with a toddler and also then put in the plane. Yes, I used it a lot during my vacation and yes it's the comfiest out of all the car seats but probability is an issue

I currently use this car seat for my 3yo. It’s a bit on the heavy side but I like it braces I can’t stop have him rear facing. I think he’ll be able to reach the age of 4 rear facing and I’m really happy about that. It’s very compact.

Great car seat size for my second row bucket seats. It is relatively easy to attach to the seat. However, it is difficult to get the seat stable. It requires a lot of downward pressure to have a stable fit. I am a grandparent and needed help anchoring the seat.

We really loved trying the new Slim Fit car seat. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing it to us. The install was easy and we liked that it is slim and small enough that in our small car we didn’t feel cramped. We are currently still using the rear facing and it has been really easy for our daughter to get in and out of! She likes the cozy headrests and is enjoying using it as well. I was given a Graco SlimFit 3 in 1 car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. There are so many car seats on the market to choose from, but this seat has many features that set it apart from the rest. It has a modern design and fits easily in vehicles that don't have very a lot of space. It is versatile being that it can be used front or rear facing (I have only used rear facing feature). The headrest can also be raised so it grows with your child. You can install the seat using the anchor bars in your car or the seatbelt, which makes it easy to transfer to and from other vehicles if need be. I like how the seat flap flips upward so you can see what you’re doing when putting the seatbelt through instead of trying to fish it through small holes in each side. The car seat also has a lot of padding inserts in it (which are machine washable and can be removed if desired) providing comfort along with extra safety if an accident should occur. My child has reflux issues so one of my favorite features is that you can adjust the recline angle to suit your child’s comfort. My first impression right out of the box was how it wasn’t short on looks, this is a very chic looking car seat, if there is such a thing. Sturdy and durable. This seat is exactly what the doctor ordered for our baby inside our Audi sedan!!! Really easy to install and a definite space saver. I love how versatile it is. There are many adjustment levels according to weight and height which is my favorite part — this is such a good investment for a growing kid. Love the padding. All in all, this is a good looking, ridiculously functional, hardy option for a car seat — really grateful to have this. This car seat is an absolute MUST if you have more than one child. We now have 4 of these car seats and honestly, the slim design is essential to make our smaller SUVs as space efficient as possible. We had a different car seat for our older two children, but after trying the SlimFit 3-in-1 seat, we purchased two more for our other children. I love this carseat. I bought one 6 years ago when I had my son and got it again now for my daughter. It does not take too much of the space from the back row and at the same time my kids seemed to enjoyed it a lot. It is very sturdy, of course and gives you piece of mind because you know your little one is protected. As a plus, the one I got now comes with the cushion in purple, which is such a nice color.

We have been fans of this car seat now for years and love it so much we have two! The newer version has upgraded padding on the sides, with the same great features as before such as collapsing cupholders and so many adjustable settings. I also love the additional seat insert padding for tiny kids. My kids love the cupholders! We don’t collapse them much because of that, but it’s nice to have the option. We could never go back to a seat without two cupholders. We have a small car and two young kids so the slim design is perfect for space saving. The latch system is super easy to install and pretty quick to switch from rear to forward facing settings. Adjusting this seat into a booster is even easier and can literally be done with one hand. This seat is not lightweight, but it’s sturdy and very durable. We’ve used this seat since my oldest was one, and even now that he’s four, he fits great and will continue to be able to use this seat for another few years even! This is our second of these car seats! We received this one free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but purchased the first on our own 2 years ago. The first is still in use, now as a forward facing seat and we will soon transition it to a booster. We’re using the new one rear facing for the 2.5 year old. Both kids love the seat! It’s more spacious for my 2.5 year old than the higher end convertible we moved from. Our 5 year old also sits very comfortably in his. I definitely notice upgrades since the prior version, primarily in fabric quality and ease of reattaching fabric after a wash. The install is easy and quick both forward and rear facing. We moved these around fairly often to clean under and the reinstallation is fast. I really like the

Its slim design makes it possible for us to fit 3 across. We have young children, and all, but one, are in either an infant, convertible or booster seat so being slim is very important for us. As far as aesthetics, its modern, sleek design makes this car seat look as good as its functionality and safety. One example of good functionality is its rotating cup holders to save space. As for safety, it is said to withstand any possible accident with its reinforced steel. It just looks and feels good all around, and the color scheme I received is gender neutral so that’s a plus. Installation, we heard a click to know we were all set, and adjusting the seat for the child I’m currently using it for was super simple too. I would say both took no more than 5 minutes. Being that we have many young children this seat will definitely get used in various stages till it expires which is 10 years from the manufacturer date. I appreciate the fact that it is safe for children from 5 pounds to 100 pounds and for rear and forward-facing positions plus it turns into a high-back booster. I have a compact sedan (Mazda 3), so I need a car seat that's compact and doesn't take up too much space. The Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 claims to be 10% slimmer and more compact than regular car seats. The one I have is in the Jarret color, which has a modern look with good-quality fabric. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. It took me less than 10 minutes to properly install the car seat. The red/green indicator makes it easy to know when it's locked in place properly. This car seat has a 4-position recline, with 2 positions for rear-facing and 2 positions for forward-facing. There's an indicator for the safe recline position, and it's easy to change the recliner position with just one hand. It also has 10 headrest positions to accommodate children's height as they grow. It's easy to tighten or loosen the straps and harness as the child will continuously grow. The Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 is relatively lightweight (around 19lb) compared to my daughter's previous car seat (32lb). I can easily carry and move it to different cars. It's a bit heavy but still manageable to carry with a car seat travel backpack during traveling or lugging it through the airport. I tested carrying this using a car seat travel backpack for 2 miles of walking. When the car seat is in the forward-facing position, there's still plenty of space. However, when I set the car seat to the rear-facing position, I need to push the front seat pretty far forward to get it properly placed. Luckily, I'm still able to sit comfortably (I'm 5'3") while the car seat is in the rear-facing position. Unfortunately, my husband (5'9") can't drive and sit properly because he can't move the seat back enough to accommodate his legs. There's still space in the middle of the seat if I install 2 car seats. It's enough for a teenager to sit or place my bags or groceries. The cover is easy to take off and is washable. My daughter often vomits in the car due to motion sickness, so a fully removable and washable car seat is a must for me to keep the car seat looking new and clean. The Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 has an innovative cupholder design. The unused cupholder can be rotated away to save space. I kind of wish it was fully removable so I could thoroughly clean the cupholder because my daughter loves snacking and makes a mess in her car seat. I was lucky enough to receive this carseat as part of the stellar product testing panel right when my daughter was getting too big for her infant seat (she will be 2 soon she's just small). Some things I love about it: it has pretty small profile which works out well since I have to fit 3 kids in my tiny back seat. I am using it rearranging at the moment and love that I can swivel the cup holders in to save some space so I don't have to hear about her cup holders from the other kiddos. Most importantly I love that I don't have to completely reeout the straps to adjust when she grows-- it's got the type of headrest where u can move the straps and headrest by squeezing the top and I couldn't be happier with that. As far as comfort goes my little girl adores it I has to take it out to get my car detailed and she was sitting in it inside the house. The cons: I suppose it could be slightly narrower, I does wncroach on the seatbelts next to it a little but honestly that may be just a my car issue I drive a challenger it wasn't exactly meant to be a mom car. I also haven't tried taking the cover off for cleaning but honestly I do that very rarely anyway it seems pointless at this phase in her life. I think it will be even better when she's orward facing because themln I can really open up the cup holders and take advantage of that aspect. As it stands it's one of the best carseats we've owned, was easy to install and remove when needed, and my kid loves it.

I got to test out this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I liked the size of the car seat. It did save us a few inches of space between the car seat and the 2 boosters he have crammed in the back of a small SUV. It gave the middle kid a better ride, as the car seat wasn't encroaching on their space. As for is modern design, I'm not sure how new or different it really is. The compact size and non-bulky headrest or cup holders was definitely new. Which was useful for those of us who don't have minivans and are at full capacity for the car. The install was pretty standard, nothing crazy. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the anchor strap is locked under a red bar, while that keeps it from coming loose, it also kept me from being able to flip the strap the other way so I could tighten it easily from the outside. Having to crawl into the car to tighten it from the inside, between the car seat and the booster next to it, was not the most fun I've ever had. Also, the release buttons on the anchor strap were quite difficult to push down. I have issues with my hands and had to use both hands to press down to get them unhooked. Knowing I won't have to adjust much to move to the booster function will be super helpful. After how hard I had to push on the anchor buckles I was very surprised how easy it was to undo the chest clip. The folding cup holders are great because they hold a real sized cup unlike a lot of car seats, and being able to fold them away makes leaning in to grab something much easier. Overall, a solid choice for a car seat when you don't have the space for a bulky one.

It was hard for the Grandmas to lift. This Slimfit model feels way lighter & more compact, but my little guy still has plenty of space in the car seat. He said it’s “comfy” the padding is nice and plush. We like the all black and especially the rotating cup holders! It fits easily on our seat without hanging over the edge at all. Super easy to install, the lightness made it even better easier to maneuver and position. This will make car seat swaps from car to car faster and easier, 100%! I especially like the middle buckle is easily slid between 3 different positions to accommodate the size of your child. This was something I always struggled with moving on our other car seat, and it only offered 2 positions. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Panel. I have two under two so I was excited to try this out as my youngest is still in a newborn carrier. I put my one and a half year old in the seat to see her thoughts compared to her current convertible seat. Her seat has a lot of cushion, and I would say this Graco seat supplied the same comfort for $100 LESS than I paid for her other seat! I love that the Graco truly is a slim fit, but still has lots of room for your toddler to comfortably move their legs as they often do. My absolute favorite feature was the cup holders! My other seat you have to completely remove them, but on this seat you literally just pop it out with one rotation. This was a game changer because I don’t have to keep up with an accessory when not in use! The infant cushions were super easy to take in and out. I actually loved how that part was designed because it felt like it was innovative. Overall I am super impressed. The chest clip was harder to unclip than most seats but this is actually a pro instead of a con as it feels safer. The only thing I would change is the shoulder strap cushions as they were a little wide and bulky. Adjusting it to fit my toddler vs my two month old was a little tricky. I would suggest taking time to read the instructions carefully beforehand so you can speed this up. This seat has made such a difference in space saving overall. The material is also much better than my luxury car seat because it stays dry and cool in the humidity. I’d love to see it in more neutral tones like tan/camel or beige! This seat is a no-brainer when it comes to value, safety, and comfort!

We purchased and had this seat shipped to my parents for a visit home with our daughter when she was just over a year old, and I was so happy with it I ordered one for my vehicle when we returned home. Going on two years now and the seat has held up great. I love how easy it is to move and adjust. My daughter (now 4) prefers this over her Britax. Yes, my daughter went through a phase where she would undo the chest clip, but after putting a zip up hoodie over the straps she stopped. It washes well and is easy to clean. My only suggestion would be to make the cupholders fully removable.

2020 Chev Impala, full size rear sear. Perfect size, and growth potential. But you need extremely small hands or 2 people to pull car seat belt through. I am small, and my hands got stuck inside, skinning wrists to struggle to remove my hand(s). Must have been designed in Asia.

the seat is not as slim as listed . its not as wide but doesnt fit lengthwise.. in order to get the right settings for rear faceing you must have alot of cabin room in the back seat .. i have a chevy cruze and its tight in the back unless you move the seat in an unconfortable position.. its a good thing the front is rated for 22lbs min that way if your child meets the 22lbs and or 49inchs you can just filp it and it and then the child and what ever seat you put it behind are confortable ..

A few months ago we got this seat for my toddler who is picky about his car seat comfort. So far we have had zero complaints and I notice him napping in the car again! We are expecting a second baby and got a graco infant seat because we have had the best experience with graco products.

I bought this because my son was getting to heavy for the infant seat. I’m so happy with my purchase. Works great with my small car, also still able to fit a booster seat on one side and an older child on the other side. This seat is great, I have purchased 2 for our vehicles. The only issue I have had is the safety tags fading after washing which Graco has been really helpful with resolving the issue.

We bought our first one 1.5 years ago for my Chevy Cruze. This slim fit fits perfectly within my car. Now my youngest just outgrew her car seat carrier at only 9 months old! For the price tag, you can't beat the SlimFit® 3-in-1 Car Seat! It grows with your child. It is a sturdy car seat. Its slim design makes it sleek by not adding all that bulkiness to the backseat of the car. We have two car seats in the back of our car, and the inch or two makes all the difference in the comfort of the person in the middle of the car seats. The less bulkiness of it makes it look more modern. Since it's usually not as bulky as other car seats, it is easier to move around and install. The install was easy with the latch system. Getting him fitted correctly in the seat was easy too with the no rethread harness. It makes it so quick and simple to find the correct position of the straps. My two and a half year old is pictured in the photos, and he has plenty of room to grow into it. I love that you can just buy this from birth and continue to use it until they no longer need a car seat. There is no need to spend more money switching out to different car seats. The rear facing 4 position recline would have been very handy if we had gotten it when he was a baby. As mentioned previously, we do have two children and wish we had another Slimfit as our other car seat. Our older car seat now seems so bulky compared to the Slimfit. I was give this car seat as part of the Stellar Product testing Panel and it could not have come at a better time. We just had our 5th baby and we have three in car seats. This car seat was the perfect fit to add to our mini van and still have a little room left over. It’s a very nice looking car seat and I love how easy and functional it is to use. It’s so easy to hook up. We have it forward facing and didn’t have any problems installing it. I love how easy it is to adjust to my child the on handed adjust is so nice. It took no time at all to get a proper fit for my 2 year old. The slim design is so much less bulky and fits so easy in the car. The cup holders are nice because you can open them up if you have room or they kind of fold into themselves if you need more space. I do have to say that though it is slim it is still pretty heavy. It’s still not a car seat I would love to haul through an airport but for a stationary car seat that I don’t plan on moving it is perfect. That’s why the 4 stars. I just wish it was a little lighter. Over all it is a sleek, nice looking, easy car seat that I would recommend.

We have two small kiddos, a dog, and need to travel with sooooooooooo much stuff. Our vehicles are on the smaller side and when you have to fit everyone’s things, a pack&play, two car seats, a large dog, and two adults into the car, the space dwindles quickly (iykyk). So anything that saves space is a lifesaver. The slim design definitely helps with that. Because it isn’t too wide, we are able to utilize the middle seat for cargo which is super helpful. I was really impressed the moment I took out the slim fit 3 in 1 car seat out of the box, it was very light and the padding was very comfortable. I love how compact & slim it is, with my precious car seat, my kids didn’t have much space and struggled to buckle up. I feel like my car even looks more spacious and organized. It’s a win for everyone. The dark color is stylish and also great to hide any stains from the dirty little fingers that will get on it. The best part was how fast and easy the installation part was. When we first took the slim fit 3 in 1 out of the box we noticed how comfortable the padding and material was. It installed easily into our car with the latch system. We have had a hard time tightening the strap in other models but this one was quite smooth. We currently have 3 kids across in the backseat. One rear facing child who is 1 and used this seat. We also have a high back booster using kiddo and a big kid who sits inbetween them. He noted right away how he had more room and it was easier for him to buckle. We can tell that when we turn the seat forward he will also have much more space than with our previous seat. The adjustable cup holders are a convenient feature. They are very low profile compared to most other models but still give the toddler the option to have her drink or snacks within reach. We are excited to use this seat for years to come. The only con we would say is that when in the high back booster phase this seat is much heavier than a typical booster seat because it has the latch system for infant/toddler use, so we likely wouldn’t choose it for moving from car to car but rather keep it as a permanent booster seat in the main car. My seat is fitted on the proper recline graco recommends inserts removed as required and straps coming below the shoulders and my poor son was asleep and was SCREAMING when he woke up I looked back and his head was stuck between the head rest and the seat. Also you can’t change the recline level without uninstalling the seat which is very inconvenient. Will be uninstalling the seat and buying a different one although I’ve just bought this a couple weeks ago.

I’ve had this car seat for almost a year now. My child is now Two. Average size. She is now able to move herself forward while I’m driving and the straps start to loosen up. In the case of an accident, I’m terrified what could happen. Even if I pull the straps as tight has the comfortably go along with rising the middle lock towards her chest it will still loosen when she attempts to move forward. Very upsetting. Such a safety hazard. This should be recalled.

I purchased this slim fit 3 in 1 for my son who is 2. Liked how it is less bulky but also seems safe with added padding for side impact. I was very disappointed when my son started undoing the chest clip and then pulling his arms out while I was driving! I had to return it to Target because it wasn't safe for him. I also emailed Graco customer service and they told me to try and train my son not to open the chest clip. Not helpful as other parents have complained about the very same issue and I feel it should be recalled and redesigned.

I bought this seat a little over two years ago and was happy until recently. My two year old leans forward and the straps loosen where he can escape. The strap do not lock in place it just a small amount of resistance they loosen. In the event of an accident my child would have been thrown from the vehicle! We’ve had to replace the seat because it’s such a hazard. Is there a recall on any of the parts?!?

I chose this car seat for its slim design. However, my 2 year old learned on the FIRST day we put him in how to unlatch the top buckle. He unbuckles it every car ride. It is unsettling to drive knowing that he is able to unbuckle, and consequently take his arms out from under the shoulder straps. Disappointed this doesn't have a better, more secure design.

With 3 grandkids under the age of 4 we now have 3 of these SlimFit seats in the family. While the seats are great serving their purpose, every time we need to install one frustration soars because of a major omission in the Instruction Manual. Specifically, the section 4-B Install Forward Facing With LATCH. Step 3 tells you where to locate and remove the Lower Anchor connectors and Tether. But there is no further mention of how you get on to Step 6 for threading the Anchor Connectors through the back of the seat to then attach them to the vehicle's lower anchors. HINT: YOIU NEED TO REMOVE MOST OF THE SEAT'S UPHOLSTERY TO THEN SEE A LABEL SHOWING HOW TO THREAD THE ANCHORS THOUGH THE SEAT BACK!! It's as if the designers have never had to install their own product.

Got this for my 5 year and HATE it with a passion. With the headrest in the fully extended position, backing up is a challenge (and scary) due to it totally blocking the back side window. Once the headrest goes higher then the back of the seat, it's a problem. It's a good car seat EXCEPT for that.

I am currently a mom of two under two so they both sit in a real facing car seat. We have a compact crossover SUV with only one car seat and we have a full SUV with two car seats. We had a used car seat in the compact crossover SUV so it was nice to be given this car seat to try in our crossover as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a solid car seat. The instructions were easy to understand and I found it easy to install. You can install by using the seat anchors or secure with the car's seat belt. The seat reclines and the headrest is easily adjustable for whichever one of my kids I am driving. The car seat is "slim" but has plenty of room for the kids & enough passenger seat space if I'm in the back with one of them. It also has a couple of cup holders for their drinks. Although, I am not the one sitting in the car seat itself, my kids seem to be comfortable and will often fall asleep during drives. What I like most about the car seat is that it can be transformed to rear or front facing and will grow with them. It's also a booster seat for when they are older! This prevents me from buying multiple car seats as they grow. Overall, it's a solid all-in-one and I'd recommend.

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how light it is and the size of the car seat. I have 3 children and we needed a car seat that was slim for my husband's truck, this one fit the bill in more than one way. From previous experience I have heard my husband complain about how difficult if was to install the car seat, this one was a breeze and he had zero complaints about it. My child who is using the seat was ecstatic to see that the cup holders turn to become cups and then they can be turned back when you don't need a cup holder. I have been so impressed with how easy it is for my child to get in and out of the car seat, our previous seat was hard for my child to unbuckle on their own. The slim design also allows my other child who sits in the middle to be able to easily buckle themself in without having to try to go behind the car seat. I also love that I can easily take the car seat apart to clean the fabric parts, which is not the case with many other car seats. We have 3 little munchkins, all in car seats. The Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 car seat has been a much welcomed addition. This car seat is not as wide or as bulky as our previous car seat. So there is no overlapping with the car seat beside it. The car seat comes with clear instructions for which ever install you need to do. I am a big fan of the color coded install instructions on the car seat itself, so you don't have to worry about having the manual with you to install it. The Slimfit 3-in-1 was by far one of the easiest car seats I've installed. In less than 10 minutes I had it belted in, hooked to the latch system, leveled, and ready to take my little munchkins out on the town. The material is very soft, easy to spot clean, and the pudding isn't thin. If you push down on it you don't feel the hard frame of the car seat like you do with some car seats. And our 5 year says it's "super comfy". Car seats are expensive, and I love that the Slimfit 3-in-1 is a grow with your child from birth to 100 lbs. This car seat comes with dual cup holders that are built in, they rotate inward to collapse them. It has been a small time saver for me, because I haven't had to search the backseat to find missing cupholders that have popped off and the kids just tossed down. My biggest love about this Car seat is the harness and headrest adjust with a lever. Cause as a busy momma I don't have time to take the car seat out, make adjustments and reinstall it. My only complaint is the bottom buckle—it sits a bit too far back, so my son ends up almost sitting on it. I wish it were slightly bigger or more adjustable for comfort. We have been using the SlimFit 3-in-1 Car Seat for my 21 month old son as a rear-facing seat, and there is so much we love about it! It only took a few minutes to set-up and install, and it was easy for my husband to do alone. Based on how easy the set-up and installation were, I anticipate it will be just as easy to convert to a forward-facing seat when my son is big enough. This car seat accommodates infants as well, and with my second due in October, it’s helpful to know she can also use it, if we need. I have a small SUV, and the backseat is fairly tight. I previously had a very bulky car seat that took up a ton of space. Having the slim fit design has made the backseat much more comfortable when I have friends or family sitting in the back middle seat, without compromising on safety. The cup holders are a must! My previous car seat did not have cup holders, which was a huge pain. My son loves having snacks and water in the car, but he would constantly drop them over the side and then scream because he couldn’t reach. This car seat has 2 cup holders that rotate in and out, so there is plenty of room for snacks, beverages, and small toys. Adjusting the harness tightness is incredibly easy and can even be done with child in-seat. My last one required taking apart the whole car seat to adjust the straps underneath the seat pad, so I am thrilled to have a much more user-friendly harness. The clips are also easy to click and unclick. The seat pad is machine-washable. I can’t believe I was living without this! My toddler dropped raspberries in his car seat, and spot cleaning was a nightmare. Being able to throw the pad in the washing machine and air dry overnight has become a non-negotiable for our family. The only feature I can think of that I wish it had is that I wish it rotated. Totally not a dealbreaker, though, as this car seat really is otherwise perfect, and I see our family using it for many years to come. I highly recommend this carseat for children of all ages, and best to start when the kids are younger to get the most use out of it. I recently bought two of these car seats as my son already has one and I bought an extra two for my Car seat rental business . These car seats work wonderfully they're very comfortable they're easy to change depending on the age and size of the child they're very easy to install and I like how they are just slightly slimmer than a general model so it's easier to fit them in more cars. It is a great purchase and I would do it again in the future if I need more car seat seats for my business.

He is almost 8 and has been in the same car seat from rear facing until 4yrs old to forward facing in harness mode and now we switched him to High Back Booster mode. And through all these years this car seat has cleaned up so well. It still looks brand new like I just pulled it out of the box. And it converts so easy between every stage of life. Thank you for making an amazing car seat that truly lasts through childhood like you advertise! I have loved this seat so much since getting the first in 2019 I went on to by 5 more once I had my youngest in 2021. We have one set in each of our 3 vehicles so we don’t have to move between cars even though installation is so easy!

I’m so happy that me and my husband bought this car seat. We were involved in a horrible car accident. My baby and I are ok and my husband is healing thank God. Unfortunately we were not able to register the car seat right away then the accident happened. I bought this about 3 months ago , my daughter is chunky chunky and out grew her graco infant seat, we tried a different brand seat, just because the graco ones were sold out at our local store and it did not feel safe at all. It was an immediate return and I went on Amazon and ordered our slim fit, we drive a Nissan Versa , very small and compact , this car seat is a PERFECT fit! Enough room for another car seat or two more kids in the back still! Fits behind the seat and she loves it , no fuss and super comfy for baby!

I recently purchased the Slim fit 3 n 1 Darcie car seat for my son. He was riding in a pink minnie mouse hand me down car seat which is bulky and wider. The slim fit , fits perfect in my newer Ford explorer with split seats. My other children can get in and move around it to get to the 3rd row seats with no issues. I have it tilted in a 3 position. My sons sits and sleeps comfortable in it.

I bought this item about 6 months ago for my now 13month old. I love this seat! I have 4 kids and this fits nicely into my car, with a graco booster seat next to it, with the ability to slide the side seat forward so the older kids can get in the back. It is a very nice and sturdy car seat!

This car seat had an easy setup and was light enough to maneuver. Our son has been able to grow with the seat. The headrest is able to extend to fit the child’s height. The buckles are easy to work and tighten/loosen when needed.

My children and I were in a pretty bad car accident yesterday. Everyone in the car was hurt besides my 1 year old daughter who was strapped snugly into her Graco Slimfit car seat. She didn’t even cry! Needless to say, I bought a new one that night. Graco has me as a customer for life.

Bought 2 of these seats in 2020, did a lot of research and wanted to make sure i didnt have to buy another seat for my child. was great when she was an infant liked it until she has become school age and needs assistance getting in and out of the seat. The seat sits up higher and makes it hard for her to get in and out of. But this seat is easy to install, clean, convert from rear to forward. All around perfect seat.

The Graco SlimFit® 3-in-1 Car Seat really brings me peace of mind with all the safety features. The side cup holders are a plus! Not to mention it was easy to install and the product is super secure and comfortable.

Child can unbuckle the chest buckle and there doesn’t seem to be any way to replace the chest buckle with a stronger one. The seat is well padded and very adjustable, but the chest buckle issue makes this seat hard to recommend.

My 18 months old can unbuckle the plastic harness clip by herself. Poor design. She constantly unbuckles herself while we are driving the car which causes us to pull over all of the time. Shouldn't be this easy for a toddler to do this.

I purchased this carseat to fit in my smaller suv. While it fit in the car nicely, my child did not. He is small for his size so his head would fall down on his chest even though he was within the weigh range and height range that the carseat recommended. His shoulder would also fall out of the harness no matter how tight we made it. Sometimes so tight it would leave red marks on our poor baby's shoulders.

This is our second time purchasing this model, and it continues to work great. Fairly easy to install, comfortable for our child, and we can fit a small adult in between 2 of these carseats in our sedan.

Would not tighten at all in the car. Best way I can describe is imagine a zip line that's 5 ft long, and you string along a 3 ft "car seat." The other 2 ft of slack allow the car seat to move from side to side. That is what occurred with both this seat as well as the DLX. No matter how tight I had it installed, it still slipped from side to side. It also lifted on the back end that was closest to the front seat where adults sits. Meaning, if I were to accelerate rapidly (unrealistically, but not so much if I were rear ended at high speeds), the seat would lift off at it's rear and the child's face would launch towards the actual vehicle seat. I know this is hard to describe via text and not seeing it, but hopefully this makes sense. Very disappointed, as we totaled our car years ago and our daughter walked away with a minor abrasion because of her amazing Graco. Wish this would've worked.

I tried a cheaper brand of car seat for my third baby, but I had to go back and get this seat. My older two boys have Graco forever car seats and the quality, comfort, and ease are what drew me back into getting this brand. My baby hated her other seat which was an infant carrier. She absolutely loves her Graco, and doesn’t mind spending a few hours in it if necessary.

I bought this car seat for my son when he turned 8 months and it was the best decision. He’s now 3 years old and fits in perfectly. He’s completely comfortable in it & I love the color pattern. Unfortunately we were involved in a car accident on New Years and we were told we have to dispose of the car seat after being in an accident. Anyway, overall great choice!!!

5 point harness failed in 3 days. It would not stay tight. Almost as if the release button was activated but it was not.

Beware!!! Experienced Mom here, bought what I thought was the safest best fitting car seat. I’ve never used anything but Graco products for nearly 20 years. But I was very disappointed to find out that this model doesn’t allow the straps to be removed AT ALL for cleaning. Horrible purchase for us since our 2 year old has issue with motion sickness. Will definitely be looking for something else.

Very functional car seat. Easy to get my 2-year-old grandson in and out. Took a bit to learn how all of the straps are loosened and tightened, but once I got that down, works like a charm. Fits him very well.

My 20 month old cannot fit rear facing as our state law mandates. His feet/legs are jammed against thr back of the seat. An extension is needed. Don’t be fooled like I was that this is rear facing. Very disappointed in a product that markets it as a 3in1. It is not.

We returned them because they don’t have the safety rating we wanted. We then ordered the Graco forever DLX.

I have 4 of these car seats! 2 in my Nissan Armada and 2 in my husbands Toyota Tundra. I felt compelled to write my own review after reading all the negative ones online, because in my opinion this car seat deserves 5 stars! Mind you I’m that person who reads the manual, and in fact still have them in the back pocket holder of all 4 car seats . I only had an issue tightening the straps one time, I called Graco and come to find out there was food stuck below the seat within the strap compartment which had the strap in a bind. My kids are now 6 and 4 and I’ve had these seats for YEARS, in fact the only reason I was on the site was to review the standards for possibly changing to booster seat position. These are slim, reliable car seats that don’t break the bank. I moved my daughter to hers after she outgrew the infant carrier, my son has been in his since about 6 months. I do break them down and wash all the parts Occasionally. And I also blow them out with the compressed air at the car wash when I’m there (I’m a bit of a neat freak). In my opinion you cannot go wrong with these seats. I briefly used a Cicco and my daughter liked this Graco better because it has 2 cup holders. Currently my son just turned 4 and is 42lbs and my daughter is 6 and also 42-43 lbs.

Don’t advertise this product as an infant seat if the seat cannot be removed from the base and carried with the baby in it. Now we have to go buy another and it won’t be a Graco.

Great car seat for kids, seems pretty comfortable. This is the second car seat of this kind we purchased for our kids and they are very easy to use.

I want to start by saying, my oldest of four is almost 17, and my youngest being 1. We have ALWAYS owned Graco Baby products. From car seats, to pack n plays, swings, strollers ect in all these years! So rightfully so, once my baby was ready to come out of his graco infant carrier, we decided on the graco slimfit as it went up to 100lbs and would last him until he was ready for a seat booster around age 5. We have now only had the seat for right at a year, with it being properly anchored into our van. Still looks brand new. Decided last week to remove it and give it a little wipe down while cleaning out my van. When I moved the chest clip I noticed the chest belt on one side was unraveling where the chest clip sits. I immediately got online to enter all my car seats details to submit a claim as I knew it was still under warranty. After several days of being without a car seat for our baby, I finally got ahold of a Graco rep today. She recieved my claim and photos submitted and advised the car seat was defective and no longer safe and needed to be destroyed and disposed of. She also advised bevies those strap are not removable there are no replacement parts. I asked her since the car seat is clearly defective as it’s like brand new still under warranty and my baby is only a year old would they replace the seat as I paid a lot of good money for this seat. I am a stay at home mom of four with only my husbands income. But again always make sure to splurge for quality Graco products as we always have. I was advised by Graco they do not replace the seats if the parts are not replaceable as that is just normal west and tear. So you mean to tell you advertise your seat for up to 100 pounds, being easily a grade school aged kid or larger, with the expiration date lasting five to seven years (whatever timeframe it is) but it doesn’t even last my one year old baby but a year before coming apart? I’ve NEVER in the almost 17 years as a mother had any of my Graco car seats or products do this to me. And the fact that I now have to save up to buy another car seat out of pocket yet again after being without a car seat since last week. I’m so disappointed as this has always been our go to company for all baby gear! I have attached a photo of the unraveling of the chest strap.

Overall a great car seat, fairly slim but not as slim as I needed it to be so I returned it. Would have loved to keep it! Super easy to get a tight install, and the recline + no re-thread harness are always a bonus

We should have bought this sooner! It not only looks great but also fits great in our mid-sized SUV. Our daughter seems to like it much better than her infant carrier. Will probably be buying another one for our other vehicle!
