New Kichler 6U Series 30 Inch LED Under Cabinet Light (White)

I was not sure what to truly expect with a light that had adjustable color temperatures like the 6U series, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The under cabinet light was fairly easy for my husband to install in about 30 minutes with the included instructions. Once installed, we were impressed with the feature to switch the lighting temperature. I like to have the option to change the warmness with the rest of my kitchen lighting. Also, the light was crisp and lit up the counters nicely without being overbearing. Overall, this fixture is excellent and fits our needs perfectly.

This is, perhaps, the best under cabinet light I have ever worked with. As an individual who works in the electrical field, I really appreciated how easy the knockouts popped out and especially how spacious the wiring compartment was. Light output in either color temperature setting is excellent, the flexibility of having both options is also amazing. Two captive screws make these lights, comparatively, a snap to install. So easy! The fixture body is very sleek, perfect for minimal visual impact and maximum style. Overall it feels like a quality product, which can't always be said for this type of fixture. Very impressed with this light.

Extremely well designed and built. The light comes with all the necessary hardware to install the fixture and the wiring is extremely straight forward and labeled in the fixture. Having the option of two different LED color temperatures (2700K and 3000K) is a huge selling point. This allows the owner to simply flip a switch and go from a cooler white light to a warmer yellowish light. The fixtures also have the ability to link the lights together with an optional cable.

An electrician is required for the installation of this product. It does not come with a cord to simply plug into an outlet. However, once properly installed it provides great under cabinet lighting. It has added efficiency to our kitchen tasks while we work on the counters while also accenting the backsplash at night. Our kitchen now looks much more modernized with a layered look to the lighting. We really like that we don't always have to have all of the lights in the kitchen on when our under cabinet lights are on. I'm hoping this will help to save on our energy bills. This is a great product!

We had to buy 18 6U series lights (all lengths) to get six that did not hum when installed with the correct dimmer switch by a master electrician. The driver that works has a black casing vice white casing - see picture. I wouldn't buy any of these lights unless you can open the box in the store. Nice design; crappy parts!

I really liked the dual CCT switch...very nice bonus. The fixture felt and looked well built. However, even though the instructions said it would be best to turn off the fixture before changing color temperatures, the fixture did in-fact quit illuminating some of the times I change the CCT when the fixture was on. I'm not sure that users will typically have or remember the instructions that state to turn it off before changing the CCT. It has a high lumen output, which in most cases could be good, but it would be nice if it could be dimmed at the unit. Thank you, Christopher

I was really impressed with this product and think it could easily be mounted in places that would be more visible such as near serving areas or buffet units. The finish is durable and professional enough to match most higher-end kitchen installations on the marker. It has a very sleek appearance and is the lowest profile contained unit I have ever installed. The ability to link multiple units together is a bonus, however, there is enough light from this one unit to wash the whole counter area where it was installed. I will certainly be using more of these on future projects!

I Highly recommend the 6U LED 2700K/3000K Cabinet lights... they provide the perfect amount of lighting.

Husband was able to install this under some built in garage cabinets and we are so impressed we want to order them for our kitchen cabinets. Really cool that you can change the color temperature! I never use to like LED because of the cool colored light it would emit it but now companies have different color temperatures LEDs so its more appealing to change all your lights to LED... But I do not know any other company that offers cabinet lights that give you kelvin OPTIONS for a Under Cabinet Light! Pretty cool!

The ability to change the color temp on this fixture is awesome. Which means no more having to guess if your counter and cabinets will look nicer in a warmer or cooler light. Best part is if you change your mind, just flip a switch back to the other color. It's a great feature. Light emitted is a soft diffuse light that doesn't show hot spots and gives off plenty of light for the size. I will be getting more of these to finish my kitchen. You can either hard wire this or buy a plug in accessory.

I installed this fixture in a little nook that was in need of direct lighting. It was a custom install, hardwired in. I found the fixture to be well engineered and constructed to be sturdy. The fixture was easy to mount in place with the included hardware. My final tie-in to the electric went without a hitch. There was plenty of space for the power source wire. Once installed I was pleased with the option to toggle between two different light colors. It provides plenty of lumens to light-up my nook

This fixture was incredibly easy to install. We love how it has the ability to switch between two color temperatures, so we could make it best suit the area where it was installed. We installed this under the cabinetry in our laundry room. It works and looks perfect in there. Now no more folding clothes and ironing in a poorly lit room. This under cabinet fixture solved all of our needs for appropriate lighting in that room. Thanks Kichler!

It's great that you could switch between 2700 and 3000k allowing different types of light based on preference or time of day. It was easy to access the wire compartment that also gave access to the driver. This allows on real to hook up directly to a wall switch if wanted. There are also outlets on either side to connect units together in serial. Overall the unit feels sturdy and well made with a nice finish. It provides nice light.

This light is awesome! It is very bright. Installation was very smooth. Intensity is as strong as fluorescent light. It seems to cover wide area for light. It has some slight delay in turning on but does not seem to be that great of an issue. The overall installation is not that bad. However, it seems that it can be improved as it was not that smooth. Hope we can put more effort on redesigning to create smoother installation.

I bought several of these in varying sizes for use throughout my kitchen. I installed them myself -- they're very easy. They look great and give off a clean white light. You can choose between 2700k and 3000k to adjust the warmth of the light. I have 3000k for the whitest light. I also love how you can choose to use the connector cords (sold separately) so you don't have to hardwire each and every light. Wonderful!

This is the one to go with! I love be able to change the light temperature. Depending on when I am cooking or done cooking are we are entertaining. Three screws and it is mounted and it is thin enough to be concealed under almost any cabinet. Easy access to wiring and you can get their jumper so you can wire them together easily.

This light is awesome. The best feature is the ability to choose 2700k or 3000k. You can match most other lighting that way, or choose the light that looks best in your home. Install was quick and easy, with easy wire access and connectors included. Quality build, looks great, almost a shame it will be hidden under the cabinets.

Installing the fixture was void of any issues. It looks great and I love having the choice of the 2700K and 3000K in the same fixture. I will purchase additional pieces with the cord and plug option to install in a few areas that would be difficult to hard wire. NIce to have color and size options as well. Kudos to Kichler!

I use this light over my desk for extra lighting in my office. It replaced a desk lamp that took up too much space, and I really like the feel of the light. I did have to modify the wiring to add a plug since I wasn't able to open walls in my office, but I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't know what you're doing.

I have the 6U 12" connected to the 6U 24" using the recommended Diva DVLV-600P switch and Kichler connectors and there is pretty loud hum coming off the lights. The temperature control is nice and the install was easy. For the price I would expect it not to be buzzing as I have cheaper Led's that doesn't buzz at all.

We love having under the cabinet lighting and these were very nice. We had no difficulties in installation. So far the light has lasted a little longer than the other cabinet lighting we installed before. Very discreet and I think everyone needs under cabinet lighting... will change your whole kitchen!

Great quality in materials. Fixture is sleek and looks very nice. Very easy to install. Being able to switch the kelvin output is a great feature. Nice even spread of light also. Am fortunate to install a lot of Kichler fixtures in my work. Some of the best products I've seen. Would recommend to anyone.

The under cabinet lights are a very white light, making the entire room appear brighter instantly. These are greatly beneficial for cutting veggies/meat in the kitchen; I didn't realize what a huge difference it would make! I want to install these in every room in the house now!

This light is well built and easy to install/chain together. The selectable color temperature are great for different countertops that one could have in there kitchen. I prefer he warmer light at 2700K. The color is ok and is really more of a grey than a "brushed nickel"

This fixture was easy to install and provides amazing light! We use it in the laundry room. Once I had the power run to the location, installing the light was super easy... It is the perfect level of light, and the ability to select the color temperature is useful.

I really like this fixture. I like how small the on/off and the color temp selector toggle switches are. The Textured Nickel finish is nice but I can't see it under my cabinet. It would be nice for an area like a desk where you might see the fixture.

I've always thought of adding lighting underneath of my cabinets. When I came across the Kichler units, I just had to get them. I got a 22in strip and a 12in strip, 1 of each, and they work well for what I bought them for. Highly recommended!!!

I love these for under my cabinets. I just upgraded our kitchen and needed some lights to brighten the space. These are just enough light, for the kitchen to pop. Electrical Installed perfect. Going to look at other lights for kitcen.

This light is great. I love that I can choose between two color temperatures. can easily switch to task from ambiance. It was very easy to install and it gives off a nice amount of light for anything you may want to do on the counter.

Picked this up to replace a florescent style under cabinet light in the kitchen. I always hated the harshness of the florescent bulbs. These LED lights work well and nice to be able to switch color temps for a softer light at night.

This under cabinet fixture is very high quality. It was an easy/quick install and I love the low profile & sleek design. Illumination is much better than what I had installed in its' place previously. Very pleased with this product.

I've tried a few under cabinet lights and this one is by far the best one I've used. Easy Install. Puts out a great quality of light without being overbearing. I'll be picking up a few more for other cabinets throughout my house.

For cabinet lighting I thought these were very wide. I did like that 3 could be connected together but not with out a separate cable. Being able to switch between different whites of light was nice for the look of our kitchen.

While some use cabinet lights for functional purposes, I added them to the cabinets in my kitchen for decorative purposes. I think these cabinet lights add a pop of elegance to my kitchen and plan on purchasing a few more.

Love the look of this light. The light it produced was exactly what I wanted and the two settings was an added bonus. Only complaint I have was assembly. Wiring isn't my strong suit and this one was a touch tricky.

Switching our existing fixture for this one was a breeze. The lumen output was brighter than we expected which is great. I am not sure we would switch the color temperature, but it is a nice option.

The light quality itself is really nice and it is cool to have the option of color temperatures but the light flickers. It isn't installed on a dimmer so there shouldn't be a reason for it.

Love that I can change the kelvin temp on this light,depending on why i am using it. Very easy to install - looking forward to adding more fixtures to complete the desk space I am using.
