Watch Out For
Community Q&A
- How do you position the baby in the sling and later stages?
- In the sling, baby's head rests on the rounded pad with butt against seat bottom; later stages require adjusting seat insert, but many parents find positions awkward and overfill water for comfort.
- How do you keep the baby warm during the bath?
- Parents recommend overfilling past the max line, using a warm washcloth on baby's belly, and ensuring the room is warm.
- How do you clean under the seat insert?
- You need to pop out the seat to clean underneath, which can be inconvenient, especially with the drain plug located under the newborn seat.
Compared To
vs Angelcare Bath Support
Some parents found the Angelcare more comfortable for newborns but lacking in longevity compared to the Fisher-Price.
vs Skip Hop Moby
The Skip Hop Moby was liked by some but considered less ideal for keeping baby seated; the Fisher-Price was preferred for longer usability.
vs Frida Baby 4-in-1
Mixed opinions: some loved the Frida, while others found the Fisher-Price more comfortable for long-term use.

Fisher Price 4-in-1 praised for longevity but transitional awkwardness
We used the Fisher Price 4-in-1 since our LO was a newborn. He will be one tomorrow and still uses it! The transitional stages were a touch awkward each time as he outgrew the last stage but overall, we’ve really liked it. Definitely just need to be mindful to rinse it/keep it clean and pop the seat out to clean under it once you get to that stage.

Quick bath convenience and sling usage until sitting
We have the fisher price rinse and grow tub, love it. used the sling until LO was sitting up by himself (like moves to sit by himself not just me setting him in a sitting position), then removed it. Good for a nice quick bath after supper instead of running water for the big tub

Using the 4-in-1 without sling: positioning challenges and overfilling
We used it inside our bath tub after a few weeks/months (our poor backs…) but we would put a wash cloth over his diaper area to keep that area warm/to prevent accidents. We probably had the tub filled past the max line as well since he was never left unattended even for a second. We also had to use a cup from the faucet for rinsing him if I remember correctly. It sounds like you are using it correctly with his head on the round “pad” and his butt against the bottom of the seat with his feet in the seat.

Long-term use recommendation from newborn to toddler
I have a 13.5 month old and we have been using the “Fisher-Price™ Baby to Toddler Bath 4-in-1 Sling 'N Seat Tub with Removable Infant Support” since the very beginning. I think we will keep using it for a while because right now he’s still sitting in the seat insert so once he gets a little bigger we’ll use it without the seat. I highly recommend it.
