Community Q&A

Is the Lezyne Flow Caddy waterproof?
No, it is water-resistant but not fully waterproof, so electronics or rust-prone items may need additional protection.

A multi-tool, CO2 inflator, tire levers, tube, and small snacks; some users also fit a light wind jacket.

Compared To

vs Saddle bags

Flow Caddy is more accessible and rattle-free but occupies bottle cage space, making it less versatile for long rides requiring two water bottles.

vs Jersey pockets

Caddy keeps weight off the body and preserves jersey space, but limits fluid carrying capacity.

  • Discussion on side-entry bottle cages and storage options

I’ve been using the Lezyne Flow Caddy for a couple of months now on my gravel bike. It fits perfectly in a standard bottle cage and holds my multi-tool, CO2, levers, and a tube. It’s way more accessible than a saddle bag and doesn’t rattle at all. Only downside is you lose a bottle, but for shorter rides or when you can refill, it’s great.

  • Lezyne Caddy Kit experiences

So I picked up the Lezyne Flow Caddy after seeing it recommended. Build quality is nice and it looks slick, but honestly for the price I expected more. It fits my multi-tool, a tube, and some snacks, but that’s about it. Also, it’s not fully waterproof – after a wet ride my stuff was a bit damp. It’s okay, but I think a small saddle bag does the same job for less money and doesn’t take up a bottle spot. Probably wouldn’t buy again.
