Watch Out For
Community Q&A
- Is the Ingenuity Ready Set Go Potty stable enough for a wiggly toddler?
- No, many parents report that the bowl detaches easily and the potty can slide or tip, especially on smooth floors, despite non-skid feet.
- Is it easy to clean?
- Yes, the removable bowl makes it simple to rinse out, but dumping liquids can be messy due to the curved design causing drips.
- Does it work well for boys?
- Mixed reviews; the splash guard is raised, but some still experience messes with urine spraying outside the potty.

Redditors often recommend spending more on the BabyBjörn for better design, sturdiness, and ease of emptying, though the Ingenuity is noted as a cheaper alternative.
vs IKEA potty
Some users suggest the IKEA potty as a similarly priced but better-designed option with fewer spill issues.

Stability concerns and bowl detachment issue
The potty isn't bad at all, it's just easy to snap apart at any time so you would have to be careful when sitting your kid on this. When I picked it up and moved it around I knew it would be easily detachable.

Design flaws but compact size praised
Honestly if you get this one you're set. Easy to clean and portable. The little pot is the easiest thing to dump and rinse... But it's so small and my kid outgrew it fast! We have a second one in the car just in case.

Issues with urine splashing and missing the bowl
We used it for a few times but pee literally goes everywhere else but in the potty. My boy doesn't like it. The splash guard is not high enough and there's gaps. It's easy to clean at least.

Comparison to BabyBjörn and IKEA potties, dumping mess
I had this one for a week before I tossed it. The bowl doesn't pour well—pee and poop water always dribbles down the side. I switched to the BabyBjorn potty and it's so much better. I've also heard the IKEA potty works great for the same price point.

Functional but unstable and not durable long-term
We got this because it was cheap and easy to keep in the living room. It works, but it slides on our tile floor even with the rubber feet. I have to hold it steady for my daughter. The seat part pops off too easily. For the price, it's fine, but I wouldn't expect it to last through multiple kids.
